You can buy it now in 2025 for under $600 even less than that if you order it without the sound and light system and or purchase the sound and light system separately and install yourself. But, you have to shop around and wait a couple of months for delivery, but the wait is more than worth it!
I watched this video a few times and finally decided to bite the bullet to buy it as 'The Boss' gave me permission to get it provided I build her an rc to her specs 😄. Then I saw they made the P803A model and had a tipping bed. I knew I had to get that version 😎👍. Can't wait to get it. Awesome review on this truck. I'm sure I'll be acting the same as you when I get mine, lol
Hi I have just brought the p801and the p802 can’t wait for them to come I have two make sure I got the battery fully charged and ready to go so I can have a really good play
I have the P801 and P802 and run them on a 3 cell 11.1v lipo and they really get up and go!! the speed controller is good for upto 12v you should try it ...even more fun!!
I bought the cross rc bc8 mammoth. It's a 1/12th MAZ 537. All metal chassis driveline suspention. Sound and lights, it's so fokking awesome! I think its much better then this hg p801 but also more expensive
It would make a very interesting RC model to build entirely from bags of parts. Full build. But that would probably take several nights. It took 8 hours just to lube the road wheels on my Tiger 2 tank (because you have to be insanely precise). I enjoy that stuff more than running them sometimes, because I don't like getting the paint and details roughed up.
You prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me atm you can watch all of the new movies and series on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend during the lockdown xD
Hey greatings from Sweden, you got your self another subscriber tonight. Just found you and seem to be all in just from watching the setting where you are filming with that shop all to scale. Thank you for this video, like i said to mr ThatsmyRc, i think one of those will have to move to sweden soon. Awesome, keep it up😀👍👍👍
Oh. I forgot to mention. It REALLY, well, all RC trucks, cars and most boats need driver figures. They make some 1/16 and 1/12 scale possible military figures that need a ride.
Awesome video, and awesome rig. Every scratch and when you repaint is going to add realism because they won't match perfectly. If you want to make the body have a pop factor to it you could do a dark wash. That would probably take it pretty far. Can this truck fit a axial scx10ii in the back of it? Even if you have to lay the sides down, that would be ok too. I can't wait to see where your vision takes you with this one.
What motor and size ESC does it have? Enough room to upgrade the motor to a 500 size? I have the HG P406 with a Traxxas Stinger 500 size motor. Now, AFTER watching the video, I am impressed. Looks like a 550 Titan or equivalent motor. I saw this advertised on EBAY or somewhere? And the specs they gave were TOTALLY different than what I see here. This deserves a Brushless set up.
I managed to get the 1/16 and then I saw this one “DAMMIT “ already upgrades for my little Hemet , but I love this one ! I like the box 📦 one but I like the tan color to be on this one , I see me owning this w a sensored brushless you know if you gotta go n go slow to !
@@AnthonyGonzalez-lw1ek i really like the cross rc 1/12 collection, i'm having problems with their motor, as far as i know, they are powered by a 550 can, but has a seperate smaller motor that runs the realistic motor fan, i don't like it because they make a constant whining sound when the rc is on and it's pretty noticeable, even with a speaker. i like my hemtt p803 because the motor that powers the shaft, also powers the fan so there is no smaller motor making a loud whining sound when your rc is on.
seems like the articulation for the suspension still bit hard. perhaps if soft a bit it will much better with less tires hang on the air.. just my opinion. the Bc8 seems like much smoother on the articulation of the suspension.
it is possible to improve it quite a lot. Plus 1.9" wheels are a huge improvement, with more off-road biased treads.. I swapped some of the rubber bushes for metal, see my channel if you have time.
It's a beast for sure I won't get it from bangood at all everything I have ordered from them takes for ever to turn up if it turns up at all its not a good company lol but I will buy one of these once I have some room and money and have sold some of my other rcs
This maybe a silly question . But these new 1/12 super articulated Military figures Do you think there is room inside the cab to fit a driver? Just Curious Like a Mezco 1/12 something with some bendability?
Has walking beam suspension. Cool. Thrre id a goose neck flatbed trailer for it. $550 i brleive it is. Truck is $550 as of 1/23/21. After seeing this im orderinf ot. Was on the fence between this, Humve, or tje Abrams tank. This os next.

For the price it needs softer and more flexible suspension, and the speed in low, let alone high, needs to be more scale. How proportional is the speed control? It looked a little jerky going over obstacles. Am I being picky? Well it's a lot of money!
hope all is well. i saw another guy with one of these ( with the dump bed like yours ) , and it did not have locked diffs and it was getting stuck everywhere on rocks and in sand, is yours completely locked ? i dont want to spend that much money on an 8x8 and having it getting stuck like that other guys, thanks for the great videos. please let me know thanks so much.

It was good in the beginning. They kind of got weird after my handler changed 3-4 times. All they want to offer me now days are the toy grade rc that don’t really fit within the channel.
Damn this truck is impressive. Very scale and the storage/carry case is a nice touch. Cheers !
