Hi Steve, I think it was your fault that a year ago I bought my Humvee HG P-408, and I am very happy, and I must say that these three vehicles that you present are the most complete in terms of details and mechanics. My Humvee had an honor the first road in the real military base. ;) Greetings from Barcelona and i hope you continue transmitting so much and good enthusiasm!
I own the HG P602 MRAP 6x6 truck, I love the heck out of that truck. It has some quirks but easily overlooked if you love working on and detailing/modding these RC vehicles. -A tip for the smoke units, I use regular baby oil to refill mine, and it smokes great. A big bottle of that is cheap compared to the tiny smoke oil bottles on RC hobby sites.
8x8 HG P801 defietly one of the best trucks in my collection. I load it so heavy and run it wet and hard. U will see videos where i submerged it fully inder water(mud). Still never have had a single problem with anything. Ony complaint is 1/12 is odd ball size
I got my hummer after watching your vid on it. I put a hobbywing fusion motor and a savox servo in mine. I was even able to find a servo saver that works great cause I kept breaking servos. So thank you!
Welcome to US acronyms. The Cougar is classified as a Mine-Resistant Ambush-Protected (MRAP) vehicle. The 8 x 8 is a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) and lastly the High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV).
Hi Steve, I purchased my hummer after watching your review video - my first RC in about 15 years!. There is nothing that compares to the features and quality for the price. This is a display quality RC. I've replaced my rear antenna (broke after a roll over) easily and pretty cheaply and will probably stock up on other spares too.
I totally agree, i too have the p801 tractor unit and the matching trailer also the hummer and the explosion proof 6x6, and yes you can get loads of spare parts for them....brilliant in my opinion
Own all 3. The only problems I have with them are the servos because of the weight. Also the 8x8s drive shaft creates a lot of friction between the two rear axles and will become brittle and snap easy. Another note is the gears in the planetary gear box on the hummer are plastic but it’s a good weak point to have as a fail safe. I love these things though and am very familiar with them. I was keeping track of the milage on the 6x6 since I take it on my daily walks and it’s at 273.4 miles without any mechanical problems (only cosmetic due to slip ups) and on broken shock from hard abuse on the trials. I recommend swapping the 6x6 wheels to what the hummer runs for it’s a perfect fit and offers that little extra needed ground clearance.
Hey Steve. Really like the vehicles. My favorite is the armored hummer. I actually drove one in Norway. I was with the 50 cal machine gun section when I was up there. You can use that one with the MK-19 grenade launcher as well. They were a lot of fun in Norway. Nice RC vehicles as well. Take care man
was wondering if you had found any upgrades for the crane i was looking at building the hemmit as wrecker and recovery truck for my 1/10 scale crawler events
Love my P408. The H1 hummer has a wheelbase of 130 inches, the hg p408 has a 12.95 inch wheelbase. So they are a true 1/10 scale. Keep up the sweet videos.
I agree with you! These machines are sweet but I do trail a lot and I need something that is going to be able to make it through where I trail and I just dont think the Hummer would make it. With that being said I did buy the Gmade Buffalo Military version for my birthday present and it is the likeness of the old CUCV vehicles that were around before the HUMMER came into production.
@@RCTanksTrucks247 I am still waiting for it to show up. As far as what I have seen, I think this will be a great truck. If i could I would have the whole military line of RC`s out there but that would be so expensive. I think the next vehicle will be the roc hobby jeep.

Also transforming the rigs themselves. My hg 602 hauler is a one of a kind w/ dual working stacks amazing functional rig that I’ve made it too be for the price 👍🏼
HG teased with a radar/rocket trailer a couple years ago. Still have yet to see any for sale. Also it would be nice if they released a 1/12 scale version of the Hummer to match the others.
These things look fantastic, I remember watching the vids but want really interested in them, but now I'm more into the scale model styling of these, they look great. Do they perform well as crawlers or trail trucks? Or more just a scale RC model?
Totally agree, HG is doing a great job so far. And some of these Chinese brands sometimes can get licensed by bigger brands and get more spread. Take Yi Kong racing for example. You have, or at least had, the YK4101, well guess what: now that chassis is sold with a Wrangler Rubicon (awesome) body by Absima, a German RC brand, as the Sherpa. They added some nice touches, great paint job and lights, clear German style instructions... it's really an amazing car, I love it. Anyway I hope HG keep growing and am looking forward for their future releases.
