Day 27 - Glasshouse patterns Silenetee in cotton jersey from Stitchy Bee together with True Bias Emerson Pants in Chambray fabric from Hobbycraft. Later added my Friday Pattern Company Ilford Jacket in a twill fabric from a Guthrie Ghani Sewing Society Kit
Day 28 - Ready to Wear Levi Jeans with the Avid Seamstress The Blouse in Atelier brunnette viscose fabric from Make 140
Day 29 - Sew Over It Nomi Dress in Viscose Jersey from Guthrie Ghani

I love the white tee on you! I prefer it untouched with those pants. The proportions look just right that way. I think you also look great in the Ilford jacket just as you made it. Fabulous me made May!! You have such a gorgeous selection of me made clothes. I do prefer your navy zadie and the fit of it. The more floaty one looks too big on you I think.

Your «Kelly» dress is stunning! I was thinking that if you wanted a shirt dress with godets, the French poetry Stella dress would be a good option, too. It has a fuller skirt, but I love mine :)

Wow 🤩 well done, you! What a marathon and how generous you have been with your time and insights! You’re so inspiring and honest and I really admire you for that and I do love what you’ve made! Overall, you know what you look and feel good in. You have a beautiful figure and personality and have no need to hide yourself in anything boxy or oversized. I think you look great in cropped, tucked and fitted tops so for example I’d alter your red jacket and take up the waist on your SOI green dress. I love your red dress with or without a tie and don’t think you need a collar, though it does suit you. Keep it simple as you wear the clothes beautifully not the other way round! I’ve really enjoyed your MMM and you’ve given me lots of ideas. If only you could come and help me sort my wardrobe out! ❤ xxx have a breather and a large glass of wine now and enjoy the weekend 😅 xxx

The first Zadie jumpsuit you made cannot be beaten in my opinion, however the one you wore in this video was lovely and floaty and looked good. The shirt dress at the end was beautiful, the fabric really suited you and it was nice to see a different colour on you. It made me laugh at the buttons you added, they looked so professional, despite your phobia of doing them. Look forward to seeing your trousers finished, such lovely way to use that fabric for the pocket linings. I’m going to miss this but look forward to your round up and a tour of your sewing room when you get around to it. Thank you xx

The Helens Closet Lockhart Jumpsuit and Dress looks like the Seasalt dress, darts in the skirt instead of pleats but it looks like a really good dupe

Thoroughly enjoyed your whole series. I have approached Memade May the same way. I finally have enough me makes in my closet that I went the whole month with no repeats and have a few pieces leftover. I have put so.e thought into my style, colours and daily retirement 'uniform'. Now I am going to ruthlessly attack my closets and do a clear out before planning my future makes.

Hi Angela Helen’s closet recently released a new pattern called the Lockhart and I think apart from the pleats it’s very similar to the sea salt dress xx

This has been a great series of videos and I've really enjoyed it. I think the red dress is gorgeous - without the tie belt - it's such a nice shape and the belt hides that.
As for me - I've only recently come back to sewing so I don't have enough to wear me made for a month - I'd struggle to do a week 😅. But I've used the time to evaluate my wardrobe and work out why I don't wear items and where the gaps in my wardrobe are and it's been really useful. Thank you for the inspiration.

By the way, I once heard a vlogger say that to remember where to point for the links shs always says - 'left for links' so she remembers to point to the left 😊

Yes - I have increased the amount of physical activity I do - and in particular my step count - but have then been very careful about what food I eat. I hope that helps x

I love your review and very interesting to watch the progress of the Thea trousers. I made my first pair in a 3 day workshop so toiled first. I was a size 8 waist graded to size 7 hips. However the toile gaped very slightly at the back so just increased the darts on the back and decreased the waistband. That fit perfectly. I too have some Italian lightweight wool. I think the leg width takes a bit of getting used to but I now love it.

I think the Zadie looks great I like all your versions of it, this one looks as though it will be quite cool and comfortable to wear. The Seasalt dress will look great and the Este could be used to create the top part. Have you seen the Sew House Seven Wildwood Wrap Dress? I’ve just pulled that out of my stash to look at making, but thought you might like the style. I’m off to buy some linen to make it in. I treated myself to the Dyson hairdryer love it dries my hair in no time and I have really thick shoulder length hair.

Every time my sweet husband says one of those sideways compliments I don't know what to think. I like your green jump suit better than the blue. Also, I would modify the magenta jacket. It would be cuter if it were shorter. Finally, do make those spotted sew over it ultimate trousers with a sway back adjustment. It was quite a pleasure to see you so often. We have had quite a cool day, unheard of so late in the year, but we had wonderful rain this morning and it cooled us off. I love your lovely red shirt dress. It looks casual and pretty.
