OMG 30 miles - absolute legend!!! I live in Australia and my dream when I win the lottery is to make the most fabulous dress ever out of the most amazing fabric ever and then fly around the world from one frocktails to the next and never stop - so maybe I'll see you in Plymouth!!!! haha

Hi Angela, firstly 👏 on reaching 30 miles, no mean feat and more than I could have done. Well done.
Secondly I loved the jumpsuit you made, so flattering on you and agree the slimmed version looks superb.
Thursday, I have a project book like yours since I saw Ruan using it and it’s great to store all those adjustments made, I know you have probably noted them on the pattern this is just a quick way to remind yourself of what you have made and altered
I wish I didn’t have so many WIPs but am now getting in the habit of cutting out a couple of either co-ords or clothes that will go together and aim to get them finished before I move on. If nothing else it reduces the cupboard storage where all the WIPs get forgotten.
Loved the Davenport dress and fabric, look forward to seeing that finished
And finally, I love a Shark vacumn cleaner and following an illness bought a second machine for keeping upstairs, what luxury! Take care ❤

Love the "Zadie"jumpsuit-and I like the faded color. I have made the "Marlo" three times, and I just love it-all in very different fabrics! :+)

Wow 30 miles...Angela that's a massive achievement well done..wish I had your motivation. I used to swim, cycle and play racket sports but the last few years its all gone to pot 😅.
Like you I love wearing jumpsuits I've made 2 zadies and made 3 from other patterns I really want a plain black one for work as our uniform is black. Can't wait to see your finished Davenport dress

Wow well done on 30 Miles, that was amazing 👏👏. I’ve done a 10K down at the same place as that’s held and that was enough on that terrain! My friend always raves about the 24hr challenge & has done it loads of times but she never managed to convince me🤣

I am a full-time sewing artist and have been using a carpet sweeper for my carpeted workroom for about 8 years. It’s perfect! You’ll like it :)

Ha ha - yes you’re right. I think I was a bit emotional and tired straight after the event. But now a week or so later, I am really proud of what I achieved. Thank you so so much ☺️

Angela, you are amazing! Thirty miles in a fundraiser walk/run is fantastic! I work out daily too but I don’t think I could walk let alone run like you did that day. You should be so proud of yourself! Keep making those beautiful garments! I look forward to your videos every week!

An old fashioned carpet sweeper is so helpful for quick pickups in your sewing room! It does need to be emptied and a wide-toothed comb is helpful to use on the brush from time to time.

Your commitment to your fitness is fantastic and it shows- you always look glowing with health and you are clearly in great shape. I just wish I could get in that groove ( never going to happen 😂😂). Thank you - I honestly am not sure if I will. I love running and anything from a 5k to a half marathon I find fun. I did not find that fun at all 🙈😂 but I think I will be cross with myself if I don’t try it at least once more!

30 miles is an amazing achievement! You certainly shouldn't feel bad about it. I love the jumpsuits too. I would be very interested to know how you get on with a cami top with a built in support, as I have never managed to find a strapless bra that is remotely comfortable! ❤

I tried keeping a paper project record but failed miserably. Ever since I use Stash-hub, I have all my projects, all my ideas and inspiration all together and accessible. I love going back and look at past projects and make them again.
30 miles for a first endurance event is quite the achievement. You didn't train beforehand. Well done!

Aahh thank you - I think I didn’t totally understand quite how hard the challenge would be - and as it got closer i thought - aaahh I’ll manage loads 😂😂😂 but now a week has gone by, I am feeling so much better and am very proud of what I achieved. Thank you so much.

Wow, you are so active. I wish I had your energy! Well done with your race. Brilliant. You should not feel disappointed, 30 miles is an amazing achievement. Your Sallie jumpsuit looks fabulous. I have the pattern, but have never made it. I am guilty of having a fair few WIPs. I tend to cut out a few projects at a time, so if things aren't going great, I am tempted to put it aside and get on with something else. I really must catch up with them all.

I have made the new look jumpsuit the waist lays about hip length I raised the waist but a very nice pattern made 2 of them .

Firstly I have to say I think you did amazing with your Hope 24 run! Don’t beat yourself up about having to walk, the fact you had to do that in 5 mile stints makes it harder. Having ran 3 marathons myself, I know that if I had to stop after every 5 miles I probably wouldn’t have been able to do it! High five to you!!
