Hi Martina. Thank you so much for making this video. I live in Southern California in the desert and I do a lot of hot weather knitting too. Your summer makes are a great inspiration. I hope you find some way to keep cool on the super hot days my friend. Hugs 🤗
Dear Martina, thank you for taking the time and energy in that horrible heat 🥵 to share your summer makes with us! They are all beautiful and I appreciate hearing you mention your favourite yarns again. Hope things have cooled down a tiny bit, or hope too can get to your watering hole at that mountain stream for some coolness. ❤
Hi, in the beginning you spoke about the little mistakes in your beautiful garments. I think it makes it very charming and authentic. Love your journey in knittingland. Greetings from the Netherlands, Christina
Hola , acabo de descubrir tu canal,, adoro todo lo que enseñaste!!! Todo todo me encanta es mi estilo; te sigo impaciente otros proyectos tienes mucho gusto en elegir patron y colores, gracias desde España ❤
Wonderful to see all of your beautiful garments modeled and what pattern and what yarn. It was all so interesting. Thank you! We have just had a few weeks of temp in the high 90 degree F and high humidity in New Jersey so I can relate!
What a wonderful collection! 😍 I'm curious about your needle preferences. With your experience, do you prefer wooden or metal needles (and which metal if so)? Or maybe it depends on the fiber or something else? I'm a quite inexperienced knitter, so far I've stuck to wooden needles, but sometimes it feels like they're hindering me... Maybe you could answer in the upcoming live 😊 (I'll rewatch if I'm not able to join!)
I have always worn basic colours in the summer because I am so afraid of sweat marks. Can recommend a fibre so I can wear bright colours. My aim is to wear bright pink confidently with no worry 😊🙏
All so pretty! This is only the second summer of my knitting journey so I'm making a lot of tops! Thank you for sharing your inspiration and wisdom about all of the fibers! I hope you have a nice day and can cool down a bit :)
I love watching your videos because I always get good ideas what patterns to knit and you are such a good knitter, it is so encouraging. But another topic, I am always looking for summer dresses but can never find, yours is so nice, if you got it anywhere at a store that is popular can you let me know. Thank you!
Hello Martina. You are a very talanted creator and a sophisticated soul. I recently discovered a book, "Magical knits,"and somehow it remained me of your spirit .
Martina … for your stained knitted flower sleeves top use peroxide and baking soda on the stained area only and leave it overnight before you wash it …it did get rid of my stained crochet piece
I hope to build my summer knits up in the next coming years. I am working my first jessie maed top called my little secret crop. Hopefully it will be as useful as your ripple bralettes are for you! Take care x
Beautiful work Martina. I always enjoy your videos. Thanks o much you are an inspiration. I actually knew a set of twins called Margarita and Martina. Also twins names Book and Read. They all went to Taft High School in Encino, CA. the 70”S Can you tell I grew up in the hippie era? LOL.
I know you said don't team you what to do, and you can just skip reading this if you want! But this happened to me once... red dye bled onto my white cable 100% Cashmere sweater. I was mortified. What I did is I bought Rit dye remover, and prepared it as they say to do. Then I took a paint brush and I painted the dye remover onto my garment in the places where the dye bled and it worked!!! Of course, my garment was white. This would not work if the garment was another color because, obviously, it would remove ALL color from the spots I placed the dye remover on, so if it was tan or yellow or any cooler, it would still be ruined. But you said your cloudberry is in white yarn so maybe you can try this, just one last try. I hope it works! I also knit the cloud berry tee and I agree... such a beautiful pattern
Bless you, dear! I really hope it works, let me know! And remember- don't do this if the yarn you'll paint is not pure white, it will take ALL dye out of that spot!
In Israel the heat is also super challenging... I also can not imagine wearing anything in the summer that has animal fiber in it. Even DK weight yarn is optional only like if I am in an air conditioned room but then the moment you go outside you want to die. Very challenging... Hang in there! 😊

Loved everything Martina, my favorite it’s make your garden so much beautiful 💗

I'd try a 100% linen yarn that really absorbs the sweat. Or any fiber that is not cotton!
💖

Unfortunately I got it at a local market store so I don't think they sell it in big stores 🙈I'm sorry!

Beautiful ladies like you don't "sweat" although you may "perspire" profusely. 😀 And the dogs "pant". That's one heck of a pile of nice summer knits.
😍🤩
Would you mind listing the yarns you used?
