Hello from America. I am living a slow life too. I knit, spin, garden , bake and sew. I am looking for new videos to watch while I knit because I am so longer watching the news since the election. Thank you for coming along just at the right time! I love seeing your dog and the nature around you. I can't live without a dog! Your "Skyscraper" sweater is my favorite. I can't think of a better name. See you next time!
How refreshing you are! Your photography of nature is just stunning! Intentional living Is the good life! Once someone said, "Awareness in the present moment is a gift you give yourself." It is a gift that keeps on giving...to ourselves & everyone around us. Nature is so healing to our souls, so I'm especially delighted with your patterns with the flowers & leaves...so Beautiful! Thankyou for sharing...🥰❤️🧶🌻🍁🌲
You spoke to my heart. I am living in Northern Ontario, Canada on a rural property. I too work at living with intention. We can so easily become distracted and miss living in the moment. I think as we age, we realize the importance of the relationships and the gift of the present. When I am in the natural world, my soul is fed. I love your designs and look forward to your Smörblomma sweater pattern being released. Perhaps it is a pattern for handspun yarn.
@@silviath521 Yes, I think you wrote it so well, that every moment is a gift. I love that. Thank you for your kind words. I don't spin yarn myself (yet) so I don't know if Smörblomma Sweater is suitable for it. My goal is to release the pattern on Tuesday. Take care 🥰
Thank you. I really enjoyed your first episode. I truly believe that the simpler a life is the happier it is and the greater the ability to live in the moment, be aware and present. I like your designs, particularly the sweater with no name. Are you making this from a natural non-superwash for the main body and a superwash yarn for the contrast? I look forward to your next episode.
@@sallywalker3571 thank you so much 😊 Yes, the main colour is non-superwash and the contrast colour is superwash for this one. I checked with another designer I know, she did this combo and it worked fine. Wish you a lovely day 🥰
Kalaidescope, your sweater reminds me of the toy you see changing kaleidoscope of colours through. Perfect for the Spincycle kinds of yarn! Very enjoyable first podcast, thank you!
Slow living to me is trying to do things from scratch when I can. One of my hobbies is to spin yarn. Going from the animal or plant to a finished textile is very satisfying. I don't finish as many projects but what I do finish are precious.
@@bagladysendtheferalspinner3761 I would love to learn how to spin my own yarn. As you wrote it's very satisfying to make things from scratch. You must be, and should be, so proud of our finished projects 🥰
I really enjoyed this. I too strive to be more present as much as can in my life. I take my dog to the park that is surrounded by woods every single morning to try and set my intention for the day. I mostly look forward to my knitting times. I can’t wait for your next episode.
Your geometric sweater will be lovely - a Kaleidoscope comes to mind for me as a possible name for it. The forest around you is very similar to forests in my part of Canada - the trees, rocks and moss in particular.
Nice to get to knit with you. How about Autumn Glow for your sweater name? I look forward to watching many more of your podcasts whenever you get a chance to make one.
Well done and thank you. This was a nice moment of your life shared and an enjoyable accompaniment to my knitting this morning. Kind of like looking through a windowpane. The name of your sweater could be windowpanes.
Hello there. Your sweater reminds me of those beautifully coloured, melted, isomalt shapes that look like sun-illuminated windows in the middle of a biscuit (cookie). I immediately thought it should be the Sugar Biscuit (or cookie) Sweater - now I feel like some biscuits!😄Or what about the Kaleidoscope Sweater? Good luck anyway. I'm sure you will find a lovely name.
