So glad that they kept Susie for all 12 seasons!
I get excited when she’s in a scene, especially when she’s being nice because I’m just waiting for Larry to inevitably piss her off.
This was the first episode that really had me in hysterics. Jason Alexander was brilliant, but Wanda Sykes! Oh man, that riffing she did in chewing Larry out is still one of my all-time favourite Curb moments.
"Scrounging under the bleachers lookin for ass" 😂😂
Scrounging around lookin for ASS!???😂
Wanda was superb, her delivery was comically perfect.
Scrounging around looking for ass?
Her line about scrounging around for asses under the bleachers is still one of the best lines in the history of the show
Larry/Jason's office argument might be my favorite part of the series.
Just love the memory on Jeff😍 Such a treat to hear all the detail he has stored in his 🧠
He has to stop interrupting Susie and saying By the Way....why cant he wait his turn. He is freakin obnoxious. Susie has tremendous patience...
‘Of course, bc you’re not disturbed like i am’ aww jeff lol
"What crevice did you pull that out from?" omg this podcast is funny AF😆
This was so far the greatest episode of the podcast and it had the most time spent in conversational side bars. Loved it. Thanks you two!
I can't wait until The Doll episode. It's my favorite too.
Thor was Malibu on American Gladiators! Recognized him right away
These episodes are going to get better and better as the series evolves. Thank you for sharing your fun facts and stories. 👍
Great new word, Susie “larry-ness” 😂 23:38
My mother and I still find ourselves in hysterics every time we watch that scene with Wanda confronting Larry about his comment! And that ending…. One of the most memorable endings in the series!
the meeting about a meeting! watching this clip was what made me finally get into the show last year. gold! 😂
Loving these episodes. Keep on keeping on
This is the best episode of History of Curb so far... Jeff and Susie are in a good rhythm today
Ass man
AAA
Susie yelling the titles of the porn
Afternoon sex implication
Larry and Jason argument
The photo at the end
Thor
"The fact that I make Larry laugh has given me a job all of these years."
Been rewatching the show from the beginning with these guys. Hilarious! Just gotta say I also love Susie’s hair when it’s curly.
I’m always waiting for Ms. Essman to release a torrent of curse words on Jeff.
yeah it would be a laugh if they did an episode in character!
I love Jeff's guilty "Hey! Hey!" on the show.
Love too see in character Susie flipping out at jeff on this podcast , just brief lol
I freaking love the Blues Brothers!! I'm so happy Jeff went on another one of his tangents.
Easily in me & my dad’s Top 5 episodes
Sidebar: he was in the hospital recently and we waited til he came home to watch the series finale together…totally worth it
Curb is also a big thing with my dad and we started together with season 2 episode 1 the used car salesman back....20 damned years ago. glad he's doing okay.
@@americantragedies that’s tremendous, salute
Thanks, this episode is hilarious.
So honore to be part of the elite audience who wants to know every possible insight of this historic work. THANK YOU
Fishing for reassurance - you got it... you are both wonderful to listen to and both bring so much to make these sessions completely entertaining... 5 stars our of 5
Love you Jeff, you're doing a great job and your stories about Curb and otherwise are very interesting. Thank you for producing Curb, I always enjoyed your character, and thank you for your part in this podcast. I appreciate Susie too of course, but I wanted to particularly thank Jeff because lots of ungrateful jackasses are trolling him about the way he talks.
By the way, I had to go back to the beginning of this episode to hear Susie drop the first “by the way”. Hilarious! 😂
Susie thanks for mentioning Dort Clark
“by the way” clock: 0:48 and it’s Susie this time!
😂 it's contagious
Susie’s “by the way” count was 3 for the episode
It was a lot better today
Keep em coming guys
Love it!!!
loved the 2nd episode of the podcast i'll look forward to more stories and guest interviews love from culver city california socal la area ❤️
At 21:00 Jeff! Your Mocking Gordon Solie!!! The "Walter Cronkite" of Professional Wrestling.
You two....just the best part of my week!!
Love this podcast so much
Keep em coming!
Yaaaaay! More more more and more. Please don't stop
love your podcast, guys!
Larry should publish the outlines. I'd buy that and I'd love to read them.
These pods make my work day fly by thank you!
🤡
I like them on the couch more than at a table or on stream for sure.
I was funny as early as preschool too, jeff. Adults would tell me i was a child version of woody allen 😆. But not with everyone…just with family and close friends. I got too shamed for having a disability be funny with everyone. Ive slowly gotten it to be funnier with wider audience, but I dont see myself being able to ever do it for a crowd.
Knowing the stair case scene makes this that much better
Fun Fact: Thor’s quote is a twist on Ric Flair saying “I’m 200 lbs of twisted steel and sex appeal”.
Liked the shout out to Gordon Solie!
I love this episode. Thor
"We'll get to that"
and the wagon they used was a old ford crown victoria wagon
Im amazed u would even do stand-up if u have so much anxiety about it, suzie. I thought u do it if its fun for u. Btw…i saw jeff do stand-up once and it was so good. Improvised totally, bc it was about audience members, and funny.
A big bowl of by the way, and I'm here for it
The guys who played the wrestler was one of the American Gladiators. Surprised they didnt know that.
🤡
The wrestler was on American Gladiators.
How many of these did they shot before the end of the show?
50
Personal fsvourites
21:44 Jeff’s response and then the face he pulls, wtf?!
After podcast started to notice the visual effects in first seasons, especially the shots of David family house at night\evening s01-02, what is the deal, it looks especially bad, was last minute addition because they were out of budget or what? With all respect!
Should we start a petition or something to get Larry to publish the outlines?
I'd love to see the out-takes, there must be tons of comedy gold there.
We always knew that Larry was a genius because of Seinfeld.
Maybe Seinfeld was genius because of Larry
@@danielthomson4462Seinfeld is not a genius.
You will poop your bald pants. Hahahaha
I want to learn about Curb. I don't care about your childhood car accident, Jeff. Jesus. Every fucking show.
For sure! It’s even worse when he goes into patting himself on the back for how funny he was as a kid and what he used to do and how he just knew he was gonna be the best, blah blah blah!
I used to defend Jeff a lot about his “by the ways”. But this episode finally broke me.
@@tylernewton7217 so GTFO and like he says, you can have your money back
@@tylernewton7217cry me a river
Susie :
Jeff : "oh, BTW..."
Unofficial "by the way" count: 53. Basically 1 a minute. Bravo Jeff!
Jeffs “ADHD” is no excuse for rudeness.
has Susie began using Jeff's bytheways now? keep doing it! 😂
Caught that as well! This whole show is a series of by the ways. It's hilarious on its own. No wonder curb turned out so beautifully
Cheryl Hines' veneers are so distracting, they're so giant.
Burt Bondi strikes again!
“You see the size of these things?!”
Jeff’s “by the way” count: 60
By the way that’s lower than average
Funny how he never talks about "The Goldbergs " even though he brings up other roles he's done. He must have really hated his time on that show and the way they screwed him over.
He talked about The Goldbergs when he was on The Joe Rogan Experience.
"By the way" needs to be on his headstone.
what ?? flying 50 yards ?? that's half a football field .. and then to only be bruised and cut ... no more like maybe 30 feet ...
doing a drinking game, everytime jeff says "by the way", i drink :D
You’re gonna be hammered!
*cue Sarah McLachlan* 🎶 In the arms of the angel… 🎶
Line up the shot glasses. Time to Play. "By The Way" 5 minutes in and I'm already drunk. 😮
It’s crazy they didn’t know he was Malibu
scrolled through the comments to find this one
Jeff by the way Garlin
Once this series is over, there ought to be a "by the way" compilation video put together. Chances are it'd be longer than an actual episode.
Yawn
Yeah, people joking and complaining about that is getting really old, more annoying by far than anything in the podcast itself. Also it's potentially upsetting to the hosts.
@@ssw4m thank you
1:02 is Jeff's first interruption. New record!
BY THE WAY
Ahhh, poor Jeff. We are rooting for you buddy.
Is he sick?
@@user-et6pj4db9s no. He is having an issue with his self esteem related to the podcasts. JEFF deserves our appreciation.
@@olderbutbetterbeauty why is he having an issue, is this related to people's criticisms in the comments?
@@user-et6pj4db9s At the end, he talked about ruminating about what he said and didn't say after the podcasts. I just felt great empathy for Jeff.
I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be surprised. How many people have commented on "by the way". Maybe I'm just super sensitive.
Jeff every 10 seconds: "By the way..." lmao
#Bytheway
new drinking game: every time Jeff says 'by the way' you take a shot...wont be conscious 15minutes into this...
I love the show and hate to be critical but I watch this podcast for Curb Your Enthusiasm and tidbits and trivia and behind the scenes, etc. I don't care about Jeff's journey, that's a story for a different show. I too have ADHD and I understand that sometimes it's hard to pull back but I wish he would really focus on only stuff directly related to the curb show.
I feel like both of them are starting to get a little over self congratulatory too. They started this whole project off very humble, but at this point they’re saying how great they knew what lines they came up with were and how amazing they are. It does get old.
So host your own podcast about Curb.
Jeff's money-back guarantee isn't enough. He should give dissatisfied viewers double their money back!
Who else takes a shot of gin every time the fat guy says “by the way”?
By the way
when jeff said he was afraid of sussie telling everyone about his sexual deviance , larry should of said what does she have pictures of you in a bikini
Drinking game every time Jeff interupts Susie and says "By the Way".........Why cant someone tell Garlin that is SUPER ANNOYING AND RUDE.........dont always butt in and someone make him a tshirt that says BY THE WAY......awful.......
I'll tell you something that is more annoying, all the losers who have never been in a world-class comedy or accomplished anything even remotely at that scale, and don't know how to appreciate this free gift of a podcast, complaining over and over about the same damn thing in the comments of each and every episode ad nauseam. Now that's SUPER ANNOYING. If you don't like Jeff or can't tolerate how he communicates, don't watch the podcast. Susie is more than capable of butting in over Jeff or standing up for herself if she wants to do that.
Jeff is totally obnoxious on these podcast episodes, continually interrupting Susie, talking over her and correcting her. He is insufferable.
Welcome to the by the way, Jeff and Jeff show my God he is such a narcissist so about him
You're so original
Thank you
season 2 is not on HBO has HBO severed ties with the podcast because of Jeff? Why is Jeff still on here? he's all over the place he talks all over Susie unbelievable he hasn't been replaced yet.
Are you a troll or just deranged?
I like Jeff and I've watched all these episodes but I might have to stop. His constant use of "by the way" is so fucking annoying.
It would be one thing if he kept them short and then helped get back to the original point. But he so often cuts off what you can tell was going to be a great discussion, and then it gets completely forgotten about just so Jeff can talk about how he was the one who hired so and so who ended up so funny, blah blah blah!
It drives me nuts when something interesting gets cut off!
don't let the door crack your skull on the way out
"By the way" = "shut up, I want to talk". So sick of Jeff. Will most likely stop watching/listening.
We are like 12 minutes in with 20" By the Way's" from Garlin. He should see a therapist about that phrase!!!! STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111
Geez this podcast would benefit from some editing. You guys could easily cut this episode in half and it would still have been more than enough. I also don’t really need a detailed recap. Assume we’ve all just recently rewatched the episode. You unfortunately aren’t really bringing anything new to the episode that you haven’t mentioned in previous episode of the podcast. Edit.
Love that Susie got in the first by the way!
