I love how Jeff tries to do his interruption shtick a few times and Larry shuts him down. Larry's face when Jeff interrupts is priceless. Seems like Larry gave up towards the end of the podcast realizing Jeff can't be helped, but this is more watchable than most of these episodes.
You can tell when Larry is fake-laughing and when he is real-laughing. When he fake-laughs look at his jaw, and if he is deliberately moving it up and down - it's acting, it's fake. When he is really laughing he doesn't do that.

I was watching this episode on a plane a few months ago and we were landing so I had to unplug my headphones and I watched the last half of the episode with no sound and knew exactly what was happening. It was brilliant.
That really is evidence of true comedic writing genius, right? The ability to make a comedic premise so universally funny and understandable that you can know the meaning of everything taking place without even needing dialogue, Larry is so good at writing visual and conceptual plots.
These podcasts have been a massive treat, and I’m having fun rewatching the show each week along with the podcast. Please do this for all 12 seasons! This is a ton of fun to learn about the production of the show as a massive Curb fan.

Jeff still had his By the Ways but he can slightly reign it in with Larry sitting there, so it doesnt really seem involuntary. He can reign it in when he wants to.
Exactly my thoughts too. He was much more appropriate in this podcast which only goes to prove he *can* control himself but chooses not to when it's just him and Susie making it bad mannered selfishness rather than part of some ailment which many of his defenders put his rudeness down to.

Re-watching this series as the podcast goes on, the first two episodes are classic for me, this one has a slow start and silly, easily avoided situations, although absolutely hilarious at the end, best moments were Susie's scenes and Cheryl's revenge. And the toilet scenes
I love how Susie says "why do I need to go to a theatre to watch something I'm going to see on TV?" Before revealing they use the same theatre in real life for the Curb premiere 😂
Really enjoyed this episode. Larry seemed the most comfortable and chill. Sometimes on talk shows I’m he seems a little irritated and combative which I’m sure is on purpose. This one he was just so mellow and cool.😃
Jeff ABSOLUTELY should be self policing every question AND TONE that he asks and uses. We are very intelligent and that means we demand neurotic self appraisal, constantly.
I wish they'd stop interrupting Jeff 😂 This was such a GREAT episode. Larry doesn't often go into detail about his writing processes and challenges and here we are.

I find they missed on a couple of important details in that hysterical doll scene: The little girl cries and screams about her doll's hair that's been cut, while her mom is publicly shaming Larry for everyone to hear, the jackass lady from the theater stands behind the mom with this silent yet belittling/judging look, and at the same time the ABC executive walks in on Cheryl in the bathroom because Larry was no longer guarding the door. Perfect madness caught on screen! 😂
Great episode, but at the start when LD corrects Susie on the episode number, would have been perfect if Susie had said 'you know what...get the fuck out of here'.
I wish Larry would have finally revealed his actual source for the theme music other than "a bank commercial," because the commercial in question has never been identified and I'd really like to find out which bank it was and obtain the original.
