One of my favourite Curb episodes ever.
It’s super-refreshing for Larry to get his revenge every once in a while.

I hadn't noticed until the clip was shown that Larry whistled Mel Brooks' song, "Springtime for Hitler and Germany" at the end of the scene. Also, "You want to check my penis?" is a great comeback.

One of the best Curbs ever. Larry's response to the self loathing jew accusation may rank as the best line in Curb ever... And the whole bald asshole thing and his interaction with the cops: utter genius... 😂
Larry does do the best phone in the business. I assume he plans out and imagines what the other person says because hes awesome
Anybody else prefer the earlier seasons of curb for how unpolished and real it was? Jeff keeps pointing out things that they would technically do differently now but to me these older shows are perfection. Although I still love the last few seasons, I find the more elaborate stories, slicker camera moves and bright lighting don’t suit this style of comedy as well

I actually do like the season 9 comeback season, ssn 10 is OK ssn 11 SUCKED except for the clansman episode season 12 like mehhhhhh

The way Larry looks at him like it’s a standoff is so hilarious.
I think he brought the idea from Seinfeld. Jerry fighting with some random guy outside of an opera and getting him to stand down.
I recently re started the entire series over again once the actual finale was aired a few weeks ago. Watching THIS episode for the 1st time in a long time for the 2nd time i found myself SOBBING at the end and it surprised me. Its such a great episode

I disagree with Jeff about Cliff going from 0 to 100 in anger about Larry's golf clothes. That made me laugh so hard because it wasn't nearly as bad as perceived cheating with his wife.

I know everyone complains about Jeff but holy shit he's truly unbearable this episode. And considering how long ago they filmed these I can't imagine he's going to change anytime soon. I can't even finish this one.
Totally agree, his job should be like a sportscaster to add color commentaey. However, most of the time it's about him, what he did, they were friends of his etc... like the thing with Henry Bingo he had to say that he may have come up with it and goes on for another five minutes.
He also tends to do BTW’s about the filming of new season 12 episodes which have dick-all to do with anything from the season 2 episode we’re supposed to be focused on. So annoying. How can we possibly care what you’re talking about Jeff when we don’t even know a single thing about it yet?!
Anyway, I’ll still watch every one of these, of course. Still worth the overall show.

Listening to these podcasts is hard sometimes, it seems like Jeff never agrees with what Susie is saying or her take on the situation and it just slows things down. I feel like having a conversation with Jeff would be frustrating lol

Garlin is particularly obnoxious in this episode despite scaling back the "by the ways" to some degree. Talking about the smokers on the stairs and saying "BTW, a lot of those people died of lung cancer. That's why the numbers are smaller now, they've been eliminated". Seriously? You're in California, Jeff, nowadays people only smoke weed there. It's a social change, not a medical one. Talk about insensitive, and I'm no fan of smoking but come on, man. Also I found him surprisingly critical of some of the segments of the show's direction and writing here. He must be a joy to work with sometimes. All that aside, this is one of my favorite episodes of the series.
You should audition for Curb, you could be in a scene arguing and berating Jeff
Even though it makes me mildly cringe that podcasts are now tag-ons to studios releasing shows, this one is great.
