I actually give Vanjie an extra point for doing that. Not everyone, see above, knows that detail. At least she shows she did at least three minutes of research of Cleopatra, we've seen people doing less with their characters.

Exactly! It's such a famous reference in the literary and scholarly world in general. Cleopatra's clandestine first meeting with Julius Caesar.
I cant even begin to describe how Gottmik's runway affected me as a trans man because even people who aren't trans saw that look and had an emotional reaction. I wanted to cry when I saw that look because when I had top surgery it was so liberating and this look was so clever in how it was unexpected for the category, not a lot of clothes, and such an easily understood concept. This look made me feel so proud of my transness and so SEEN.
It made me emotional as a cis person. To see this on the global stage was groundbreaking. I sincerely hoped they would take a moment to talk about it during critiques to shed more light on it.

what trixie said about gottmik as an artist really resonated with me. we are living at the same time and getting to experience these artists first hand that people are going to talk about for generations. mik's perspective and artistry is so unique, and so so so QUEER. it makes me really emotional to see what happens when you give someone the platform and means to create such impactful art and share it with the world. sometimes i look at mik and wonder if people felt the same way seeing keith haring etc in the early days of his career. how lucky we are to be able to experience this

Gottmik’s drag is just… different level. She’s quite brilliant.
It was an interesting concept, but didn’t think it was well executed. The fake arms could have been done differently for example so they didn’t look as weird at the back.

Jujubee is just made for TV, I have so many favorites but no one tops her character, nature and facial expression (and she's so beautiful). What an entertainer and lovely person.

It's on Dropout (formerly College Humor!) Some of their campaigns are on yt for free, not sure if DADQ is one of them, but dropout is pretty cheap! It's Jujubee, Bob, Monet x Change, and Alaska, so a pretty fantastic party!!
@@Veronica-zw3sl Yep, the first episode was put on YT for free & I signed up to watch the rest of their campaign for $6 then cancelled when it was over b/c the next non-drag D&D campaign Mentopolis was more tedious & not as cleverly executed in play.
The cerebral-Noir mystery premise of Mentopolis sounded so cool, but all the improv players were lackluster compared to the quick, off the cuff drag queens before them. There was one joke early on about a brainstorm on that I did love. The first episodes for both campaigns are still on YT.

Everytime JuJu graces my screen, she always delivers. How has she not been asked to be on the Put Stop before, I would never know, but she always delivers. One of my favorite Drag Queens of all time.

BLACK VELVET- was THE moment we ALL fell in LOVE with Jujubee!!! The chin flick, that side glance, I-CON-IC. Still ONE OF THE BEST lip syncs of ALL TIME.
She is a great lip syncer. Compare the lip syncs this all stars seasons to ones in seasons 1-9 (Angeria did great though). The standards and quality were so much better. Most of the queens were seasoned performers who could sell a song (with a few exceptions). Compared to now. The standards are pretty low nowadays. dead faces, tricks.

For anyone wondering, almost all animals do in fact have forward bending knees. Yes, cats and dogs too. On their front legs quadripeds sometimes have back bending joints but those are more like wrists and the knees are on their back legs.
