Curb is hands down the greatest American comedy show ever. I will miss it dearly...
Always Sunny would like to retort... But joking aside I struggle to decide. Curb is incredible, and incredibly good at making me feel uncomfortable. The social interactions make me cringe so hard between the laughs. There's nothing else like it.
If you struggle between Curb and Sunny then I'm amazed you haven't forgot to breathe by now. @@rrael

I binge watched the show 2+ years ago when I was home recovering from a pretty bad heart attack.....I laughed so much it healed me ! LOL

I am perfectly ok if everyone reading this just totally ridicules me!!! I was TODAY years old (I'm 58) when I learned that "Curb" had a one hour special BEFORE the actual Curb series started! ...I never knew!! Seinfeld is my #1 fave tv comedy of all time and there's not even a close 2nd. And I have enjoyed curb over the years but it's seasons are spread out so much I lose touch at times... I am now watching all the episodes I have not seen yet.. on season 10. BUT, I stumbled upon this and started watching and found out I get to add a one hour special to my queue!!! Some of yall will laugh at me.. call me "not a real fan" ..but let's face it, some of yall jealous I am about to experience the special for the very FIRST time!! 🤣 Going to watch it now! 😛 ..then will come back and finish this LOL
Took me until about 25 minutes into this episode to remember Jeff and Susie's characters were a couple hahaha. Can't wait to go back to season 1 again now.
Man, I'll miss seeing the new episodes. But 12 seasons - what more can you ask for? Thanks to Larry and the Cast 🤓🫵

Holy fuck, I hope this is first podcast jitters from Jeff and not the way he actually is. Between him constantly feeling the need to talk and the obnoxious way he seems to find a way to explain that actually water isn’t wet, the sky isn’t blue, and grass isn’t green, it’s not exactly surprising his Goldbergs co-star was so happy to see the back of him…

I still remember when I accidentally came across the pilot, on a niche tv channel here in Ireland, back in the day. I knew nothing about Larry at the time, as I had never really watched Seinfeld then tbh, but straight away I was captivated; it was just so fucking funny and I headlong loved the natural dialogue and character dynamics. It hit my Woody Allen borne funny bone and I was hooked forever! I understand why Susie & Jeff reflect on the flaws here, but trust me, as a fan, I always return to the pilot and it remains one of my very favourites. This podcast is such a gift, thank you everyone involved.. ❤
THANK YOU - love this so much!! I shared a parking garage elevator with Larry David at the Hammer Museum in LA in 2008. I was excited/nervous to be spotting him in real life. When he exited, and he was pretty far away, I yelled out "I'm a fan" and he stopped as if trying to decide if he would react and he gave a nice Larry wave.
When one has real problems in life just watch Larry David. LD biggest drams queen on earth.

I can still remember the first time I seen Curb.
I was flicking through stations in Ireland and landed on TG4, an Irish speaking channel and then this came on to greet me.
I was bemused at first because I'd never seen anything quite like it. I was hooked by the looseness and absurdity of the show.
All these years later and I'm still a huge fan.
The best American Comedy show thusfar produced.
Well done to all involved.

I had such a hard time connecting with Curb. I attempted to watch Curb 5 different times before I got it. S6 got me started and I have been a fan since. What a brilliant TV series!
The addition of first Bob Einstein, and later JB Smoove, into the cast changed the series completely. Took it to another level entirely.
I was a teenager when Curb Your Enthusiasm started. I went to santa monica high school, so as a result I spent a lot of time at the mall. Santa Monica place. It always amused me to see the oh so familiar entrance right outside Larry's office window.
…the theme song is an Italian song called “Frolic”…and some of the other music playing in the series are also Italian songs…love the music…thank you for this wonderful podcast!!…❤️

I love that pilot episode/special and re-watch it at least once a year.
I've loved CYE for years and followed it series by series, loving the new season its my laughter tonic each week for a little while now.

The greatest episode of all time was Vehicular Fellatio! From the opening scene to the RIDICULOUSNESS that transpires throughout, to Richard Lewis not willing to understand where Larry's coming from, knowing he'd behave exactly the same if roles were reversed, only worse because he'd shame Larry over it, to how it closes with it all tying back into the opening scene!
That has to be the most brilliant episode of any comedic show in history!!!

Side note, I used to regularly turn Curb on when I was struggling to sleep, it’s my comfort show.
Other side note my ex girlfriend hated the show and I left her in the dust as a result 😊

I noticed Larry mentions his children in the Pilot too, then they are gone when the series starts, BUT Larry would not be above lying about having children just to swear on the lives of his fake children (Even though he does have children IRL)

Oh good...i thought this has been out awhile and I'm late to the party, but looks like I'm right in time. This is gonna be awesome.
So this podcast is like Talking Sopranos where you go through each episode and season of Curb. This is great to see. Aside from Seinfeld, The Honeymooners and The Simpsons, Fawlty Towers, Curb Your Enthusiasm is in the top 5 best comedies of all time worthy of a podcast like yours.

Love this so much! I do get a little annoyed with Jeff's reactions to some of Susie's questions/statements. but after seeing him live i realize its just his personality. Having said that, I can see how his personality could rub some people the wrong way
