Johnny’s the most grounded and refined representation of a what a Christian should be in my opinion. He has a testimony that’s undeniable and shows the routes humans are capable of taking with a lack of love in an abusive household. The forgiveness he shared about in his testimony reconciling with his father is tear worthy. He’s who a lot of young men need to aspire to act like! He’s at peace with himself through Christ and it shows. He’s a rare breed

He does show the true heart but that is where a lot of Christian’s get it wrong. We are actually supposed to judge and hold each other accountable. I know how he was meaning what he said but I do wish that he would have had a chance to dive in deeper or at least give the explanation of why we are to judge. Most people will get mad that I said that but we are to judge the outward appearance of what a Christian should be doing. We are not to judge someone’s heart which is God’s job. People will say that I’m a judgmental bible thumper when that is not the case. They do not understand what I am saying.

It's interesting how a lot of people don't understand that the reason Christians use long examples. is due to the fact people misunderstand what they say. And that there are those who don't understand or get it straight away when you give a straight answer. but half the time is to not to offend them.

We atheists aren’t interested in your life story (stories are just useless anecdotes.) We just want science or logical arguments, and Christians have none.
Not only that, but a lot of Christians have a condescending tone when talking about what’s in your “heart” or the best way to live.

I noticed that too. I think it indicated a lack of objectivity and genuine curiosity in the group. Thinking you already have the truth can be one of the biggest hindrances to getting it. Everyone starts out ignorant but those who won't listen/observe will remain that way. Since he was interrupted, they'll likely never know what he *was* going to say and therefore won't know if it was worth hearing.

This video was really nice to watch… it’s a shame that Johnny was cut off because what he said was so well thought and he shared the truth with so much love. @@victorvargas9330 he was comparing sin to a virus, and since homosexuality is considered a sin that’s how he was explaining it. Basically whatever is in your environment affects you.
