It's a common error that people say the Bible says not to judge. The Bible says do not judge lest ye be judged but it also says in John 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
"You shall know them by their fruit." This verse as well establishes a command to judge. Yes, the Bible does not say not to judge, but rather; check yourself and make sure you are not being hypocritical when you do judge.

@@victorvargas9330I believe what he was saying is that faith was the pill to the "sin virus". @Star_hairrrbeing honest and upfront about sin does not equal to not having love 😂 She’s was so strong and so admirable! Nowadays Christians excuse sin and nonsense so much trying to act “loving “ but they’re only encouraging bad behaviors and not correcting their brothers and sisters .
Johnny is so humble, meek, and knowledgeable. He is a great example of a follower of Christ. You can see God’s love in him. Especially with the non-judgment towards others
He does show the true heart but that is where a lot of Christian’s get it wrong. We are actually supposed to judge and hold each other accountable. I know how he was meaning what he said but I do wish that he would have had a chance to dive in deeper or at least give the explanation of why we are to judge. Most people will get mad that I said that but we are to judge the outward appearance of what a Christian should be doing. We are not to judge someone’s heart which is God’s job. @@deo1107Absolutely untrue. The Bible doesn't say not to judge. It says not to judge unrighteously. We are absolutely called to judge righteously and speak truth to the world. The Bible says that we will be hated for it, but to use His Word as a sword of truth.

What is needed in middle ground discussions is an actual moderator. A lot of times people are cut off, discussions digress from the prompt, and sometimes there's also name calling or disrespectful phrases when debating.
There are when it gets too much. I think it was an episode of the Satanists and popular religions. It got a little heated and the director asked to take a few minutes away so people could finish their sentences.
I like there isn’t one. We get to see true character and I think if there was one (like I’ve seen in other debates) they still get cut off and aren’t able to fully express what the way they want to. It's a common error that people say the Bible says not to judge. The Bible says do not judge lest ye be judged but it also says in John 7:24

"You shall know them by their fruit." This verse as well establishes a command to judge. Yes, the Bible does not say not to judge, but rather; check yourself and make sure you are not being hypocritical when you do judge.

this guy is bold , hes aware of the place he has been, his visible firmness comes from Holy Spirit for sure.
People will say that I’m a judgmental bible thumper when that is not the case. They do not understand what I am saying.
Preach!
@@deo1107Absolutely untrue. The Bible doesn't say not to judge. It says not to judge unrighteously. We are absolutely called to judge righteously and speak truth to the world. The Bible says that we will be hated for it, but to use His Word as a sword of truth.

Johnny didn't even want to be here. He's admitted to it in a video on somebody else's channel.
Its always like that. People are denial, don't want to heear the truth.
He said the Bible is to be accepted not be understood? So don’t question and just accept? 😭
Equating homosexuality with viral/bacterial infections was/is absolutely disgusting.
@@victorvargas9330 he was comparing sin to a virus, and since homosexuality is considered a sin that’s how he was explaining it. Basically whatever is in your environment affects you. And if it’s a sinful nature you will continue to repeat those sins. BTW I’m just explaining what he said since you twisted his words.
Johnny is such a calming presence in the episode.
For real. Even though we disagree id love to talk to the guy.
ikr? they've had him on a few other episodes and he's such a cool guy!
@@ava1772which other videos has he been on?? I’ll watch them now 😭
Watch his interview in Soft White Underbelly. His mind is fascinating.
He is stunning, I would read the Bible for him for sure
I have a lot of respect for Johnny for taking this seriously and for not laughing at the suggestive jokes others said to lighten the mood
Frr
It’s okay to have some fun and joke especially in conversations like these, helps ease any tension
nah if they make a blasphemous joke then dont laugh@@cs5502
Exactly, the jokes were perverse and uncomfortable
@@elleddianaI thought that was just the Jake guy doing it.
"what made y'all ex-christians?" "from reading the bible" that sent me over the edge! 😂
