Literally in Tears! I saw him all the time on TikTok but I never stopped because honestly he doesn’t look like me (honest moment). I was raised in the church and I never heard these two things. 1. It’s not about understanding it’s about acceptance 2. His explanation of thoughts and being born into sin- we know that but the correlation to emptiness is so powerful! As someone who grew up in South Central L.A, family in Compton and was going to school in East L.A back in the 90s I can testify that 12yrs old is definitely the age to recruit. I was exposed to so much. I definitely see now why my family moved to a 360° different environment in Minnesota, God definitely had greater purpose for me. Not an easy purpose but definitely not what Johnny went thru and still can relate to him so much. Glory be to God!!

Mannnnnn, this episode really touched my heart. My brother shared a similar past (gangs, stealing, drive-bye's, women) prison life and abandoning his three daughters to be raised by our mom. He carries so much guilt from the choices he has made. He "found" Jesus when he was in prison and came out on fire for Jesus then sadly he ended up back in prison partly because of the legal system but when he went back to prison the church left him high & dry now he has so much church hurt. BTY, he's out of prison, working, drug free but with a broken heart and burdened with so much guilt. I pray for him but is there anything else I can do to try to help him, encourage him and assure him of the love of God, the blood that was shed for his sins and that we just live in a very broken world. I'm no better than him and I have my struggles too, I just don't want to come off preachy, my heart is just heavy for him. All I keep getting from him is, "don't trip sis, I'm good." Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Johnny & Lecrae for this podcast and yes a beautiful come back story. Thank you JESUS, for all that you are & all that you do!!

Honestly this makes me so emotional. So many of the men in my family live these lives. God saved me and I've been praying for my family for 20 years. This is so inspirational. God can do anything and save anyone!!
This testimony was so powerful! I'm praying it changes my walk, and discipleship. God used that Korean pastor and translator to not only bless pastor Johnny, but so many others through this testimony, by God"s power, through his explanation of the Gospel and how to apply it to ALL of our lives. Mannnnnn, this episode really touched my heart. My brother shared a similar past (gangs, stealing, drive-bye's, women) prison life and abandoning his three daughters to be raised by our mom. He carries so much guilt from the choices he has made. He "found" Jesus when he was in prison and came out on fire for Jesus then sadly he ended up back in prison partly because of the legal system but when he went back to prison the church left him high & dry now he has so much church hurt. BTY, he's out of prison, working, drug free but with a broken heart and burdened with so much guilt. I pray for him but is there anything else I can do to try to help him, encourage him and assure him of the love of God, the blood that was shed for his sins and that we just live in a very broken world. I'm no better than him and I have my struggles too, I just don't want to come off preachy, my heart is just heavy for him. All I keep getting from him is, "don't trip sis, I'm good." Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Johnny & Lecrae for this podcast and yes a beautiful come back story. Thank you JESUS, for all that you are & all that you do!!

Anyone know that preacher name? Wow the way broke everything down . Im speechless wow. His testimony 🙌🏼. When God said he left the 99 to find the 1 that is lost wow. Being from California I could've easily ended up in Jail or died. Im blessed my parents moved us to GA in that time in our lives.
