I totally agree, fist heard his testimony on the 'soft white underbelly' RUclips page and even there his testimony really stood out for me. He is for sure backed by the Holy Spirit. God has really been good to him and am glad he is testifying for God.

My older brother was a leader of an Asian gang & he came to Christ. He tragically lost his life in a horrific car accident. Johnny‘s personality & testimony reminds me so much of my late brother. I was just thinking on commenting the very same things about the pastor who came alongside this amazing young man. I wish in retrospect, that I had had that guidance and explanation when I became a Christian-- nothing was really explained, only that I should repeat the sinners prayer. Working it out for myself only really kicked in when reading the bible, especially Romans. Unfortunately, many Christians are given a sinner’s prayer to recite and it is tacitly understood that now you will become a regular church-goer. However, if one’s faith is directed mainly to church going and doing good deeds, something will appear to be lacking after a while. Do you know what I mean? This testimony blessed me to the core… I am thinking of trying to type out the whole thing because that pastor gave the most extraordinary and blessed instruction on what it truly means to be a Christian. Has a book been written with this testimony in it? Anyone know?
@@jenniferevans2046 Jennifer, I felt the same way after watching the video. I told a friend yesterday that I didn't understand Romans 5, 6 and 7 until I listened to this testimony. God used the Pastor and brother Johnny to open my eyes to the truth of the gospel. Many of us thought that Jesus died to save us from sins (the fruits of unrighteousness), but the Scripture is emphatic that He was made sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). John the Baptist introduced Him as the Lamb of God who took away the SIN of the world (John 1:29). Because some of us don't understand the difference between sin as a nature (which Jesus dealt with on the cross), and sins as fruits of unrighteousness, we can applaud ourselves when we no longer commit obvious sins like adultery, fornication, abortion etc, but gloss over less obvious ones like gossip, malice, slander and unforgiveness. Honestly I haven't read any book that has presented the gospel in this light.

I'm 23 and have been an atheist for most of my life. I went through bad and sad moments where I thought that my life had no point in living, I wanted to end it. but God called me and I responded, I entrusted myself to him and in him I found love, support and hope. Whatever situation you guys are going through, don't give up. god is with you.
Yeah exactly there is nothing like its too late for repent to get salvation we have the best example the good thief who get his salvation when he is just couple hours of entering eternal hell he nay not ever read or know anything about Bible God words and no time to live as christian or getting baptist he straight accept Christ in his heart and believe straight away he will defeat death and rise up to enter heavenly kingdom.. First let all of your own thoughts about the son be crucified at the cross. No attempt of ours will EVER save a person. Our old self has die to produce fruit that lasts eternally.
Just said a prayer for your son, that many more would be raised up as prayer warriors for him. I’m personally seeing the power of prayer in my daughter’s life. When I tell her that there’s a father who loves her beyond any love she could ever imagine, she still says, “ I’m not sure about that,” but she’d have to be totally oblivious to not see his hand on her life. She went from raging everyday to the point that her dad and I felt we needed to lock our doors at night and having to be hospitalized for her own suicidal thoughts to finally being at peace. Not an overnight process to be sure. Part of Gods plan in getting her here was moving across the country. Not everyday is perfect, but I believe he’s leading her on a path that directs towards him. She will still have to decide if that’s what she wants, but don’t underestimate the power of prayer in making those opportunities more abundant and clear. ❤ Anyway, I want to encourage you and say that I understand your struggle. Keep up the good work.
Thank you Brother. You told my testimony. I went to Prison at 17 and until I was 48 I was in and out Gangbanging drug's and etc.etc. I finally found hope in God and Jesus Christ. I did accept year's ago to change my ways but I was always pulled back into the craziness. But i fell short of God's and Jesus Christ glory. Now I'm beginning to understand a little bit better.and I'm still falling short of their glory. Im not running away anymore. Im tired of fighting the wrong fight. Im fighting for a chance at life with God and Jesus Christ my savior and Holy spirit.. I won't lose this battle cause I have them at my side cheering me on righteously.. Again Thank you Brother.. This is a false gospel. Johnny denies repentance and claims sin is some random force inside of us that we have no control over which is heresy. Who wouldn’t want a gospel where you don’t have to be responsible for sin? This is not what Jesus taught

I’m 32 years old and grew up in church as a Christian but this man taught me something today. I struggle with my thoughts day in and day out. satan has won many battles with twisting what’s in my mind and making me believe it. Today this man taught me that I don’t haven’t to believe those thoughts because that’s what satan WANTS and that’s not of God at all. My thoughts are sinful. Lord forgive me and help me to repent for the thoughts I allowed satan to make me believe. Thank you for your grace and mercy and giving me another chance.

I was just thinking on commenting the very same things about the pastor who came alongside this amazing young man. I wish in retrospect, that I had had that guidance and explanation when I became a Christian-- nothing was really explained, only that I should repeat the sinners prayer. Working it out for myself only really kicked in when reading the bible, especially Romans. Unfortunately, many Christians are given a sinner’s prayer to recite and it is tacitly understood that now you will become a regular church-goer. However, if one’s faith is directed mainly to church going and doing good deeds, something will appear to be lacking after a while. Do you know what I mean? This testimony blessed me to the core… I am thinking of trying to type out the whole thing because that pastor gave the most extraordinary and blessed instruction on what it truly means to be a Christian. Has a book been written with this testimony in it? Anyone know?
@@jenniferevans2046 Jennifer, I felt the same way after watching the video. I told a friend yesterday that I didn't understand Romans 5, 6 and 7 until I listened to this testimony. God used the Pastor and brother Johnny to open my eyes to the truth of the gospel. Many of us thought that Jesus died to save us from sins (the fruits of unrighteousness), but the Scripture is emphatic that He was made sin on our behalf, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God (2 Corinthians 5:21). John the Baptist introduced Him as the Lamb of God who took away the SIN of the world (John 1:29). Because some of us don't understand the difference between sin as a nature (which Jesus dealt with on the cross), and sins as fruits of unrighteousness, we can applaud ourselves when we no longer commit obvious sins like adultery, fornication, abortion etc, but gloss over less obvious ones like gossip, malice, slander and unforgiveness. Honestly I haven't read any book that has presented the gospel in this light.

First let all of your own thoughts about the son be crucified at the cross. No attempt of ours will EVER save a person. Our old self has die to produce fruit that lasts eternally.

Just said a prayer for your son, that many more would be raised up as prayer warriors for him. I’m personally seeing the power of prayer in my daughter’s life. When I tell her that there’s a father who loves her beyond any love she could ever imagine, she still says, “ I’m not sure about that,” but she’d have to be totally oblivious to not see his hand on her life. She went from raging everyday to the point that her dad and I felt we needed to lock our doors at night and having to be hospitalized for her own suicidal thoughts to finally being at peace. Not an overnight process to be sure. Part of Gods plan in getting her here was moving across the country.
Not everyday is perfect, but I believe he’s leading her on a path that directs towards him. She will still have to decide if that’s what she wants, but don’t underestimate the power of prayer in making those opportunities more abundant and clear. ❤
Anyway, I want to encourage you and say that I understand your struggle. Keep up the good work.

I did accept year's ago to change my ways but I was always pulled back into the craziness. But i fell short of God's and Jesus Christ glory. Now I'm beginning to understand a little bit better.and I'm still falling short of their glory. Im not running away anymore. Im tired of fighting the wrong fight. Im fighting for a chance at life with God and Jesus Christ my savior and Holy spirit.. I won't lose this battle cause I have them at my side cheering me on righteously.. Again Thank you Brother.. I’m 32 years old and grew up in church as a Christian but this man taught me something today. I struggle with my thoughts day in and day out. satan has won many battles with twisting what’s in my mind and making me believe it. Today this man taught me that I don’t haven’t to believe those thoughts because that’s what satan WANTS and that’s not of God at all. My thoughts are sinful. Lord forgive me and help me to repent for the thoughts I allowed satan to make me believe. Thank you for your grace and mercy and giving me another chance.

@@stepstoknowinggod you are right obviously but one thing i do come to realise is that some preachers pastor at church do focus on Bible and overfocus society/politics/should and should not over jesus cruucifixing humanity sins on cross.. Its easy to want jesus for a person who fell hard and deep enough to truely want jesus than people who done great deeds but expecting some personal benefit or getting praise for it
