I think your testimony could be a movie too. Seriously, without even hearing it, I know it would move me. It reminds me of what Revelations says, that they will overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb and the words of their testimony. Testimony is so important and your testimony as has power.

As an Asian man who grew up in LA in the 90’s and experienced the exact same things Choby did in regards to being around the triads and also being saved by God, it’s like life coming full circle.
Never would I have though I would hear someone say their dai lo (big brother/boss) is Jesus. It’s hard to put into words what that means but when you’re in that culture and lifestyle, it’s just something you “get.”
His story gave me flashbacks to many days and nights of violence and anxiety and just depraved living.
I actually left that lifestyle and ended up on the completely opposite spectrum hanging around rockers on Sunset Blvd in West Hollywood doing drugs and drinking and things of that nature. Then I moved to Las Vegas and got caught up in the lifestyle here until God led me to a church after multiple DUI’s and I was baptized and born again.
God really is true and good, but hearing Choby’s story just brought back so many memories and an almost prior life that I lived growing up in in high school and college.
Thanks Choby for your testimony. God really has no limit to where He can reach to bring people to Him. I praise His name for working in your life.

Thank you Choby, I was saved 31 yrs ago by a gospel tract. I could read but, also I was dislexic, and I was a drugged drunken idiot and knew nothing of God at all. When I read the tract it just made a ton of sense and my life changed. No one could understand dude you don't want to drink or get high huh. So your testimony made me cry because Jesus is incredible, what he does with people like us from absolutely nothing, and changes us into a swan from an ugly ducking. I praise our savior for your testimony it just gives me more strength to witness and study. There is no such thing as get saved, being saved in Greek is an infinitive Gods elect were always saved they are saved and they are being saved! Later a man who is his own father comes along, walks on water, cures people and even raises the dead, but nobody mentions it until 70 years after he dies and even then only by 4 people who want you to believe the story.
Then a senile old man who is exiled on an island surrounded with psychoactive flora writes a very trippy book about a seven-headed monster.

Choby's story is same like mine, im involve in a Gang, but God lift me out in that situation, im currently in the process of change, its really hard to quit in gang, but God made it happen. Now im a musician in the church, and my friends are like confused, because im now sharing my stories to them on how God changed me, and currently changing my life. I am also about to start persuing my college in God's Grace. From a Gang member to a Man of God. Thank you Jesus!

I was dyslexic /learning disabilities. I felt like Choby was actually describing me as he was recounting his life when he was of school going age. I was fearful of authorities too - it was my mom who had an anger issue. I would get beaten by her badly for anything and everything..There were no kind words...but Praise God He has healed me, and I love the Lord coz he saved me too from death...Thank you brother Choby for your testimony. My mother is mentally disabled. My sister is also but not as bad as our mother. My parents would constantly threaten me with getting me tested because I was "stupid". Everyone in my family made jokes that I should've been a blonde. I grew up a abusive household. It wasn't that I was slow, but it was the fact that i had no confidence in myself between the abuse and anxiety. I appreciate this testimony so much. I'm still working through. It took me a while to understand that God loved me and needed those people to be my family to make me who I am. Praise to God that my father is saved and i no longer have to deal with my stepmother or other hateful family members. I just pray and smile. Whatever issues they have can be conquered with love.

Thanks for your testimony bro, I'm 29 years old at the moment and started at college last year and it is still difficult for me. I went by a girl who can't speak, had learning disability. I was called lame and disabled. There is nothing impossible to God. Now God uses me to share the gospel. Thank you Jesus. This is so powerful, the way he asked God to help him read in order to learn The word. We truly have no excuse to avoid reading it. Being able to read is such a blessing, it makes it easier to avoid false preachers and wrong interpretation. It gives you wisdom and knowledge. To God be the glory.

Hi Choby!! I’m from Malaysia too but spent the last 10 years living in New Zealand - I used to live one neighbourhood away from Mangere (Onehunga) in Auckland - lived there for 2 years. I was also born in a small town in southern Kedah, located about 1 hour from Penang, and my mum’s side family is also from Penang too. Seems like you’ve been to places where I’ve also been to. Also praise God for your testimony, I saw it on my RUclips feed as I was scrolling and I felt the Lord prompting me to watch your testimony and I was so encouraged by it❤ God bless you and may he continue to use you to change lives around you

I was just talking about how I had been tested by the gangs too and I chose Jesus. Also my mom told me the same advice. Also I was led to Ywam and years after I left I was given a dream to return. That is sooo wonderful to hear about our precious brother Chobby's adoption into our family of God!! God can transform anyone with His powerful love and healing and grace!! Wow, so very inspiring to hear about another person that our Good Shepherd pursues with love however long it takes to bring His lost lamb home! I think Chobby's mother prayed for he and his father and her prayers were heard too!
