I love that these type of testimonies are being shared during Pride Month. Not as a way to condemn those who are still in the LGBTQ lifestyle, but as a way to show that it is possible for God to deliver you. There's such a stigma around stories like these as though it's "impossible" to come out of the life, but it's not. @@racquelrocha8150 I'm confused by your comment. Who was condemning anyone? You're right in that it is not in God's will to see anyone perish, however, salvation is a gift AND a choice. People choose their flesh over faith and therefore choose to perish in that way.

I’m a little short of half way through this video and already I know that the Lord wanted me to watch this testimony. I struggle with lust and with my feelings of same sex attraction. I’ve lived an openly gay lifestyle for the past 3 years of my life, gave my life to Jesus about 7 months ago, and still this is one of the hardest most confusing sins that I’m beginning to understand. It’s deep and it’s not only a struggle for unbelievers but a struggle for believers and he touched on this point really well. It’s in part one of the reasons why I don’t speak up and share my testimonies because I feel this spirit of rejection/ whisper of the devil telling me everyone is going to change on you and not see your sin as sin but see you as the sin.
Please pray for me. I know that my testimony will help many people but I don’t always have the strength and the faith to share it because of fear. I trust God to help me and I know that the power of the gospel is the only reason I haven’t turned back to the world. I’m 22 and I never thought this could ever be my life and yet here I am. Choosing God instead of being gay has given me an indescribable amount of peace and joy because I know that I have salvation and the Lord has given me knowledge of where I’m going when I die. I am praying with you and for you my brother in Christ. Keep praying fasting and reading the word of God. It will get easier as you keep moving forward in God. Just know that you have sisters and brothers in Christ that love you and have your back in prayer. We have more then 2 gates mind is definitely one renewing our mind's and heart's daily holding captive to unclean thoughts making them obedient to Christ Jesus casting them down. Wow Jesus loves us through new testament must be daily getting dressed with spiritual armour daily and submitting not my will your will I'm still learning to let go of worthless thing's brother it's a process....learning to go closer to the Father through his son. I want you to know something important. Your testimony is POWER it can break down walls, it can make a way where others don't see it. Satan is a liar an wants you to feel like you are nothing, but you are EVERYTHING to LORD Jesus Christ, He is madly in love with you so much so He gave His life for you. LORD Jesus Christ has given you POWER and its the Holy Spirit in you, stand firm, fear nothing for LORD Jesus Christ has over come the world, He has already won. The victory is given to us who believe in Him and His finished work.

This testimony had me choked up all throughout. I’m straight, but have always had a deep connection with the lgbt community. I see pieces of myself in all of your testimonies. I hope one day other Christians can learn that they’ll never be able to share the gospel to this community by judgement and condemnation, but by love and compassion.

I was delivered from “gay community” over 40 years ago. I am 61. The church needs lots of schooling on how to treat this issue and people coming into church from this community. I haven’t get back to church for a long time and it basically destroyed me some of the things that happened and some of the ways that I’ve been treated in church isthat knew my testimony but I’ve been free for 40 years and I love Jesus with all my heart.
Your family sounds awesome. I need that.

@@Timic83tcn’t give up. You are loved. God knows your name, your innermost heart. Quit focusing on gay or straightness. You cannot compare your situation with anyone else. You are you. God will meet you where you are and lead you by the hand. Focus on Christ’s life, His sacrifice, His love. Let Christ define who you are and not the world. Christ has graven you on the palms of His hands, He has purchased you. These are truths you start with. And end with. In the process He will make you into what He wants you to be, but be patient. Be kind to yourself. Stay close to Him through prayer. Stay close to Him by regularly reading His “pre-recorded” voice (aka, the scriptures) and internalizing His doctrine love and mercy into your heart. I love how Luiz says it, to let your desires become His desires. I promise you it’s worth it!
As long as you are pointed in the right direction, always facing Him, trying the best you can, you will not go to Hell. God is not like that. He’s not a middle-ages vindictive God, but one of perfect Love. He will not force you to come unto Him or be in a place you cannot abide, but He will take you from where you are and bring you another step closer to Him. The God I know is not eager to damn His children, but to save. His work and glory is to bring you into a fullness of joy. He is working in you right now, this very moment.

My son, nephew and cousin are apart of the lgbtq community and I have a nephew who died of aids at 23 years old. I pray all the time , lead with love, and believe it’s a heart thing but nothing has changed and I had given up praying for them. This restored my hope thank u so much for sharing your testimony ❤

I went to a gay club first the first time months before with someone who unfortunately passed away in the Pulse shooting. It was me, my best friend at the time, my friend who passed away and his brother. We were celebrating his birthday, I was in the middle of getting to know the Lord at during this time but I still decided to go to the club (not pulse but another gay club) because I always desired going clubbing, that life looked fun. When I went it just made me feel slightly anxious and I lowkey felt like I wasn’t pleasing the Lord doing this but I was so early on in my faith. Few weeks later I got mad at both friends because I felt she was distancing from me and getting closer to our friend that passed away. I was very hurt and felt excluded from that friendship. Then the day of the shooting came, I had remember seeing my friend post on Snapchat that he was at a club. The next morning I wake up to see the news of what had taken place and run to check his Snapchat again and he had stopped posting earlier that night, I wondered if he was at that club. I text my best friend and say Hey were you at the club? Do you know if Omar went? And I can’t remember if she replied or if I seen on the TV that he had passed away, but sadly it was confirmed. She wasn’t there with him because a family member had passed away and she went to go visit family up north, her life was spared!!! Because her and our friend who passed at Pulse were almost inseparable. I was so shook that he had not made it out of the club. I was so shook that she wasn’t there with him, I was so grateful she was safe and at the same time heartbroken to hear he was not. Years later, I often think of how Lord spared her life and wonder about her (we no longer have contact) and how if I hadn’t gotten into that fight with her at that time… I really feel like I would have been there with him and her and who knows if me and her would have also died. I just think wow Lord, I don’t know your plan for my life but you do and I just want to be close to you forever🙌🥺 thank you for your testimony!

As someone who also struggled with same sex attraction and also loving God, us Christians are called to love everyone. You don't have to accept the life style, but be a testimony to them through your love and lifestyle. God delivered me from those attractions and thoughts! Praise Jesus! We need to love everyone! 15:50 when you commented on the culture of today ‘it’s okay to have heterosexual sins hidden but homosexual sins are not okay’ (or something to that effect) I felt that !!! So many young Christians today are having premarital sex while judging homosexuals. reminds me of one of Jesus’ lessons about focusing on the speck of dust in your brother’s eye but ignoring the plank in your own eye !
Amen! Been saying that for years! ❤ One of my first jobs was side by side with a gay man. After about a year he wrote me to tell me that I was the truest Christian he had ever met. I didn’t get it back then but it’s because gay people know when you are impartial and just trying to love people to Jesus and show them he died for the sins of all of us and we are all struggling with something … Some sins are open for all to see and others are hidden… but we are ALL exposed to the eyes of him with we must give account. ❤ This is a sanctified testimony for Jesus Christ! This is actually my older brother and this testimony is my favorite! I love what God is doing in his life and feel blessed for all the people who are touched by what God is doing in his life.
Thank you for this testimony! My heart was so moved for the incident at the Pulse night club. I prayed a lot for the incident. And know I understand better what was on God's Heart and what He was moving me to do. Also, currently serving in the Army National Guard too. Love seeing soldiers come to Christ!
Great understanding imparted in your testimony..I pray many will hear this..I have a friend who left his female wife and two children for a relationship with a homosexual man.. His family made it clear as Baptist Christians that they were not approving but did continue to invite him to church and prayed for him for years..He has accepted Jesus who died for all our sins and was delivered from his same sex desire and has remarried his wife and reunited with his children!!!

I’m so excited for you brother cause of the work Jesus is doing in your life and in your ministry. I’m a 65 year old man with a tumultuous history of same sex behavior and everything else that goes with it. But now I have been a Devout Christian for about 13 years, however, but not without its real struggles. I’ve lived the last years pretty much isolated except for when I work. I bawled my eyes out absolutely heartbreaking what happened that night and to hear a lot of people turned their back on him kills me. But there will always be people that love and care about you and who are behind you
Imperfections are part of being human. Even Jesus, who only spoke the truth, faced beatings and torture. This highlights the flawed nature of humanity and emphasizes the need for a Savior -Lord Jesus Christ. His story teaches us that despite the trials he endured, Jesus never abandoned him.
I need to repent from my attitude. I vividly remember seeing on the news that tragic incident. I also remember seeing the signs of 'judgment' being held up by people who called themselves Christians. What I can't recall, is me having any feelings of compassion towards those affected. And for that, I am sorry Lord. I am ashamed of what type of Christian I was. But I think this is my season of growth, and God wants me to be a better Representative of his kingdom.

I've always wondered what ever happened to Luis, especially when I first heard of him those years ago. The fact that God told not one but 3 people of what was happening in vision and 2 people that something was to happen proves God protects and warns not only us but others around us. I, too struggle with SSA and I even deal with the thoughts. I thank Him for my community from church, strong men who really want what's best for me. I'm also happy to hear your testimony, Luis, because it is and will be an encouragement to many out there.
I don’t know Luis but I love him. I thought I had a good testimony about my criminal and drug addiction background but it doesn’t compare to his. I know it’s not a competition and we all have our own stories but his is such a powerful one and he’s really good at talking and sharing it. I pray God continues to bless him because it certainly looks like God has been very active in his life for a long time
I agree that this testimony was/is POWERFUL but yours is just as powerful because 1. You acknowledge and recognize that it was/is God moving in your life. 2. Whatever God does is POWERFUL because He did it. Tell/give your testimony to give praise, honor and glory to God for His grace and mercy that He has bestowed upon you your entire existence. I live in Orlando and I ride by this place often. It’s just a memorial now. When it happened it was a total shock I was just in shocked mode for that whole week and just lost in silence. It felt like it was unreal. And a girl I worked with said she was supposed to go that night to the pulse Night club and I was in total shock Oh how God protected her and she couldn’t even realize.

Amen ! These ex homosexual lifestyle testimonies are so powerful. It’s given me wisdom, understanding & how to minister and love those who are struggling with this. One of my closets childhood friends is in this lifestyle.

But we could go back & forth on that topic, because just like hetero people don’t choose to love opposite sex the same applies to gay people. I’m currently de transitioning and i feel so free from dysphoria and the tear between my family and i and a lot of my friends didn’t understand and i continue to talk to them about Yahweh and its still a struggle with my sexuality and been working on no longer labeling myself but to come to my father, its all in just giving up the labels and accepting the hug of our lord..i pray that teens like me will understand this and come to him as i have amen 🤍

😭😭😭Not sure where to start. This was both heartbreaking to hear what people go through with same sex attractions. I have known so many homosexual friends that I have loved as people and also felt torn with God’s word and how to minister. I can see why they would flock to a group in search of unconditional love. It seems unfair but Satan doesn’t play fair. We have GOT to do better as believers in loving and praying for all struggling. Thank you for sharing this powerful testimony.
