Trying to teach my son's to park, and all of the videos - except this one - are overly complicated. I told my sons that I learned a simple 3 or so step method and I've been looking for that method online. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment. We try to simplify the topics in all our videos, and we're so glad to hear you found it helpful! Best wishes with your sons' driving lessons.
This is the BEST and easiest video about parallel parking I came across during the last 2 years. Moreover, the way of your teaching is excellent. Thank you very much for your help. Kind regards From India
You give great physical “markers” one could actually gauge to assist in parallel parking. My cars “hub-caps” thank you profusely 🥳. Thank you for this awesome video.
My notion is, 'hurry the freak up and get in the flipping spot'...It generally takes me between 7 & 15 seconds (I'm in a rush, but not enough to have a lead foot on either the gas & brake because I actually bond with my vehicle to care for it that I want to keep it as long as possible; lol). It's easier to parallel park in smaller vehicles over larger vehicles, and larger vehicles you simply have to know when to cut your loses and walk that extra block...lol...
I have had trouble with parallel parking myself. Hope the following will help someone out there: 1. Drive up your car next to and 3 feet away from car #2. 2. Pull up until you see the LEFT rear corner of car #2 in the small triangle window of yr right, back door. 3. Turn your steering wheel ONE full turn to the RIGHT. 4. Back your car until you see the LICENSE PLATE of car #2 IN THE MIDDLE of your passenger window. 5. Turn your steering wheel ALL THE WAY to the LEFT and back your car in. Hope this help you overcome the fear of parallel parking.
@@JimiMoso. I just transcribed YOUR instructions in YOUR video so that student drivers could print them for reference in their car when they practice parking. They cannot remember everything you said in your video. Hope this has cleared up any misunderstanding. Thanks for posting your video. It's the best one I came across.
Hi can we follow exactly the same instructions (except switch directions) if parking on the left side? Or are there any differences for instance in terms of using the license plate gauge etc?
it may sound stupid but what if my car is not a coupe but a sedan with 4 doors? Which window then should I look for a plate, front passenger's seat or the rear one?
Very good video, i have a question: if the place is narrower should I use this method and turn the steering wheel one turn and then do some adjustments or should I turn the steering wheel more than one turn for example 1 and 1/4 turn to make the angle narrower
@@jasonvelez-pico6254 It's understandable. It's driving anxiety. When you go to test again, it may help to pretend the inspectors isn't there and drive as you normally would. You'll ace it. Best wishes and keep us posted.
This is so much easier than all the other explanation videos I’ve seen. Thank you! I hope I pass tomorrow!
Thanks for the comment. Best wishes on your exam tomorrow. Let us know if you pass! 👍
This is one of the clearest explanations I've seen. Good job!
thank you!!!

K Ng, thanks for the tips but I believe your explanation can be applied in some cases and not all. This is the reason parallel parking is challenging.
Love this tips

What program did you use to make this video?
I use multiple programs depending on task at hand. Any 3D software can accomplish the same result.
Thanks I I take mine in 6 hours when I wake up
Can you make a version for LHT users? xd
What if I just ....mirror this video?
Yeah we could probably mirror and flip the text. Good idea.
What videogame is it?
Sorry - it's 3D animation, not a game. :-)
@@JimiMoso oh then nicely and profesionally done! 😊
Road test in a couple hours
How'd it go? Hope you passed.
Jimi Moso I failed :( we’ll get em next time
@@jasonvelez-pico6254 Sorry to hear. What was the hardest point in the test? Maybe I can make another video, depending.
I stopped too frequently at places where there weren’t any stops
