@@pamelamiller5600what a coincidence, I have mine today at 3 😂😅
I passed my road test on the first try because of this video! I kept rewatching it over and over. Thank you so much. It was very helpful.
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeesssssss! Congrats on passing, what a huge achievement! Thanks so much for your kind words 👍👍
Wish me luckk
Good to know my son is going Friday hope he does as well
This gives me hope too
But my question is on the 45 degrees sterling, how do I know it’s now 45 degrees?
I am not the most coordinated person, but watching this video many times and practicing these steps helped me parallel park perfectly the drive test. I couldn't believe it! This video was the reason why. Thanks Jay!
Woot woot! CONGRATS on passing and thank you for sharing! So glad the video helped!
Best parallel park video on the entire internet and yes I have checked all videos on parallel parking on youtube lol
Wow, that's a great compliment. Thank you!
I would love to thank you Jay for this amazing lesson. I paid for 6 lesson at my driving school and failed the parallel parking mainly because I never control the car on my own to align beside the car hence I started looking a day before my road test. I watched this video constantly over and over and when I did enough hand motion practice like I was actually in a car. I gained enough confidence I needed plus I spent additional money to borrow the car
I PASS with your help it was straight forward
Thank you so much again
Thank you so much, that means a lot! CONGRATS to you on your success and hope you have a safe new year!!
Thank you so much! You are my teacher.
Wow, I am so humbled by your recognition and kind words! Congrats again to you on passing your test, and thank you again for the support!! We are beyond grateful 🙏🙏
My test is tomorrow!! Thank you and Godbless you guys and keep you .

This is the best parallel parking video I’ve seen. I tried for hours following the instructions from other videos and couldn’t get it, then I watched this and got it first try. Thank you!
Glad it helped!! Thanks for the support!
i love the way you guys explained this. makes so much more sense. i failed my drivers test specifically because of parallel parking but this techinque looks very simple and helpful and i will try it out when i redo my driving test!

Hello,
We find tons of videos about parallel parking on RUclips.
But, trust me this one is THE BEST! The visual reference point for 45 degree angle and backing up straight works just amazing!
Followed this method, practiced it just one day before the test and got passed my road test easily.
Thank you so much for the video.
Whoever is preparing for their road test, please follow this method and you will pass yours easily. All the best!

I’ve been driving for 51 years. I’ve never had a problem parallel parking until a few weeks ago. (No clue what caused the change.) Your video was the most clear of the many videos I’ve watched the last couple of days. Now to go out and practice.
Nice, thanks for sharing your story - so interesting how things change over time! Please let us know how the practice goes, stay safe out there!!
I lost my driving skills because I allowed my husband to drive for me Wish I had kept it up seems lost my confidence in parking so the more I watch these videos I think it will work but with the volume of traffic parked not very easy we only see these video instructions on quiet road situations
@@milels6917 Hello! Thanks for sharing, hang in there! I know the videos show "easy" parking situations in low traffic areas, but that's where we recommend you practice fine-tuning your parking skills before you try to do it on a busy street with lots of traffic speeding by. Once you've got the hang of it on these quiet streets, then venture out to the busier streets and practice there. Thanks for watching and please stay safe out there!
I passed my road test because of this vedio ! I rewatch again and again. This is the best . The way you explained its amazing. . Thank you so much ! ..God bless

Wow!!! This is the easiest steps i watched! Thank you Sir!
Thank you and appreciate you so much for watching!!
Interesting, I've also seen many lessons where they do full right until lock, tail light of parked car visible through passenger side window, then full turn left until lock. However, I think that's for a tighter fit. I'll add in the straight reverse like you did for the larger parking spots during my drivers' ed and see.
Thanks for sharing! There is definitely more than one way to get the job done, ultimately you'll use what works best for you and your car given the parking situation. Please let us know how it goes!

Ya in pentiction Canada
Hello from Los Angeles, CA - glad we could help!
Excellent teaching method! Thank you Jay!
Thank you so much!! 🙏🏽
I probably wouldn't need help if my parking spaces were that huge, but I appreciate the video. Do you have any reference points I can use if I want to parallel park on the driver's side? Stuff like the back window obviously won't work that way.
Thank you in advance.
Thanks for the feedback! While we don't encounter driver's-side parallel parking situations in the US as often - only on one-way streets - the basic concepts are still the same. However, instead of the right-straight-left technique you would use left-straight-right technique. The 45-degree reference point still applies, and you can also use the "mirror trick" as a visual reference point as well. Some of the other reference points would obviously change, and we'll have to look into making a separate video for that in the future. Great question and thanks for watching!
@@DriversEdDirect Thank you, your answer is much appreciated & I'm looking forward to the video!
I also feel like judging the front when you're about to tuck yourself in can be quite a bit harder if the car in front of you is facing you instead of facing away from you - especially when it has a low, long front as opposed to the often flat and shorter or higher rear.
Thank you so much. I really need this video..
Thank you for watching! 🙏🏽
Great techniques here

Please Dear instructor I did not know one part in your video about the parallel parking.
When you get it mirror to mirror.
You come directly without any changes on steering wheel.
Until where?I mean Where Do you stop?
How do you compare your car with reference car?
THANK YOU VERY MUCH DEAR SIR.
Hello! Do you mean after your have cleared the car in front of you and are backing into the space, when do you stop? Every situation will be a little different depending on how much room you have, but you back up very slowly until you are parallel to the curb - make sure to use your ride-side mirror to gauge how close you are to the curb. You can even tilt your mirror down a little bit to get a better view of the curb. Also, don't forget about the car behind you and make sure you don't hit that car either. Not sure if that is what you were asking, but hope it helps!
@@DriversEdDirect thank you very much dear instructor.
I mean when bring the car mirror to mirror.
Second back up directly without steering where Do you stopt?,then turn the wheel all the way to the right.
Thank you very much dear sir.
@@DriversEdDirect I mean dear instructor after mirror to mirror, first where Do you stop?
That is my question dear sir.

@@DriversEdDirect .
I watched you videos many times that helped me very much.
But you do not show mirror to mirror in your video when miror to mirror, then you come directly after that where Do you stop?after that you bring changes on the steering ,1wheel turn the steering wheel all the way to the right.
2 straighten steering wheel.
3 turn the steering wheel all the way to the left.
But one point I do not know.
after mirror to mirror in which position or place Do you stop your car ?
Thank you very much appreciate it very much dear instructor.
I hope you understand my question.
Just failed my driver’s exam bc of parallel parking. It would be so much more helpful to actually parallel park on a street and not in a parking lot with cones set up for several exercises it was very confusing. Ty for the video, very helpful.
Sorry to hear that, totally understand that it can be confusing... Even though the mechanics are the same, the visual reference points are definitely different when you are parking between 2 cones vs 2 cars. Keep practicing and you'll get there! Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
I was thinking the same while watching this....the points of reference are great for real life but how do you reference between cones/poles for the test?
Didn’t they train you with cones first???
I think street would be more challenging but more rewarding
Asses smog situation right straight left exact move exact steering angle
Thanks Rahul!
Are you available to give lesson ? I watch your videos and it helos so much.
Hello Phylis! i have the road test this sunday i effl nerviouse
Hi Inday, it's okay and perfectly natural to be a bit nervous before your road test - it shows you actually care about the test, which is a good thing! Acknowledge your nerves, but also acknowledge the fact that you've been practicing a lot and working hard at your driving skills. On Sunday, when it's time to take your test, have confidence in yourself and trust in all of the preparation you have done thus far. Take a deep breath and then show the examiner the best driving version of yourself. You got this Inday! Let us know how it goes!
@@DriversEdDirect thanks you a lots hopefully I make it's 🙏
Thank you so much for this video! I got my driver’s license about 2 weeks ago and today I decided to do the parallel parking. I did it in two attempts because the first time the mirror of my car was too close to the mirror of the other car, so I made sure for the second time to keep 3 ft away and it worked!
Wow, we are so happy to hear that it worked for you after only two tries! Awesome job by YOU and thank you for sharing your driving journey with us!!!
Really good. Thanks Jay
My pleasure! Thank you for the support!!
Great teaching sir jake
Thank you!!
1. Right turn signal on
2. Align beside the parked car, 3 ft away
3. Do smog, reverse gear and turn ALL the way to right
4. Stop when divider btwn ur front and back window blocks the other cars left back light
5. Straighten the wheel (2 turns)
6. Stop until parked cars license plate is in middle of ur passenger window
7. Turn wheel ALL to the left and reverse
8. When parallel to curb, straighten wheel and adjust car to be in middle of gap
_
Very very good instruction!!!
Thank you Milagros!!
This is an amazing video. Thanks for doing it.
Thank you so much!
Thank you!! This is well detailed!
Thank you very much!
I’ll tried your method. After more than 15 years behind the wheel I still can’t do a good parallel park without back and forth. Thanks for your helping..
Hi Nadia! Thanks for giving our method a try. The truth is, everyone needs to do some back and forth adjustments sometimes, even expert/professional drivers. The main goal is to get yourself safely between the two cars and close enough to the curb. If you can do that, no matter how many adjustments you have to make, you've succeeded!. Please let us know how it goes, and stay safe out there!
