I've watched a lot of these parallel parking videos and this is easily one of the best explanations I've seen. Having the overhead diagram to provide the theory and a real-life demonstration to show it in practice is really helpful
Thank you for this excellent tutorial, I have been having trouble reverse parallel parking, and after watching your step-by-step video, I went out today and completed 3/3 successful parks. This has lifted my confidence 100% :-)
This video is good, but doesn't really explain why we do all the maneuvers. The axis of rotation is at the rear of the car. The back tires. So you need to get the back deep into the parking slot, so you turn the car close and aligned to the sidewalk's edge. If the back of the car is too far away you will always have a massive distance to sidewalk. The 45 degree angle is to push the back of the car deep into the slot and close to the sidewalk without hitting the front car when turning to align.
Tank you very much.... Would you please answer my question... Is bay parking (front or reverse) asked in the Queensland practical driving test?.... Especially at the Strathpine exam centre.
Parking in the car park is not assessed but you will need to park the car when you return from the test, so you do need to know how to park even though it's not assessed
@@SignalDrivingSchool If we make mistakes while parking in the "car park" after the test, we won't lose marks, will we? Also, will the examiner must assess parallel parking next to the Kerb?

All my dobts were cleared after watching this video as a beginner. Very useful and clear 👍
Good explanation for learners. Those making negative comments forget we are teaching beginners and the explanation has to be simply explained.
As if they didnt became starters or learners b4 ..they commented like because they already lerant. ..such negative people has sad childhood😂😂😊

After three years car will be parked. I’ll come back after 3 years to get you people know if the car is parked or not.
It’s been 4 years
It’s a beginner video, would take my time to learn 🥰
current gen Suzuki swift , can use the reverse camera as reference points.🤣
you can but if once you're taking the actual test, they will not allow you to use the screen... that's what my instructor told me
@@aimemari not really, you can use it, but not stare the screen for the whole time
guy talking too much..i can't focus on..
I actually thought you weren't allowed to use the reverse camera 🤦
Quite confused and too long explaining
That may be due to the instructor giving more detail and options than others I have seen.
Good explanation and technique
Thanks ❤
thanks very much
