Dude....numerous item storage modules designed to be arranged and combined to create our own build-to-suit storage system???? Fking gold. Subbed. Make more shit.
I am really excited. It almost sounds too good to be true. Everything I was missing in the other systems is present in this one. I think it's great that you can change directions and sort out individual items without any problems. Even the shulkerbox unpacking module is kept relatively simple. I really like it and will definitely build it into my survival world. One advantage of the compact design is that I might even be able to integrate it into my house and not have to build an oversized warehouse.
Cheap, simple, and easy to make. awesome. I've only got a small iron farm, so having a design that's a bit lighter on hoppers is always nice. Only downside is that it's slow and noisy, but the cheapness, crazy modularity and flexibility more than make up for that. It's really kind of a swiss army knife.
This is great! I've recently been looking at sorters by Maizuma, MumboJumbo, Lummie Thief, etc. I thought I would tackle something big for the fun of it. But the reality of that is: I don't understand those well enough... I would not be able to troubleshoot it. And the stuff you're doing here is really all I need! I don't need all that other stuff, and if I do THIS, I'll be able to troubleshoot it if I make a mistake, or someone/something breaks it, or etc. Thank you.
I built this on Bedrock, with a starting , basic, wraparound, and end module. This gives me 8 chests in a 4x2 format and in a fairly compact area. Also added an indicator light next to the wrap around module (so opposite end to the overflow light) to flash when the system is working. This works well, is a lot less work than other multi item sorters out there, and takes a lot less depth than others (at the expense of chest compactness). I was looking forward to trying version 2.1 or 3 to improve the compactness, but it looks like Blocky has quit, so we'll wont see those designs. Unless they exist on the world download, and someone could review them? (I'm on console, so I cant...).
@@BlockyBryson i wanted to be build a vertical one on my server but all the ones I saw were huge, and prone to lagging on server. Yours is the best I've found. Please upload the vertical one soon
Hi I've just been following this tutorial and downloaded your world as I really like the concept of modular redstone builds (I'm not a redstoner at all!). In both my build following your tutorial and the world download I have a problem where items are getting stuck in the dropper in the transition from multi storage to the item output... everything is stuck in the first dropper and not moving - I feel like the dropper isn't powered or something is missing - please help me thank you.
This is really nice. Good job! I do however have a wish: improve the end module. I would like a module with the following features: multiple chests, overflow protection, a flush feature where I can burn all the items if there is nothing I wanna keep. The chests I flush should be locked for input, so that I dont burn new items comming in. So that means there should be at least two section of the end chests.
NOTE: you may want to rename the filler items in the bulk storage parts (just make sure you dont put the renamed item through the storage or else the sorters can break)
Hi bryson. I subscribed yesterday because of your nether self building basalt bridges and tunnels that you made like 10 months ago. And it was so good because you made them so compact and good. I know you said you probably wouldn’t do anymore videos in that category but i would really like a bigger tunnel. And i think you are the right person to make it because im not good at it and you are the person that makes the best most compact simple builds. Could you do that? I understand if not but it would be much appreciated.
I think I could do that, It would probably take a little while, but it could be a neat video. Let me know what size you would want the tunnel to be and what you want it to look like and I could work on something
@@BlockyBryson Oh thank you so much! I saw this video ruclips.net/video/yw39kF3RRFo/видео.html its a pretty cool design on the tunnel but i feel like the guy maybe made it a little bit too complicated. And also, that tunnel is really big. It doesnt need to be that size but you get the point right? 3x3 would be really nice and the way he makes like the sides is amazing. Do you think you can make something like that but 3x3?
Just wanted to let you know I got the tunnel builder done, I really like it too. The machine is 6x6x8 blocks and builds a 4 block wide and 3 block tall tunnel, with windows, but not the cool kind like that one guy has though :|
Yeah, but sometimes if there's an item in the hopper it might flow in and you have to fix it. I usually take a half stack because there's a hotkey for that.
Everything seems to work flawlessly except the wrap around system. Even in the world download it doesn't filter into the top chest it just passes it by since the bottom hopper of the upper section doesn't lock. Thoughts anyone? other then that its system is fantastic. Even on a large scale as long as ya don't mind flushing the system out once and a while. EDIT: NVM It is because I spaced my chests out and extra block with an extra hopper for astetics. This messes it up on the wrap around
I actually have a design exactly like that, its vertical with chest directly on top of one another, and its also a multi item sorter. It's version 3.0, I'll be doing a tutorial pretty soon :)
why am i the only one who ran into this problem yet, my "starter" dropper keeps filling up with 9 stacks of 64, doesnt matter if its the same or different items and then the whole system just stops?!
@eatmypost9500 make sure that your hopper/dispenser is feeding into the next one properly, if it's a dead end, it will just stop there. Also make sure that that specific dispenser is getting powered, maybe right click the redstone dust so it's a plus instead of a dot, or just check that it's built the same
@@BlockyBryson its working if its not 9 stacks of 64, before that its just clicking away niceley, but ima recheck the built again, thanks for the quick answer man!

To fix it you would need a redstone clock overriding Everything forcing the droppers to drop and hoppers to unlock. And at that point ur better off with the trusted impulseSV sorters
In the basic module I keep having blocks getting stuck in hoppers and not making it to the chest. Usually just one of the same item in the hoppers. I'll deposit 30 dirt blocks and 25 make it while 5 are stuck in various hoppers and sometimes in droppers too. Do you know what could be causing that?
