I don't drive tow trucks but love this channel and videos. This equipment you talked about is very thought out with design and user friendly. Very well engineered.
some things you could have done and said in this video like lifting capacity, shown the lights, said how heavy it is, said how much it cost, so on but really blown away by it lifting more than its overall weight.
Wish I was young again, just so I could run one of these M-100's. I thought I was bad when I was running a 750 or 850 Holmes !!😂😂. Nice VIDEO Thanks William Orange county, ca.
I'm also a biker, but this happened in my car, I was waiting for cars to pass so I could turn left, when I got rear ended at approximately 40 mph, it sent me like a rocket, it jammed my wheels so they wouldn't turn, I skidded 76 feet, I just filled my gas tank two hours earlier, it blew apart my gas tank all over the road, but No fire ? I broke off the steering wheel, the driver seat back was laying on the rear seat with me laying on top of it !! It knocked me out for about 6 or 7 seconds, the fire department had to cut off half of the roof to get me out, I heard a policeman say she was TEXTING !!! I'm ok now but it took 4 years of recovery. Thanks William Orange county, ca.
@Dr Pepper Kev Yup, too bad this beast would blow a hole through his corporate financial statements, not to mention the extra costs trying to hire and possibly train an extra employee to operate this behemoth
I was about to suggest giving Plaza Towing one of these behemoths, but I bet it would be way too large and heavy to be legal in California where they are. 🤦♂
John may I make a suggestion that will make Miller stand out even more above your competitors than you already do… To get away from the tinny sound when you close the doors on your compart
If I had a recovery company i would have 4 of these trucks along with smaller recovery trucks. The Century M100 is a huge truck. Guessing the price for this truck is around 2 million dollars minimum.
Insana’s is local to me. They towed my truck after it got rear ended a few years ago. I’ve never seen this thing on the road. I’ve only seen it in their lot.
Its primary purpose is recovery. Limited likely by axle weights. Any tow company looking at an M100 likely already has a fleet of heavy wreckers to do the towing part of the job.
Anyone have a link to this great truck in action? Iv been watching a lot of wreckage videos recently and it seems they always figure out how to do it with smaller trucks one way or another. I wana see this baby in a situation where its muscle really matters!
So they built a crane and put an old school draw bar on it to call it a tow truck, not a very practical “tow truck” but a very awesome recovery crane, curious what the weight on the drives are?
Sorry John I pushed the wrong button…. tinny sound when closing your compartment doors ( and the truck doors maybe) way I suggest you add 2” strips of “Dynamat” spaced about 4” apart .Do that and your tinny doors will sound like a vault door Better yet your tinny doors will sound like a BMW door , and your customers will absolutely ❤️ you And if you introduce it at your next trade show your competition will say “ DAMMET they did it again.😎🇨🇦
Is there a tow bar on the truck at all because I dont see one on it and I now a lot about tow trucks because my uncle Is a tow truck driver and he works for a towing business
Massive machine,I bet it's very expensive machinery. It's like a crane.can you use it for the construction industry? How many warning lights does it have, and I want to see the flash patterns
One thing I never get with the towing industry in tow trucks is there backwards use of Chevron striping. on that truck on the front bumper you're pointing traffic into the middle of the truck instead of around it same with the outriggers the subtle striping is pointing towards the truck not away from it..
@@rockymartin2179 those chevrons actually mean something they are supposed to point down to the direction traffic is supposed to go.. If you notice, there's actually traffic signs that have similar chevrons on them on barrier walls that split lanes or you also have diagonal lines on the left and right hand sides of the road pointing down towards the road. Just because you and most traffic doesn't understand what they mean doesn't mean they don't mean anything. Those backwards chevrons are literally directing traffic into the truck. It is telling traffic they need to come to the truck which again is backwards and shouldn't be the case. If you don't understand what you're doing, maybe you shouldn't be doing it.. and the fact that companies like this don't understand it is insane..
I have been working in drilling industries for 37 years, with equipments and trucks , in oil companies, called this ( RUCKER) HOW MUCH THIS GAINT MULTI TASCKS MACHINE COST.
What about night time operation i dont see any flud lites with that boom able to go that distance and beable to turn. With no lites to watch for overhead wires. I here nothing about safe operation at night snow storm lightning storm?????? Its nice but is it ready to word under the worse condition s
I would suggest asking Miller Industries about this, but I’m guessing probably not due to have massive this thing is, making the turning radius absolutely awful, hence the twin-steer front axles
I do not believe that the presenter of his video did a very good job in explaining all of the small details, as you know is a builder it’s the small details
This heavy recovery industry is so funny. Here we have 100 ton rotator with 65000 lbs ( around 30 ton) winches....aaaand 15 ton snacth blocks...😂😂😂. I think the biggest is 18 ton that is normal size. So they force you to work in to safety factor instead of WLL. And you have warning: "Never exceed working load limit!!"...how?? Only way is to use 3 part line with 2 snatch blocks...but then you dont need 65.000 lbs winches...And it is not just Snatch blocks. Why do they even bother with WLL. 😂
sliding base like a cme drilling rig all for 2.5 million dollars, cant tow enough to pay for it less you chate 5000 dollars per hook does that happen to much electronics to put you out of service if it fails ?
I’m not in the towing industry but that is a beautiful truck..
so what. im not in the racing industry but i think lamborginis look cool. see how stupid that sounds

VERY NICE TOW TRUCK ALSO VERY NICE PRICE AT $ 1.52 MILLION

#RonPratt would love to have this truck
While watching this truck my mind brought you forward. I think it would be a tremendous asset to Midwest indeed.
What do they need this for? Exactly. Nothing.

boy this sure makes Holms 750, that I used to run, look like an old grandpa
This tow truck/crane is a beast. This is for heavy heavy recovery or heavy movements of large items
Huh. I would never have noticed
That’s more a crane than a tow truck . Nice rig
That thing is incredible
It's a massive machine that's for sure 👍
Your presentation makes me want to own this more than a supercar. :) Very well done.
i love the taillights, they remind me of the newer Entegra Cornerstone luxury class A motorhome

4 of these trucks would cost you $6.1 MILLION U.S.D.
Who ever get to operate one of those is a lucky person. Bad ass truck.
Yep, and in the hands of a veteran operator like Ron Pratt, this thing becomes an extremely versatile towing and recovery Swiss Army knife
Massive truck, but almost seems like it needs a support vehicle seeing what some tow trucks have in them now.
Fantastic truck, I'll take three. 😁
So impressive

I don’t see a undereach lift I take it this wrecker isn’t for towing it’s just for brut power awsome pieace of equipment miller never fails us

What is a waiting time on the M 100
haha already want one
Over a year
Wow that is so nice
I dont know about storing heavy(ish) tools above the controller.
Better for flat straps storage, heavy(ish) tools need to be stored lower down.

Nice Truck, greetings from Germany.
Things have come a long way since my dad's old 750 homes
Where did you find to store the eyes that pin into the tow points on trucks? You didn't mention them at all.
At the Florida tow show I heard that they made a M 100 with a under reach

Can I get that with the polybilt rollup doors
Impressive rig but I didn’t see any compartments with tool boxes for your actual tools Did I miss something?
You can add your own after market
What's the actual length of the truck?
It should be call the Miller industries m100 the beast
Is anything larger on the drawing board?
Impressive!!
That big mama cost, some big coin baby. If you see it coming your way. Go to the bank for that tow bill.
Around 1 million
Whole truck 1 million or just the bed?
How truck 1 million
Is there a tow bar on the truck at all because I dont see one on it and I now a lot about tow trucks because my uncle Is a tow truck driver and he works for a towing business
Don’t get the comment ?
There is no tow bar on the truck so how are they going to tow vehicles
How many units are on order or being built so far ?
Where is the raptor remote stored in the M-100
Massive machine,I bet it's very expensive machinery. It's like a crane.can you use it for the construction industry? How many warning lights does it have, and I want to see the flash patterns
$ 1.52 MILLION
its 1.5 million bucs from what i read. 1.8 with fully loaded options
When you're towing that truck down the road you don't use safety chains up to the boom?
I used to drive tow trucks dad would’ve liked the new heavy’s

on that truck on the front bumper you're pointing traffic into the middle of the truck instead of around it same with the outriggers the subtle striping is pointing towards the truck not away from it..
its to catch the eye of on coming traffic its noticable cause its not normal plus if its reflective it reflects better that way.

Nah, you need a blender so ginormous it would be horribly impractical to operate 😂
When this shows up on the scene the bill starts at $5000. And I would hate to hear the per hour charge. I come from both tow and heave haul positions.
What's the warranty on this one?
I'll take two.
What's the final weight

Might the M100 be available with a sleeper cab?
it better have one so I can sleep somewhere after I sell my house to afford the truck
Are you able to get it in the single front axle
I would suggest asking Miller Industries about this, but I’m guessing probably not due to have massive this thing is, making the turning radius absolutely awful, hence the twin-steer front axles
In Europe some rear drive axles also steer.
Would really allow crab positioning in tight recoveries
I have not seen American truck makers do this.
good good recovery recovery unit how many price I will interested I am in India
Please send us an email to sales@millerind.com and someone will contact you.
When i hit the lottery im going to have them build me one to lift stuff on my ranch
But what does it weigh?
Can you get a wheel lift on the M100
The new ones have one
Ok, I’m in.
I see alot of very expensive electronics to fail... . Not what you need at a recovery. I'll take my old levers thank you
So that's what they did with Kitts dashboard
5:13 did you say you have visual on the sh@t heads? i must be hearing wrong
How much that truck is
Where is the tow lights?
On top of the truck and the boom side
Can I get one with an actual under reach?
That’s what it took to tow my brother in law out of our house nothing else could cut it.
Might as well call this a Heavy Rescue truck 😂
Can’t see you getting much change from 1 million dollars bit it’s some kit like to see it on a V8 scania
Why put it on a piece of shit?
How much does this unit cost?
From the Google searches I’ve done, this thing will set you back roughly 1.2 to $1.4 million, no kidding
😍💯
Please tell me you have a good coffee pot up front .
no, but you can cook a turkey dinner on the exhaust manifold at idle! lol!
I'm the only one who still waits on a truck were the driver easy can get out on the passenger site
