I agree with you but most people don't realize that if you get a holster (Werkz) that has a good "cant" you can conceal just about anything with minimal printing for us old school hip concealers.
Though the g45 has a longer grip, I find it way more comfortable than the g19. Something about the grip of the 19 thats just too thick/round/square but the 45 has that slight inward curve/angle that makes for a more comfortable grip.
The 17 imo is best for range time and home defense, where as the 19 is best for concealed carry and home defense. The 45 is great for the range, great home defense, and I’d imagine with a good holster setup it’d be great for concealed carry. I still think the 19 and 17 have their place though, but if you can’t decide just buy the 45

Conceal-ability - G19 by a mile. Shoot-ability - G45 marginally and that depends on hand size. Drawing from a holster - again depending on hand size, the G45 “may” have a slight edge. The only factor that is objective is the fact that the G19 conceals better/easier! All other factors are subjective, even if most shooters lean one way or another.
Fact is the 19 will never be obsolete considering everybody has different hand sizes... & then they both have the same slide length so yea the 19 isn't obsolete.
Using several Glocks, the full frame (G45 or G17) is fine if you carry appendix. If you move from appendix then the G19 is easier to conceal. G45 and G17 work the same for appendix, I've ccw both and I don't notice the 1/2 inch difference depending on the holster.

I’ve carried a Gen 5 19 for a very very long time. My hands are on the big side so I picked up a g45 and the 19 still has its place for me but the 45 is my go to carry 90% of the time. @@Gieszkanne it does haha, but the versatility is pretty cool. Lonewolf makes a dust cover adaptor for a 19/26L if you want 26 concealability and a 17 slide bumping against your business all day?
If you kno handguns its actually not. The only thing it comes down to when both of these pistols are the same is the grip length because everybody has different hand sizes. That's literally all it comes down to is the persons hand size. Personally I like the G45 better as well but there is nothing that makes it superior to the G19. If anything the G19 has the advantage still because of the shorter grip for concealment. So there fore people who can fit the G19 Has the advantage just over concealment. @whodidwhat ! I prefer the 19. You're Absolutely correct tho👍..it's personal preference because I have medium sized hands and the G19 fits them perfectly. My G17 feels kinda big /awkward sometimes. I have to adjust my grip when shooting. I love them both tho .might get a G45 just cause lol🤷♂️

I have small hands, I love the 45,the 19 will retrieve from a conceal carry position, FASTER THAN THE 45.THANKS
Glock 45 MOS with a Holosun green dot best of the best. In a C&G holster. Easily conceals.
Yeah right 🙄doesn't easily conceal
@@blackticalmayhem8461 why?
@@mikeprice8307 you really have to ask that? THE GRIP IS TOO LONG!!🙄
@@blackticalmayhem8461 1/2" more is too long?
@@mikeprice8307 yep
How about a 17 slide on a 19 frame
You dont need a 19 frame also the dust cover wouldnt match with the slide length. Just shorten the grip untill the 19 mags fit! Actually I once saw a picture where someone shortened a 17 grip to the length of G26 mags. That looked goofy!
@@Gieszkanne it does haha, but the versatility is pretty cool.
Lonewolf makes a dust cover adaptor for a 19/26L if you want 26 concealability and a 17 slide bumping against your business all day?
I’ve had gen 3 and 5 g19 loved both bought a p320 full size and I’m going back to the g19 easier to conceal and way lighter.
Do you like the gen 3 or gen 5 better?
The 19 is a great pistol, but the 45 is superior. Period.
The G45 is one of the best clocks ever made. But the G19 is prolific.
If concealment isn't involved then they both are virtually the same gun. Other then what..? Gen 5's marksman barrels..?🤷♂️
@@blackticalmayhem8461 Yea man the G19 is a awesome handgun i also have one myself & when things get crazy it's going to be my go to. I think youl like the G45 more then the 17 because it balances everything out in size between the 17 & 19, I kno you kno that just saying the 19 size slide on the 45 is the perfect balance & all it really gives you is the 17 size grip you arnt really gaining anything just extra hand space if you wanted it. The shorter slide makes a huge difference compared to the G17 feal. The G19 & the G45 are awesome Combat Handguns I will never sell eighter of mine.
Are the holsters of the G19 compatible with the G45?
Yes
Glock 19 sell more than any other model and that will never change
Are you allowed to have a 17 round magazine in Hawaii ?
It is unlawful to possess a mag azine with the capacity of more than 10 rounds unless you are going to the range. Go ahead and check with your lawyer because you don't want to accidentally break the law. Have a awesome rest of your life and God bless.
First time stumbling upon your channel and I must say I really enjoyed your review short sweet and to the point! I am
Currently up against the fence in between the Glock 17 or the Glock 45 and i am
Leaning towards the Glock 45 for sure!
Get them all 19 Bedside , 43x MOS EDC and 45 Range 😂
STAY AWAY FROM THE P10C! I just bought a Glock 45 mos and returned the p10 to CZ USA for a refund due to a magnitude of issues. Glock all the way hands down.
Any manufacturer can have a defective product even GLOCK LOL🤷♂️..the CZ P10C is a reliable pistol .I personally prefer Glock pistols but still .you just got a "lemon" it happens lol...
@@blackticalmayhem8461 lol totally agree I was literally in the middle of dealing with CZ and trying to get it refunded so my passions were high lmao not to mention my Glock 48 had a bad recoil spring right out of the box. Still love my 45 but I do agree CZ makes good guns
@Michael Mcneil I totally understand lol..I've only had a problem with one gun when I bought it an AR-15 made by CORE 15 ..I do not recommend them at all lol..only good thing was the lifetime warranty saved me had a bad extractor..I replaced it with a Palmetto premium BCG no more extraction issues..AR-15 brands can be difficult to pick a reliable one without spending under 1K I.M.O.
@@blackticalmayhem8461 I’m blessed I haven’t had any problems with mine. I built a ballistic advantage for under $1000 and it’s just rock solid
glock 45 is just 17 bottom with 19 top, in my opinion (my opinion) 19 is perfect
I agree 19 is the best and most popular for a reason . I could literally just carry the 17rd mag as a "spare" if needed
If I only can be able to conceal a m1 Abrams tank then the Glock 19 is absolete 😂😂😂
For me 17,19 or 45 are not so good to carry, probably a 43 or 26 would be a better option
Except a Glock 19 IS a Glock 45 if you simply put a 17 mag in it with a grip extender such as the X grip. So a Glock 19 can be both a 19 and 45 for practical purposes making it objectively better.
Good video. Neither one feels good in my hand though.
I know! I wanted to love them so much but glocks just suck to hold. That grip angle is trash. I'm a Canik man myself. I am getting a 43x in the near future though.
@@Mike-gi1dk lol you think the 43x has another grip angle? They are all the same!
@@Gieszkanne didn't say it didn't. I said I'm getting one THOUGH. It is thinner and good for concealing. Still has a shitty angle. Wtf is your point 🤡
@@Mike-gi1dk And Glock is the only one who offer thin pistols?!
@@Gieszkanne nope. I just want one. I have all kinds of guns with many things I like and don't necessarily like about them. Again why the fuck does it concern you? I bet you're the life of the party man. Save some pussy for the rest of us 🙄
I'll take the 19 but I do have a 19x
Glock 45 is the best!
Glock 19 and Glock 47 both MOS. 4 guns for the price of 2. Change my mind.
thanks
+1.
Be well, Sir!
You should give some holster options that you think helps conceal the 45 like a 19
Well the g45 didn’t end up selling the g19 did it
Great video
Just bought G45 mos Gen5 and it’s my favorite next to my G23 40 S&W….
G23 is great love mine👍
G17,19,45 I think the differences are to marginal to even make a video about it. Also its very individual. If someone has smaller hands and get a full grip on a 19 why should he get a 45.
The margin is literally a 1/2 inch. I say carry with what you’re comfortable with. An has far as printing goes, people pay more attention to their phones to notice anything else these day.
@@Algemene yeah but those aren’t the people you are carrying it for anyway. The people that you need to worry about can see that print if there is one. Which can end up being a good thing.
Glock 19 helps because if you're in a firefight, you know any magazine will work with it. The slide isn't what helps with concealment, the grip is. 19 wins in those instances
19 is still better. 45 is a good duty weapon but 19 can serve as both and 45 will never be as concealable as 19.
Didn’t even finish the video.
Can they both hold the same 9 mm drum ?
I will keep my smith wesson shield plus
2:55 is a great promo
The Glock 19 is better for people with smaller hands .
G45 for the men and G19 for the women. 👌🏻
Glock 45!!
I EDC a Glock 19 and Glock 45 😎
Great video lol
