Hi everyone! Hope you are doing great! Here’s a video on how I make coffee at home. This is a beginner’s episode. I will do an updated one in the future! Please let me know what should I improve or adjust in my current flow? Feedbacks are always nice!
So pretty ! Got my Dual Boiler yesterday, heaps to learn (good) upgraded from Barista Express, totally different!
Such a pleasure to watch! Thank you!
Hi Aldeen! Thank you! Appreciate your kind words! Do you also love making latte arts? Cos I do!! ❤️
@@itsgilliancruz Well, I think I will in the future! I am still thinking about what kind of machine I am going for ;-)
I'm happy to see you using the silicone mat as protection for the drip tray. I see people with these beautiful espresso machines, and they are dragging their cups across the tray and scratching up the machine. Thank you for the lovely video, and your espresso shot looked perfect!
Hi Michael! Thank you for your kind words! I used to have the Breville Barista Express, has scratches everywhere which makes the machine ugly (physically). Learned my lesson so got myself a silicone mat with my new dual boiler :-) It looks new everytime I use it! Which machine do you have?
love it!!! 🥰
Thank you!
Wow! Dual Boiler, ganda ng nagawang design
Thank you! Coffee morning session soon 😂
Wow nice!😍👍
Thank you for watching!
Could you please provide links to your silicone mat you use on the machine and also the mat you use with your tamping tools? Thanks for a great video!
Sarap naman nyan...!!!!
A cup of Coffee in a cold rainy day.
tag-ulan na sa pinas...
You’re definitely a pro at this! Love the content. Really chill.
I have the DB as well. I think you tick all the boxes with your setup and workflow. If I had to offer ideas to move up a level, I’d say that a different grinder will make the most difference in the cup. Maybe a niche zero since you are single dosing?
It’s nitpicking at the end of the day, and I’m sure you’re getting an amazing experience exactly the way you have it.
Thank you Jay! I agree about the grinder change! I was actually looking for a new grinder for my set-up. I feel like there’s heaps of good grinders than Breville smart grinder. Niche zero is great, just need to have the money LOL! Do you also have the DB? ☺️
@@itsgilliancruz buying espresso equipment feels like being slapped directly in the face by a member of the royal family for even thinking you could afford to be part of the club. It’s painfully expensive. Fortunately, you’ll have a really great coffee to cheer you up. I’ve had the DB for 3 years now. I still love it!
hi! i just got my dual boiler and was wondering which set up did you put for the steam ? thank u!
Wow sarap magcoffee
Nice, but I think you left the porterfilter with the coffee puck locked in the grouphead for too long before the extraction. This way you burn off the puck, which adds more bitter taste to coffee.
Totally agree with you!! I rewatch the video and realised that it took me so long to press the button. Thanks for the feedback! Do you also have the dual boiler or different machine?
@@itsgilliancruzWell, it is funny, that you asked this question because I'd been in two minds about buying a dual boiler or a heat exchange machine. Considering all pros and cons, influenced by many recommendations and tips, I finally bought a dual boiler - Elizabeth pl 92t by Lelit. However, after using it for a week, I realized it doesn't fit my needs. Yes, this dual boiler has a huge functionality, but it's too big, takes up a lot of space on my small countertop. I realized that the exterior design is more important for me, so I changed to Mara X, a heat exchanger by the same brand. Luckily, I managed to sell Elizabeth quickly, at almost the same price I bought it. Mara X is more compact, looks nicer. It is all manual, but I like it. Maybe, I'll shoot a video on my first shot of espresso on Mara. Can't get around to unboxing it yet, it is so hot these days). I love Breville/Sage gadgets. I started my espresso journey with Barista Espress. I had a chance to upgrade it to the dual boiler, but missed it.
Pinapanuod ko palang nababanguhan na ko! 💕
Agree!!! The smell of fresh coffee beans 😍😍
Good job
Thank you
Nothing beats a freshly grinded coffee 😍😊 patikim kame nyan 🙂
So true! Thanks for watching!
Smooth Rosetta.. ☕☕☕
Practice 🥰
Hello, we have the same coffee machine with a grinder as you, but we have a problem with the fact that, despite the fact that we have the grinder set to level 1 (the finest), the ground coffee is still NOT fine enough to create a quality espresso. Did you also adjust the grinder manually inside the device and bring the grinding stones closer together? Thx 😊
Coffee!!! ☕❤
Yes!!
Hope someday I can taste your coffee❤️
Yes please! Would be lovely to make you one!
Wowwwwww 😍😘😚
hi does this machine suitable for small coffee shop?
Wow
What is the pressure on the meter when you make coffee
How many seconds is your extraction?
How do you know how much milk to put in the jug? I always end up doing too little or too much milk
Hi Rowan! If you look inside the milk pitcher, there should be a line or spout line in the interior? Put milk just before the spout line. Let me know if it works out well?
Its look cute ☺️
Thanks for watching!
Where do you get your mugs from? They are so cute
Thanks Madison, I got it from Salt & Pepper at Myer in Australia :-) They have different colours too!
😋😋😋😋
Please show in detail how you create latte art
Did you use the default 2 cup button on dual boiler or have changed any settings for the time as well?
Hi Ron! Thanks for watching! I use the manual button while I depend on the amount of espresso going out :-)
@@itsgilliancruz thank you and how do you know when to stop? Do you keep a weight machine beneath when the espresso is coming out?
@@itsgilliancruz how many seconds did you let it run on manual?
@@ronarora537 In my new routine, I’ve added weigh scale beneath the cups to measure espresso. Usually I get 35-40g of espresso for the double cups.
@@itsgilliancruz cool thanks, just wondering if it's too much of a hassle for a cup of coffee 🤦
Coffee please💕
How come your BDB is silent during extraction but mine isn't. Or did you turn off the sound?
Hi Paul, i put the sound off :-)
You are not like beginner 😄😄😄😄☕☕☕☕💜💜💜💜
Thank you! Always trying to practice ☺️
😄❤
Very nice video, although it is a shame you played music over the sound of your machinery.
Coffee pls♡♡♡

This is called a latte, not a coffee
Yes, this is latte. Latte is a type of coffee with milk in it ☕️❤️
clean that kitchen!
