    I’m turning 17 in a week and I’m basically 6’0 (like a lil over 5’11.5). My growth slowed down a lot after I turned 15, I’ve only grown about 2.5 inches in the past 2 years,but I’ve heard that boys can hit a minor growth spurt and I’m showing many signs of it, like slowed down growth for a while, and the fact that I’m a late bloomer. I wanted to ask if this really is a thing, it has happened to some of my cousins

    • @howtogrowtallerwiki
      @howtogrowtallerwiki  4 дня назад

      Hello there! You've already achieved an impressive height. Indeed, boys can sometimes experience minor growth spurts even in their late teens, especially if they are late bloomers. Your experience of slowed growth followed by signs of another spurt aligns with this possibility. Genetics and individual development vary, so it's not uncommon to have different growth patterns, as you've seen with your cousins. For further advice, it is best to visit a doctor and ask for an X-ray to determine whether your growth plates are still open or not.

    Crying too much like for 7 months,depression anxiety can affect your height? Will it make you stunted? What if i become normal with some health issues will i still grow

    • @howtogrowtallerwiki
      @howtogrowtallerwiki  Месяц назад

      Hello there! While there isn't direct evidence linking depression or anxiety to stunted growth, chronic stress can impact overall health, potentially affecting factors like sleep and nutrition, which are crucial for growth during adolescence. Consulting with a healthcare professional for personalized advice is recommended.

      Hello, there! It's not uncommon for growth to slow down during adolescence, but individual growth patterns can vary. Since your parents stopped growing around your age, you may experience further growth spurts. However, if you're concerned about your growth, consulting with a healthcare professional can provide personalized advice and guidance.

    Hi , my height is 5.1 age 17 I have little bit beard and moustache and my hands or feet size is like a child . So can I grow or not also I want to know that does growth of beard and moustache effect the height??

    • @howtogrowtallerwiki
      @howtogrowtallerwiki  7 месяцев назад

      Hi, you may still grow a bit more at 17, as many people continue to grow into their early twenties. The growth of your beard and mustache is a sign of puberty but doesn't directly affect your height. Hand and foot size are also not directly linked to how tall you will be. If you're concerned about your growth, it's a good idea to consult a healthcare professional for personalized advice.

      Hi there! It's possible to continue growing, but reaching 6 feet depends on your individual development. Monitoring your health, maintaining a balanced diet, and staying active can support your growth potential.

  • @-AryamanSingh

    • @howtogrowtallerwiki
      @howtogrowtallerwiki  3 месяца назад +1

      Since measurements can vary slightly due to factors, like posture and equipment precision, the best thing is to claim the height that aligns most consistently with your measurements across different places. If you measure closer to 5'9" in multiple locations, claiming 5'9" might be more accurate.

To maximize it, maintain a balanced diet, exercise, get enough sleep, stay hydrated, and avoid unhealthy habits. Consult a healthcare professional for any concerns. Importantly, embrace your uniqueness and be confident, regardless of your height.

      Hi there! You might still grow a bit more at 17, as growth can continue until around 18-20. Your growth plates might be closing soon since you had an early growth spurt and puberty. But you can maximize your potential by focusing on a balanced diet rich in calcium, vitamin D, and protein, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep.

      @howtogrowtallerwiki  6 месяцев назад

      Hi there! It's great that you're concerned about your height and want to stay taller than your little sister. It's important to remember that everyone grows at their own pace, and it's not something you can control. You mentioned that your family is tall, especially your dad, so it's likely that you'll continue to grow. Keep in mind that growth spurts can happen at different times for different people, and it's common for siblings to catch up in height as they get older. Just focus on staying healthy and taking care of yourself through a balanced diet and regular exercise. Your height is just one aspect of who you are, and being a loving and supportive sibling is just as important.

      Hi. Given the information you've provided, it's possible that you've inherited a height range from your parents, but it's also worth noting that growth can sometimes continue into the late teens. The Tanner stages and bone age are tools that professionals use to estimate growth potential, but they are not definitive predictors for every individual. If you're concerned about your growth, the best course of action would be to consult with a healthcare professional or endocrinologist. An endocrinologist and pediatrician are not always right an endocrinologist told my friend his growth plates were fused he would stop at 5'8" but he grew to 6'3" sometimes there is that margin of error in the X-rays for some people and they get lucky and still grow taller. However even as an adult growth can happen, they like to spread myths and say numbers based on averages and put false hope saying there is no chance as an adult. When outliers exist there was an endocrinologist who had a 28-year-old man whose growth plates have not fused yet and even if they were fused there is that miracle chance the X-rays can be wrong. Each endocrinologist and pediatrician say different numbers of when the human body stops growing c'mon now that's not scientific, they don't say the facts online, especially on RUclips. At the end of the day, nobody knows which genes the person will get it's all just a best guess, but miracles can happen as a teen and as an adult.

      In this case, you may still have some growth left, considering your family's heights and your growth pattern. However, growth varies widely among individuals, so there's no guarantee. Focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle and embracing your height regardless of any changes.

      Hello there! At 16, there's still potential for growth! While genetics play a significant role, many people continue to grow until their early twenties. Maintaining a balanced diet, exercise, and proper sleep can also support healthy growth. Keep taking care of yourself, and you might reach your desired height!
