I think a lot of people are skipping the first 35 seconds of the video! Here's a part of the transcript from it...
*"Let me clear one thing, this is not the list of what I consider to be 50 greatest films of all time. There are many films here that nobody would count among the greatest films ever. However, those films are personally important to me. They have inspired me to pursue filmmaking. And they keep me going every time I think about quitting."*
Great transitions between movies man. Made any short films yet?
Yes I agree with u man & keep doing the good work .we r with u 👍
Thanks alot for the video. You are awesomely inspiring.
Would you mind sharing a list of your 50 greatest movies in Facebook or Twitter or Medium, whenever convenient.
Can you make a video on Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice ?
I love your work man. It's super inspiring. Pls keep it up!
Yes Yes we know you love Martin Scorsese ;)
I can easily dedicate the rest of content of this channel talking about his films and still won't run out of ideas for new videos. But then people will accuse me of being 'angrezo ka gulam' 😅
@@CinemaBeyondEntertainment yep many people are are already doing that. Which funny becuase you have introduced me to many great indian movies from recent years. The fact is that many indians don't understand the fact that a film is a film it doesn't matter who made it, who acted in it and from which country it is as long as it accomplishes to be a great film. It also explains why you have only 50K subscribers.
Ikr.
Aviator and raging bull in top 10 where as no shawshank and any of christopher Nolans film in the Top 50
@@CinemaBeyondEntertainment do a video on martin Scorsese
Who doesn't like Scorsese ? For me , goodfellas is the best mafia movie ever made ( yeah , even better than godfather ).
Dude, it's just 50k not because you are bad, it's because people are unable to understand your work. I believe you have a great future ahead.
p p that's not true, language doesn't matter when it comes to a good taste in movies I'd watch a foreign movie with subtitles over American movie if the storyline of that movie is great & appreciatable.
But don't be a leftist.
@@sahilverma6160 bhai tune comment bhi angreji me likha hain and there can be many different reasons why he is working in english the first would definitely be that film analysis sound better in english, maybe he is not very good at hindi , maybe he wants his videos to be for a golbal audience since all the films in this video were also english, and every english speaker is not a gulaam most people learn and speak english in India for their job only because nobody wants hindi speaker in organised sector and most of the greatest films, tv series, standup comedy, books, even youtube videos are made in english by foreigners so don't tell people this crap. its good that indians know english because otherwise we would only get mostly shitty bollywood films.
@@amritashv.6021 ... what you actually meant?! 😀
Are you using 'leftist' as a bad name calling?!
Slim Shady film analysis sound better in english??Lol anyway language barrier is indeed one of the main reasons this channel is not reaching wide range of audience most indian people understand english moderately language is one of the main reason for success of bhuvan bam ,carry minati, ashish chanchlani etc. Other reasons maybe the bias of indians as we can see those shitty foreign reaction channels get more than a million views and they are in english too .
*Thank you everyone for your support so far. And for those who are here for the first time, welcome!*
You're welcome bro...!! Have always loved watching your videos.... Great quality content with in-depth perception of Films nd Series... 😉😉
Awesome list, will try to check out the ones I haven't watched.
A bit disappointed to see no indian film make the list. If u can't come to terms with Bollywood content try old time Bengali, Malayalam films etc. Regional cinema is still indian cinema u know.
did you forgot about shashawk redemption Schindler's list and the dark Knight
What do you do except for review??
I knew you would place Godfather as no 1
3:48 that was a GREAT cut
Funny how I have seen countless, countless movies in my life but I haven't seen more than 10 of these :P
Watch more movies. You’re missing out.
@@alex.theman2839 Dude I'm watching TV shows and movies basically 24/7 😂 Its just that I've never got myself to watching really old movies, even though I know they're supposedly very good. But I'll catch up with all the classics soon I think :D
Watch movies with high reviews

3 movies by Charlie Kaufman
3 movies by Andrei Tarkovsky
3 movies by Ingmar Bergman
So many by Martin Scorsese.
You, sir, have a good taste.
3 from Linklater
There's only two from Tarkovsky

hon mentions : cuckoo's nest,full metal,bicycle thieves.
nolan is genius but his movies are no top 50 sorry.
These are all classics
The pianist should be on the list also
Korean oldboy or american oldboy..??
And many more...
Prisoner of azkaban is the best Harry potter film ever
kageyama tobio my personal favourite one is deadly hallows 2.
Its not the best among them but it is close to my heart as it was last of it.
Mine too
Alfonso cuaron cinematography is awesome
It was the only movie faithful to the book and also the first time the franchise wasn't treated like a "kids movie"

@Michael Murphy I believe it's only your Perspective on films...
I for one, loved Reservoir Dogs, it falls into my top 3 Tarantino Picks. I have been a fan of Movies with shorter lengths, faster pace and Changing timelines...
Very few filmmakers can make such a grip with their craft on their First work such as this one. It's probably the only film with lesser "Tarantino bullshit"( meaning in a good way), you can't pick nuances that He usually puts into his films to mark his territory on them...
His signature on that particular film is very diminished, which I love.
Have you changed your list ?
because I saw drunk punch love and it's not better than the other films in the list.
In fact I would say I didn't really enjoy the film too much

I loved this. The way each scene from a film in the list complemented the next scene from another film. Each pan of the camera, and each tilt of an artist's head is accounted for and matched perfectly.

Forrest Gump also.

Congratulations on 50K subscribers. You have been my inspiration to watch better movies. Keep going strong :)
some great artists only achieve fame and recognition posthumously(edgar alan poe, HP Lovecraft, Bach, kafka, van Gogh etc.) so just create content and leave a legacy behind.
Lol... So encouraging!
u forgot heath ledger
Yeah you might be having less subscribers but most certainly your subscribers are amongst the happiest within the community.
Myself included! You're channel is the only one for which I have turned on notifications, and I do not regret one bit!
Tightly knit and focused as well.
Vineet, I would personally request you, and probably on the behalf of everyone who follows you here and on the Facebook, that please don't get disheartened or let skepticism creep in your heart, just because of the slow progress your channel is making. I normally never do this and in my almost 10 years on RUclips this would be my 3rd comment only - just to show you that, I care.
Your research and your perspective on movies is very scholarly and a lot of cinephiles like me(yes, I know you don't use that word so casually, but I don't have any other word to express my passion for movies) eagerly wait for you to come out with a new video. Yes, I know it has been 3 years and you have reached 50K subscribers only whereas several channels who are merely 'reacting' on trailers have crossed many thousands. But Vineet, understand this - you are serving a niche audience here. They don't come to your channel for 'easy to consume' popcorn entertainment. They are here to learn. You don't have 50k subscribers, you have 50k learners and enthusiasts. Please don't degrade yourself to a 'RUclipsr' - you are building a followership here. John Stuart Mill once said - It's better to have Socrates unsatisfied, than a pig satisfied. It's idealistic, but he was right when he said that all pleasures are not the same.
I know again, that you put a lot of effort in making these videos, and it's easy for me to say this. I know this is not your fulltime job and you have to devote time to other things, and possibly steal time from your remunerative job to make these videos here.
But if the subscribers matter to you that much, I would suggest you should think about marketing yourself more. Share your videos to Reddit, Facebook, etc. more and repost them regularly. Spam the internet with your stuff. People haven't come flocking to you, not because your stuff isn't interesting neither because there are not enough people with that niche a taste. It's possibly because they aren't aware yet, and word-of-mouth, which I am presuming is the predominant reason behind your existing following, has its limits.
So, please don't get disheartened and keep making video. Decrease the frquency, but keep making them. I promise you - it's a WIN-WIN. :)
Yeah. You're the only Indian channel I know that provides Quality Content.
Wow. Great comment Sir!
I was smiling when the last 5 were mentioned and when it flashed "Godfather" in the end, my teeth were poured out of joy.

Thanks for this video, I haven’t seen the majority of these so I’m adding them to my ‘to watch list’ 👍🏼

When I first came across this channel and watched the videos, I was so happy because I always thought there should be an Indian channel dissecting good films like the " Every frame a painting", "Lessons from the screenplay", etc. Honestly brother, I just hope you grow more and more. Your content is awesome but the sad thing is most of the Indians don't want content. They prefer lame entertainment videos but for the few of us you are a saving grace. I generally don't write comments but to encourage u and ur work, I am writing this much for the first time.
