I disagree with her comment but acting dil se karte hai is important. If you will see actors they will say you need to be good human being, work from heart . Irrfan khan too said i had read method acting but it doesn't suit me ,when you will do things spontaneously then some different things you will see . So parineeti choices of words were wrong and stupid. I think naseeruddin Shah too not beleive in method acting
Never understood why she is considered as a great. She openly admitted that she never wants go out of her comfort zone. I guess her being part of so many successful ventures that people think she is the best actress.
She isn't great, but she isn't bad either. She is good. But there are several actors much better than her who deserved more attention. Tabu is one of the best examples of this. She was only held back because of her tall stature (sad).

Nawaz is one of the best actor not just in india,i would say in the world. He is there with de niro,di caprio, tom hanks. I mean his expressions, depth in his eyes, and dialouge delivery is top notch.
Legend of Marathi cinema @6:27. I always adore his talent, the way he portrays any role by putting his soul into it. I take a bow to the great Ashok Saraf
The reference on kapoor and sons is the apt one. It sad the indian film industry despite of of have really talented actors is obsessed with super star . A line of super star + itemsong+ unbelievable stunds+ non sense makes a success equation
Same with Hollywood Daniel day Lewis love by Americans but he doesn't have box office distribution like Tom cruise, Dwayne Johnson, will Smith . There flops film do collection in a high range . Being a superstar is also a quality with actor choices and you can't deny that
Another aspect is acting without any dialogue, with the silence - but still evoking enough emotion. Best example : SRK character's train sequence in Swades where he buys water from a kid. Just look at that scene, the eyes, his vulnerability, his realisation of his country's poverty situation -- absolute masterclass scene.
Unfortunately this blind tried to show srk an average and one type of actor when rkr a versatile actor. Kid surly born after 2000 when srk got award for a villain character.
@@divanshukumarmahajan4803 he's surely way more versatile than those actors you just named. To be exact, what role these amazing actors do play sounds very much similar each time, either funny or villain. On the other hand Srk felt so much different in pure negative role being the antagonist like in darr and anjam. Not gonna talk about his romantic drama, which are even different than his suspense romantic like Dil Se. On the other hand Dil Se, Raju Ban Gaya Gentle Man showed his natural direction. Devdas, k3, Rab Ne, Darr... showed the industry's most expressive face, even more than top actresses. What made him world's most unreal actor. Swades, Chak De was his classic cult being a stereo type drama. I think I don't need to mention everything. From those name, only Manoj ji was a theater actor still no to srk level. On the other hand srk was a full fledge theater performer, did series drama including series. He's top dancer and action hero with a crazy flexible body movements unlike most of heroes today. You can have your cause but I can show you thousand logics that srk is the most talented and skilled actor in the world. He's Mohammad Rafi saab in acting without any 2nd thoughts. Oh my god this video brought tears to my eyes. You called out actors like srk amir priyanka aishwariya ranveer kareena, pointed out that how bollywood is celebrating mediocrity and and hailing average actors as amazing ones where as some of the most amazing actors the great one like sanjay mishra, rajat kapur, ratna pathak, etc have been ignored for decades and even some new actors like zeeshan ayub are used in supporting roles. I am glad Rajkumar Rao finally getting the recognition he deserves. I know why you don't have many followers because people who love and enjoy mediocracy will never be able to hear this truth.
For me if an actor is not versatile then he/she doesn't deserve to call himself/herself as an actor..If you are repeating the same type of roles over and over again that means you are not acting you are being yourself..
Although we all have a unique style of writing, speaking, walking ect. Everyone has some type of style even acting but yes even they seemingly have the same acting style for years that would really be a problematic problem for the actor
Actually playing yourself is an part of acting. What will Tom cruise will do in mission impossible or his action movies it is more about him , sometimes it is about taking traits of an character. Like srk play himself in most of romantic movies ,action roles but with uniqueness

This is great!! I'm so glad there's someone consciously analysing and understanding the entertainment "industry" which is going on a very scary and frankly miserable road now a days in india and not just passively consuming the "brainless" entertainment that's put out !!
By far the most interesting and apt video I have ever seen on RUclips regarding Acting and performances. And the line that "by way of using their own personality into the personality of the character"...ooof the cherry on the cake. Its like the greatest actors have the different types of character played in their filmography and each of them stands out in their own perfect way and you remembers their certain lines, traits of personality, behaviors in your core memory. The only regret of mine is I fount this video very late in my life. truly some great analyzing and writing skills you have. Simply Majestic. Outstanding.
Let me tell you this. This is one of the best videos I have ever watched (and btw I watch dozens everyday). The analysis, choice of movie scenes and editing is near perfect. Summing everything up with the Lunchbox scene was just brilliant. Subscribed to you channel (the first Indian channel that I have subscribed to!!).
In the 90s, Indian audiance didn't have access to GREAT acting, so average acting was considered good. I'm happy that after seeing good movies and acting, our generation understands what good acting actually is. Happy to see the audience now accepts who the real A List actors are based on skills(like Rajkumar Rao, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Irfan Khan, Ayushman Khurana, Manoj Bajpai) rather than still giving the titles to average actors like SRK, Amir, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar and Hrithik Roshan. That's why the Indian audiance trolls star kids like Varun, Tiger, Ananya, Sara, Janhvi, Suhana, Khushi, Agastaya and etc etc for their acting skills and doesn't let them get away with it. Their problem is they still think they can get away with this kind of skill because the Indian audience are fools and will accept whatever they give in the name of 'acting'. I'm really proud we're evolving. Tollywood is way better than Bollywood and Hollywood acting is just way out of league for what Bollywood actors do
You destroyed 3 khans with a single video. I truly respect you for saying that Aamir Khan is a average actor too. He hides behind physical transformation, change of looks and morally high ground characters.
He said, Aamir is good actor, Srk is an avg actor.. I think he is right. He also mentioned at 9:11 that "The greatest talent of an actor lies in her choices" well that makes Aamir special. His filmography is superb. Even Naseeruddin shah praises Aamir for his film choices. I mean he is the only Mainstream cinematic star who atleast trying something different n creative. In the current lot of actors, Only Ranbir has that skills n choices which makes him a great actor n I think Vineet sir u will agree with me on this. And yes thank u for this amazing video..Keep doing the good work, make one video on "Life in a metro" movie. Thank you!
@Shahjalal Khan Bro..you must be mistaking Ranbir for someone else or are blind if you dont see his range of emotions as well subtlety. Check out even a song - Kabira to see how much he emotes without even speaking. Sorry dude you got it wrong. Btw facial expressions are not the only way to guage emotions.
If you are talking about choices..then yes..amir is doing good in choosing films. But if you are going to talk abour trying something different..then u have to agree that srk is doing a lot of different movies.. fan raees zero..these are perfect examples..even when Bollywood was about all love..srk did films like swades chak de ashoka. Some turn out to be great.. and some disaster. But srk is always trying different things
No. He meant SRK overacts. And Aamir Khan though not a bad actor chooses safe sympathetic roles. By choice he meant choice of portraying a particular character in a way.
Great job bro. Just wanted to tell you that you are creating exceptional content. There are many analysis channels on RUclips- ScreenPrism, Cinefix, Now you see it, etc to name a few. They make analysis videos of only western classics and dont give a dime about Indian classics (there are many but not as much as foreign classics). I always fear that indian classics like Guide, Jaane Bhi Do Yaron, A Wednesday, Haider, Aligarh, Shahid, Black Friday, Lagaan, Mother India, Udaan, Kagaz ke phool, Works of Satyajit Ray (he was the prime inspiration for Martin Scorsese), and many thousands others will be lost in time if not given enough appreciation. Our audience is gradually getting mature and it will become a pity to see our generation appreciate only Western classics. They need to be made aware of the treasure troves of the Indian Cinema not necessarily Bollywood. And u are the only youtuber (as seen from your videos) who has the calibre to take this responsibility of embracing World Cinema rather than saturating only towards only one section of World culture (which unfortunately others are doing). You have already impressed many by analysing movies like Swades, GOW, Rang De Basanti, etc. Also this will help you create your own Niche in this competitive market. High hopes from you. She isn't great, but she isn't bad either. She is good. But there are several actors much better than her who deserved more attention. Tabu is one of the best examples of this. She was only held back because of her tall stature (sad).
