I have been stuck in a rut for a few years now. It's more difficult to get out of it with increasing old age. Good advice, though. Change what I have been thinking about.
I feel that. My problem is that the older I get the less I give a shit about shit. It's a double sided coin with depression on one side and pure bliss on the other. Every day I flip that coin and hope it lands on bliss.

yes Rodney is wise!.... tapped into some pretty serious stuff!... and has the ability to make it seem just as simple as it is...... you see Rodney is a plate spinner. not only is he able to lay down wisdom from places inside that most people have forgotten about... but while hes doing it you always get that "oh yea" feeling like maybe I used to think about stuff like this too but maybe i forgot about it or got distracted. Anyway its nice when I come home from work and it feels like i might be dying? or maybe everyone's talking about this new trendy war, or some new group of people we should all hate and Rodney just shows up to remind us all that none of this is permanent and we've probably been here before or something and maybe we should just try and get along and have fun creating some new stuff, or some old stuff, or some new old stuff.. or something... anyway lets all just have a super awesome day

Man this resonates with me, I keep getting stuck in a rut, and I don’t even know what a rut is, but hell I’m stuck in it. And once I get stuck in, I get stuck in a rut within an actual rut, and then I feel pretty hopeless, but then I remember it’s just a rut and then just get on with it, Okay bye ✋
With some areas I'm in a rut but others I'm not. I find there are those who have opportunities come their way without doing a lot and some of us put a lot of effort but still struggle to get out of the rut. I've tried a few different ways Rodney but I feel for me I just have to be in the right place at the right time which will happen plus I know what I'm looking for to remove the nasty little rut.
