      @andymckane7271 2 года назад

      Good one, Sanjay! I myself used to be a Land Rover defender, but that was over 25 years ago, thus before the "Defender" name came into use. I loved Land Rovers (and Rover cars, too) from 16 April 1964 to 1993 or 1994. That's when my last Land Rover, a Series III 88" DHT was stolen. Like Doug, I had many problems with Land Rover and Rover products over the years. That's why I owned a Land Rover parts business---in Doug's beloved San Diego---from 1974 to 1986. Eventually I grew up. I've been driving a Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon since 16 April 2012. Note the date! I'm still a car nut. Keep up the great work, Doug!

      It's a land rover, what did you expect? And all because "tHe LanD cRuIseR doEsN't hAvE AdaPTivE cRUisE cOntRoL" bullshit, had it been a J200 or a GX460 the title would read: 450,000 miles and nothing is broken

      New Ford Explorer is on, what, it’s seventh recall? 991 GT3 caught on fire for its entire first model year? Focus RS head gaskets? A lot of cars have problems early on in their model run, I could do 100 of these. Not unique to Land Rover.

      I use adaptive cruise control more frequently then I use the climate control. It’s an essential feature. Toyota doesn’t offer it. I would rather have 20 check engine lights than no adaptive cruise, simple as that.

    I really like these, and glad to hear you like it Doug! I don’t know if I can stomach this much for a car that’s going to break a little, a lot. I was really revved up for a new Ford Bronco. But honestly, they cost this much, likely aren’t as comfortable, and probably noisier. Where I wouldn’t really go off-roading in heavy stuff anyway, this makes a lot more sense. Plus, I assume it’s super comfy, right?

    Some brands I think have different types of check engine lights; some will blink fast meaning a major problem or stay on meaning minor problems etc.

Interestingly enough, I had the same problem where the sunroof is somewhat broken. It doesn’t open or it opens a tiny amount. Guess I’m not the only one who has trouble with broken sunroofs.
