I'm 26 and have not owned any cars.
Only drove my mom's old Volvo before she scrapped it. And now there is zero personal cars in my life. Just the company work car which i drive all the time to do my job. But that doesn't count much.
I am 42 years old and I've only ever owned 1 car. So to pick a favorite is not difficult for me.
My Dad is 54 and he owned 2 cars and looking forward for the third one.

Don’t just randomly judge a book by it’s cover. Inside Scotty obviously loves to help people out with their car problems. And he says it’s your money so you can buy whatever you want. You clearly don’t watch enough of his videos to know.

I ABSOLUTELY FELL IN LOVE with the Multipla when we rented one on a family reunion trip to Italy 14 years ago, & I REALLY wish it were sold here!!!! Yes, it looks absolutely bonkers, but it is oh, so versatile!!!!
@@landyachtfan79 A modern Multipla is really just Škoda Fabia. It's far more sane, but it's a VW Polo with so many crevices and spaces to put some stuff and a lot of stuff. And you get a little umbrella within doors.

That's what made the old NSX so popular. It was a reliable super car you can drive alot. Koodos to Ford for developing the Ford GT like that. I get sad when I see old sports cars just sitting in peoples garages. They were built to be driven and enjoyed. Happy 4th of July Doug.

It was a land yacht, but it was so nice and it had a Mark III air conditioner on the trans hump that could make it snow inside the car...LOL. My 1973 Black on Black Ford Thunderbird with a 460 4BBL. What a car. You could land a F16 on that hood. And finally, my currant car, my 2020 400 BHP Ford Explorer ST. The Beast that is fast as hell and like driving your living room down the road. I really like the way he appreciates the cars, based on the memories they create.
I replaced my 100hp ford focus mk2 with a 170hp bmw E90 lci and once in a few days I think of all the mud that focus went through, and the E90 is stuck on asphalt… will never be the same, no matter what the general opinion is.
Watching this now, knowing you finally DO own a Carrera GT, makes me all kinds of happy.

For me....I am certainly missing a manual transmission in my life. Haven't owned one since 2006. My last 2 manual transmission cars, 1988 Dodge Daytona (bought new) and 1989 Dodge Daytona (bought 13 years old with 120k miles). Both cars were dead reliable and awesome! Sadly, these cars are getting rarer now...so I might have to settle for something else in the manual dept. "Autostick" in my 2001 Chrysler Sebring Convertible Limited....yeah, I try it once a year to see if it still works. Same in my 2015 Lexus RX350...manual shift mode..really? haha. Anyways...great video as always Doug!

My 1995 Range Rover Classic is one of my favorites. But with rust issues and an oscillation suspension development when I hit diagonal breaks in pavement at speeds over 50 MPH I donated it to PBS. I did so many trips in it to South Eastern Utah that I have very many found off roading trips. By the way I had the transfer case upgraded to a true locking one as the Discovery's had.
I’ve owned well loved cars until they hated them and then I owned them. Actually my most reliable car was a 1974 Cadillac sedan. Never left me stranded and the ride was fantastic. Rear seat has lots of room to boogie. The 1968 Chevy Nova was a good car with a straight six. Gutless but got you where you were going and today would be wanted a lot to cram a big 454 into it.

I own a 89 Nissan scargo up here in Canada. I imported it here back in 2008 and have enjoyed it ever since. I live in Burlington, Ontario. 45 min from Toronto. Doug, you come use it when you're in town.

One of my favorite Doug cars ever is the Aston Martin V8 Vantage he owned some years back. I know they aren't the best or the most reliable, but I still feel that is one of the most beautiful cars ever designed and the sound is to die for.

He is excellent, he explained in one of his videos that he does click bait so that it may look like a silly thing at first, but then you click, and learn something that’s actually useful. You only think he’s trash because he tells the truth about your car. Don’t just get mad at someone for telling the truth. You need to not judge a book by it’s cover. You guys don’t understand anything about the legendary Mr Kilmer, who has been a mechanic for 53 years. He published a book, how to buy a used car in 1994. Yes, 27 years ago! So he has years of experience. So there!
At first I thought the S Cargo was silly but when you put in the business realm it makes a lot of sense for branding. It’s probably one of the only cars in the world specifically to enhance a brand when ya put a wrap on it.

My wife and I have always had large dogs too big for a SUV so we have a sienna awd limited . It's our memory machine , so many good times , we both have funner cars to drive but we are so connected to that car because of the memories with each other and our dogs . We will always have a Toyota van .
