I came upon this video by accident and just had to watch it. My Dad bought a 1969 Mustang Mach 1 brand new and had to sell it in 1984 due to hard times. After his death in 1995, I decided to track it down, and I bought it back. Then, in 2004 I gave it to my son for his 25th birthday. He still has it and he loves and babies that car. It's a real tribute to his grandfather. My Dad's is a 428 Ramjet with the shaker hood in Candy Apple red. A real beauty. I still had the window sticker, build sheet, original sale paperwork and even the leather key case from the dealer that my Dad used. All passed down to my son. I wonder how many of these are still on the road, or possibly even in junkyards.
Patti P good on you. When I am older I am going to get an EH Holden tattooed on my body. My grandpa had one along time ago but sadly she ended up in the scrap yard. Holden is an Australian car is u didn't know just in case

My husband and I owned one brand new in 1969, fastback, 351, 4 bbl, 3:50 traction lock rear, hood scoop with turn signal indicators, racing mirrors, 3 speed stick. After the original OEM tires wore out we went with 235/70R- 15" radials on rear and 215/70R 14 on front. We also had the fold down rear seat option. Cost brand new in 69 was right around $2,800
I will go one better. I had 2 69 Mach ones a black with maroon interior the first . The second Acapulco blue 4 speed with much modifications .i paid 400 dollars apiece in 1972 they were wrecked before salvage titles existed after repaired they were gorgeous .wish I had kept them

So they should only do dodge? Everything else is moot? Surely as a petrol head, anything like this is awesome? And why should being sponsored by them limit them to just dodge? That would be a boring show.

Thats cos you dont understand why all cars shape is similar. New cars are much safer to be even run over by. The bubble rounded curves not sharp edges. All wipers and stuff placed lower so you dont get flesh ripped off. But mostly its for cars hitting each other. Old car bonnet crumples engine pushes into the footwell steering collum through ribs. But the bubble car is all crumple zone. A front impact carries the shock up the wings pillars down the roof all protecting the people so much better. Remember the motorbikes front number plate? How many people got split by those. Hood ornaments impaling people at just 10mph. Cool car DUMB DESIGNS. This is the future stupid deaths gave us.

I wish there was a use for those old oil can spouts, i bought a few tote boxes from a speed shop after the owner shifted for his last time, and had a bunch inside. maybe weld 'em into lawn art. I can say from experience, those 1969 gas tanks work in 1967 Mustangs, you lose an inch of trunk space but gain capacity.
I have a '67 390 GTA Fastback that i paid $1200 for 30 years ago. I never liked the 69s , bigger heavier, ugly tail end. To each his own and sometimes I wish for AC but roll down the windows and listen to the rumble makes it worth the sweat. Nice to see this one running.
@@Ratfunk02 That's a nice purchase (I have a 1967 convert, interior/exterior decor group, honey gold, original 289 3 speed but someone put in a 351W with headers and a hurst shifted toploader--pretty much 1970's fuel economy technology). I wish Ford had done more with the 390 to compete with Chevy's 396. that rat was the LS1 of its day, easy to get 450 hp out of. Ford did some effort in 1961 to do a tripower 390 with 401 hp. but Ford wanted people to step up and order a 427. The 1969 and older models did get bigger, which gives some room for a big block (I also have a 1986 GT, there's fun with small blocks when the car is light).I will say, AC is nice :) I have a 1968 Olds 442, stripper model (except power steering and the THM400) with black interior and vinyl top and I live on the coast, so if you get air moving it's not a hot blast of dry heat like in say Nevada...but on a long drive the wind noise gets to you (the flipper vent window doesn't do enough). One day that will get AC, a new unit that takes up less weight.
darren reichelt I think they should atleast weld the floor and some other major rust holes, put a proper exhaust on it, rebuild the engine (new gaskets and bearings) and fix all the lights and the power steering and power brakes... I really want to see this car on the road... maybe even for a roadtrip! I think this might be the most worth preserving car in their roadkill collection...
I live in Golden colorado and have been to this salvage yard several times. They were very good and treated me well. I loved seeing all the vintage cars here and there.
It would be if it was one of the roadkill cars but this wont be it will be friebergers personal car not a roadkill car He said so if youd listened closely
I was thinking as they started digging in, a bleach rinse to keep the fecal dust down...Anybody work in hazmat know what they SHOULD have done? Urgh. Gag. etc.
Hi guys . I am an Iranian and really extreme in american muscles rebuild and restoring . but spare parts are going to be rare day by day here and this enjoyable job became so hard as due a f...ing dictator and fascist government that just try to fight against all over the world . i have some classics like: 1979 Camaro type LT - 1972 Formula fire bird - 1972 Chrysler imperial De baron - 1978 CJ7 Renegade and 1972 fastback Mustang 302 . I must be careful because when ever i will take one of them out it may be a problem ! probably one of their dogs ask me : is here America ? what is you riding are ? this is so clear that you cant realize us . what ever make someones happy will be forbidden even a beautiful American car but insiders sons are free along last model Porsches - Maseratis - Mercedes's-Aston martins ...by embezzle . Yes friends , V R in mullahs cage as hostages ! God bless you all and America !
It's nice to know that the love for these classics is as strong elsewhere throughout the world, even in countries where the governments are anti American. I wish there was a way to help you with your goals aquiring parts, but I don't know how receiving packages from the U.S. would go for you. I respect your willingness to take risks in fulfilling your passions. I one day hope to find a video of you burning the rubber off some tires in your classics! Best of luck to you, and God bless you as well.
The true test of a car's design is not whether it looks good all polished up out on the front line. But whether it can still look good 50 years later, rusted out, beaten down, and covered in a half century's worth of grime. If your design can do that, you've got a legend.
That car would be super happy for his new life. You just save him and bring new journey to travel again in this wonderful world. . thanks guys. . i love it!

Great car, great show! Its so rewarding just seeing how it looked before, and then how it looked at the end of the video! Amazing how you can make these classic cars run in a matter of hours, even though they've been neglected for decades!
my 69 oldsmobile toronado is falling apart. i recently got my life back together and am back on my feet. this show is a good influence for me. from seattle Thank you roadkill.

yes I very much agree such graceful styling it must have been hard building these cars
Yeah. Free hot dogs with every fill up of gas. Clint Eastwood is dirty Harry and Philo Beto. Grizzly Adams did have a beard.. good look in the future.

100% agree.
If a car sits rotting for 37 years and is able to run with only fluid changes that car is the definition of pure quality.
You say that and then here comes episode 73 and the motor seized.
needed a lot more then that... dont know where you got that from.

One day that will get AC, a new unit that takes up less weight.
this is the first time i'll ever say this but please Restore this car! like if you agree
darren reichelt I think they should atleast weld the floor and some other major rust holes, put a proper exhaust on it, rebuild the engine (new gaskets and bearings) and fix all the lights and the power steering and power brakes... I really want to see this car on the road... maybe even for a roadtrip! I think this might be the most worth preserving car in their roadkill collection...
darren reichelt I'd like to see a General Mayhem rival. Looks battered and broken, but runs like hell!
BLASPHEMY
Build it it up/fix it
Nah that'd be unnecessary. It'd take a lot of money to restore it, they made it good cheaply.
Who wants to have one too?
Marlon Rauscher you have noooo fucking idea🤤 1969 Mustang fastback with a 302 engine🤤🤤😭😭😭😭🤤🤤
THAT IS MY DREAM CAR
SotoPlays ikr... 25k later....🤣😂
I want it.
MegaJohnmcclain 7:10 oh cute! What's that little orange car over there?
I live in Golden colorado and have been to this salvage yard several times. They were very good and treated me well. I loved seeing all the vintage cars here and there.
Rip dog

A very big Thanks to the owner's of the Shop/Yard ... I know these two made a heck of a mess and took way to long ;)
This is the best roadkill car by far
I guess if you squint your ears.
It would be if it was one of the roadkill cars but this wont be it will be friebergers personal car not a roadkill car He said so if youd listened closely
mikeylikes063 he meant one of the best the rebuilt
Naaaa general mayhem
gotta give it to the rear engine truck that does wheel stands
That really is about the pinnacle of Mustang badassness. I don't think there was ever a better body design.
Why not just start every build by making a dam of oil dry around the entire car?
bludmakesgrassgrow because it's not a roadkill move
bludmakesgrassgrow cause that would make sense and we all know in roadkill common sense is nonexistent
I was thinking as they started digging in, a bleach rinse to keep the fecal dust down...Anybody work in hazmat know what they SHOULD have done? Urgh. Gag. etc.
If only networks in America and the BBC made shows even half this good.
SMELLENOR
thats a good one 😁
Excellent
its not a GT500 thou....
lethal0lee thats good but not the same body style
i still like it.
That Mustang Fireup when he removed the manifolds and the engine smoked was AWESOME!!
Aaron's not here
Freaking Legends.
Roadkill>GMG

I have a 1971 fastback 302 but I’m not done yet paint is chipping interior isn’t in top condition yet either but cool builds bro
Really American muscle car fan. Nice to know the admiration for these beautiful machines knows no bounds.
You really like muscle cars from the 70s
the Piston plane truck also came out in Jay's garage
I think you should have got some help from chrisfix
Every Thing Channel omg yes. He would have been stoked to help on the build
Every Thing Channel coulda woulda shuda
Every Thing Channel 😂😂
He lives in the UK though would've been cool aswell
Heeeeey guys...
They save another iconic car that might get totally rebuilt someday.
That is a very attractive body style. Glad you are keeping it.
I keep pushing air out my nose when something Dusty happens like I'm trying to keep it out my nose🙊🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽😊
If cars had feelings, this Mustang would be like a dog reunited with their owner after 8 years.
Ellenor Malik how do you know they don't?
Mizuki, it's because I know how cars work.
Mizuki Shiba because it's a fucking machine and it's impossible for machines to have feelings
Adam Nasir For the Brotherhood?
The dog is dead, remember?
My grandpa owns a 1969 Mach 1 in mint condition signed by Carol Shelby
Logan Rice does he smoke cigs in it
Logan Rice where does he live? 🔫
Joe Cooper nope
THE FLASH haha funny (look at the license plates in their videos)
good for you
They just fix stuff with a smile when other people would be crying. Sweet stuff
Imagine if ford gave them the gt350 engine to swap into it.
It will rip that rust bucket in half
Death666wish Probably
Weight reduction bro!
Why do people leave cars like that behind?
Right!!!...
because the owner dies?
because they were not valuable at the time they were normal cars one day we will look back at a 2017 mustang and say the same thing
So people like us have something to appreciate.
strate gies autism
"this family is so awesome" one second later "I can't wait to drive away from here".
The true test of a car's design is not whether it looks good all polished up out on the front line. But whether it can still look good 50 years later, rusted out, beaten down, and covered in a half century's worth of grime. If your design can do that, you've got a legend.
What happened to the digustang like if u wanna see it again maybe a restoration
Max Falkner Dave said he spent a fortune on a entire interior, and is getting a new motor and a manual
+GODOFGUITAR2112 kjkkk
Instagram reports that they took it to Portland Oregon
maybe a bit of paint xD and just restoring more parts of it so it runs even better
I want y'all to keep saving cars it's really cool saving cars specialty very old models
8:37 Good to know I'm not the only who says it like that!
Strange to see u here man
That car would be super happy for his new life. You just save him and bring new journey to travel again in this wonderful world. . thanks guys. . i love it!
Thats what i was thinking. I love watching car restoration shows where they see a car and give it a second chance at a great life.
Haven't watched yet, but I can already tell this is gonna be good.
+aMondia It's good but at 37 minutes it's too short of a show.Decent find though.
He busy revving up the powerful Mach 1 !!
its 'mach none'
Starkid 1236 not that powerful the70 boss came the 429 with semi hemisferical heads
Appreciate the “Speed Racer” Reference
The best part. “The wheels are spinning” 😂😂

A true car rebuilder lol
why not watch both... multitasking
Newb. I have both open
robert sarlo It's so unoriginal I didn't even raise an eyebrow.
Starting the car with a couple drip pans under the car would've helped lol
64 year old paraplegic right leg amputee . 43 years in a wheelchair from motor cross i've wrenched on a lot of stuff over the years love your show had 70 mach1 + 69 mach 1 ; you really need to invest in some boots before you have a fatality on your FEET! cheers !😁Later Richard
(36yrs) I twisted my back in my sleep and have barely been able to walk for 8 days since, they don't build us like they used to, you're awesome.
Great car, great show! Its so rewarding just seeing how it looked before, and then how it looked at the end of the video! Amazing how you can make these classic cars run in a matter of hours, even though they've been neglected for decades!
YUS!!! My life is complete. he said Canadia!!! xD
i like how that is less rusty than a 2003 dirtbike i bought
I am amazed that it started and idled!
my 69 oldsmobile toronado is falling apart. i recently got my life back together and am back on my feet. this show is a good influence for me. from seattle Thank you roadkill.
