I agree but no Master insert And really aggressive upfader curve. Why? Especialy the Master insert why? Its such an easy ask to incorporate and give us wings! Very much needed for compressor as an issert or Even a Master isolator like an ars 3500 to give that furthure drama!
I know for a fact this is the greatest dj mixer/tool ever made! Hands down. My only issue is the slippery fader caps and the fact is gas no Master insert in order to incorporate a Master isolator! I mean you can route it thru the mains but idealy its best to have it going thru the Master insert so that you can use it Mixing in headphones! Not everyone has a center stage that could Play loud at any time of the Day so Mixing in headphone for live stress is handy ofcourse you can sd a mixer and Play in ear thru that but such an awesome piece of gear and no Master insert is a fail. Maybe the mk2 version could have that feature Also the fader curve is off a bit to agreesive not linear enough. Maybe the feature switch from the xone 96 could be implemented so that the User could pick between normal / medium/ aggressive. The Master inserts And de upfader curve switch And you have the greatest dj mixer ever built. Hands down.
Hello! I have 2 XONE K2 controllers and would like to buy a Model1 mixer. How can I connect the Model1 mixer to the computer or laptop so that I can use the mixer's sound card?😁👍
Basically, all DJ-ing is painting, but with sound rather than with paint. It is fascinating to watch it happening in front of your eyes, or ears rather.
Techno DJs seem to favour a lot hardware apparently to create unique one offs on the fly, yet when I hear something good, Shazam it and listen back, the track is pretty much played clean. Seems overly complex and over the top but whatever gets you through I guess
Parametric EQ. The Q (or bandwidth) can adjusted to zero in on specific frequencies. From there, they can be amplified or attenuated at will. In contrast, a graphic EQ has a fixed bandwidth that can't be adjusted. The result is very pleasing, but it doesn't allow for surgical isolation.
Love it. Useful (essential for me) additions to the Mk2 would be 1) full kill on the filters & isolator; and 2) a crossfader.
I LOVE my new MODEL 1. It really is worth the cost. Thank you.

it doesn't have one, as it's a pure analog mixer. You will need an external soundcard with lots of outputs
You need DSub - XLR snake and an audio interface with at least 8i/o
I mean, he’s a DJ using the Metropolix. That’s already self explanatory, what a genius
damn, that's a true artist.
I respect him most for not changing his haircut after ‘brüno’ hit the scene 🎬
Amazing
What a bomb at the start of the video, great Richie

Nice ;)
How does he strip layers of songs to create new sounds?

Is Richie Hawtin wearing black Uggs? Asking for a friend.
6:55 says YES!
