That's one of the reasons why I still play Final Fantasy XIV. You can go ham on interior design, then have people come over and chill/party, even open a RP restaurant. You get back what you put in when it comes to that game's housing. ....Now only if it had penthouses😵💫
I know a lot of people hated Fallout 76… but like…. This universe would make for a heck of an MMO. Personally I loved fallout 76 even with its very rough start. Not the fallout I wanted at the time, but it turned into something else for me in a world I already loved some much.
I just want multi crew space ships. Let me add a proper turret style aft gun that a crewman can run up into and cover our ass etc. let those nice crew stations actually do something so you could have friends onboard doing jobs during a fight

Thanks for the kind words! There is a method where you drop the items, quicksave and reload. Honestly though, it hasn't happened too many times and when it does I just reset the item.
That's amazing. I didn't even think there was nice furniture buildable in the game. It's almost too much stuff to the point of being cluttered, but such a great contrast from the barren tours you usually see. If only you could buy a complete interior layout like this instead of having to build it one piece at a time.
You can build exactly the same as you build in an outpost interior. You have the option with a switch next to the kitchen too (at least in new Atlantis)

Hope you did all this after a certain story quest. Seriously awesome decorating though. I could never get anywhere near that. Certainly not without cheating to get all the bits and resources. Heck, even the fire extinguisher outside the apartment has stayed on the wall for you!
This happened to me too after that quest. I want to redo my penthouse but I'm kind of pissed about it so I don't know if want to go through the process of doing it all over.

I bought the 1 bedroom in Akila and after putting stuff on shelves and counters then leaving and coming back in and seeing a bunch of stuff half sunk into the shelves only to fall through once I tried to grab them I knew to keep my expectations low. It was my Fallout 4 base all over again I thought, although I will say that after that first time I haven't had that issue again. I can't imagine the frustration I'd have though coming home to the level of detail you've done only to have the engine make it look like it was ransacked by blind ninjas. If they sold that penthouse furnished like that in a mod, I'd easily pay $25 bucks for it. But you'd have to reset everything if it ever went wonky. 😄 5 stars.

this exact reason why my "penthouse" in Neon is just where I chuck a bunch of plushie's I've stolen. I tried so hard to decorate in Skyrim and if I breathe wrong it goes flying off into the nether. Never again.

How many objects glitch and jump out off place when you load in? My total respect for your patience. I can see that one coffee mug you had to say "to hell with it" just leave it on its side. The amount of effort is mind boggling.
My question is how do you set up little items on the shelves and tables ? U can't move them around in the builder and if you pick them up yourself you can't really position them right or straighten them out if they turn upside down or whatever. I'm playing on Xbox btw
Hover over the item and hold A button this will allow you to grab the object. You can then rotate with left and right triggers and push left stick to change rotation axis. Hope this helps!
@@Brad_Jacob yea I know this already , but it only rotates it left and right , if the items is already at an angle , it doesn't help. It just keeps rotating at a weird angle.
So I figure out that if you want an item to be place perfectly , and its an item you can pick up or stare in your inventory , just drop it and use the console to pick it up and place it .
That is amazing. I hope you have already completed both the Hunter and Terramorph attack missions though as the New Atlantis City Cell resets after both those missions and you loose eveything in you penthouse. :(

Fantastic effort here! One thing that has bugged me since I started outpost decoration is the fact that the big monitor screens can't be powered. We really need to be able to have something on the screen instead of just blank nothing. My idea was maybe making the turrets have cameras on them and being able to link their footage with the monitors. Then we can have our own CCTV! Hope the devs give us something cool like this.
Very nice, but if we could fast travel to the Penthouse from other places in New Atlantis and access ship-board resources from here, it would be actually functional and I'd put more effort into this living space. As it stands, I put more effort into the ship.

I think it's unlocked the further you go into outpost Engineering.

By having the pent house. Does it make you citizens right away when you start the game?
You will need the complete the UC questline to be given citizenship. Then you will be awarded the Penthouse. That's what I did.
