Would it have killed them to add some windows to the dream home with some views? Also, I refuse to believe that these awful open space living rooms + kitchen will still be a thing in the future. One of the best things they added is the ability to decorate with clutter now as well. As in you can drop clutter then use the builder to move and position the clutter. That's something not even in Fallout 4 or 76.
Mercury penthouse is special because it's the only house that isn't on a separate cell from the rest of the map. This is also why every other house is an enclosed box with no windows, and you can run out of your penthouse's balcony and land back in New Atlantis with no problem. This comes with a downside, if the hunter attacks the lodge then your penthouse will RESET. Apparently, New Atlantis resets after the hunter attacks, likely because they change New Atlantis to lockdown mode when you return. Nothing in your penthouse is saved during that, so if you placed anything down it's gone.

Regarding The Well home in new atlantis, picking the "United Colonies Native" Trait does not actually make you a citizen. Tried to use the skill dialogue on Tuala and he patronized me for not remembering civics class 😂
you probably failed the speech check knowing bethesda.
It's inexcusable that none of these have windows when Cyberpunk was doing that years ago... Even GTA Vice City had windows you could look through.
Overall though If you have a ship and an outpost what is the purport of a house? Even with just a ship do you really need a house?
The interiors of outposts and ships can't be freely decorated, and ships have a limited cargo capacity. It's not essential either way but you might just want a cozy place to come back to
Mostly roleplaying purposes honestly
I buy or aquire all of the in city homes that I can so I have a "go to" place in those cities to sleep, read lore, compare weapons and armor or just having fun decorating.
Damn, I'm 30 hours in to the game and level 20 but still have not joined the vanguard lol, looks like I need to.
I’m 36 hrs in and lvl 43 bruh, what you doing?
@@s0yoderz Mainly going to outpost and planets and clearing them out, how'd you get to level 43 that fast? takes about 10-15 missions on hard to even get a single level lol.
45 hours in and lvl 15. Slow roll and soaking it all in. Don’t rush it.
@@westonsaunders6460 I'm baffled at how you can have more hours played than levels.. I'm in the 25 hours / level 30ish range..
@@AwesomeNukeI’m 35 hours in and level 26. Ship building has taken over the last 10 hours of my game. Build, test and rebuild
Is the new Atlantis penthouse mission bugged? Bc I haven’t got it and I’ve completed the quest
for a thousand planets only 8 playerhomes were 2 are bound by character creation is not a lot
DO NOT craft anything or put anything valuable in your apartment. After a certain main mission everything in all of your apartments get wiped clean! This bug needs to be fixed ASAP! I'm so pissed the countless hours I put into my apartments and certain unique items are all GONE!
ong??
@@zillaxxyea i lost my mantis armor 😪
@@zillaxx Ya, I lost all my cool "junk" including my NASA and Apollo snowglobes
Just happened to me put all my clutter in there was finally looking homie then did the Hunter attack mission and came back 😭
So for people interested in the sleep crate you get a better one if you pay for the keys to check out those other sleep crates.
Last one has an infinite safe and a rack for packs
Most of the windows are horribly bad when they are not plainly lacking
I setup all the stations in the dream home and put storage, not right next to them but like a couple feet away is there a way to have it pull the items from the chest? Also is there a bigger chest that holds more than 165 mass for homes?
The safe that’s in your room at the Lodge has no weight limit. I use that to store all my resources because the Lodge basement has all the workbenches. When I need to craft stuff, I grab everything out the safe and walk encumbered to the basement. The walk is annoying but it’s the most practical way to craft that I found so far.
Fallout 4 had that so i imagine it's either bugged currently or will be added by bethesda or a mod
Build a ship with big cargo bay and the workshop hab. Life is easy after that.
@@juliangaskin941they really need to fix that.. at the very least tie the chest to the benches, given they won't tie the chest to the player/all the benches around the galaxy.
@@juliangaskin941use the personal atmosphere power to regain o2 so you can run.
This game is amazing

Thank you so much , such a well paced informative videon
you can get the dream house without the trait? buying from the mortgage guy?
is this true?
I don’t think so
There is a home in the key if you side with the fleet it's vary small but you can customize it like the others so I say it counts
I complete the questline, I didn't get that. Do I need to talk with someone to get it? Or is it just available despite no one telling me I have it?
@@Incariuz go back upstairs and talk to the chick that recruited you and ask her if you still a rook and she will say that your closer to a captain and you get a room key and a red captains outfit that you see the other named members wear. And don't worry you'll get a quest marker to show you where the room is so you don't get lost your first time
@@General_RAAM_ Had someone in another comment fill me in, can't believe I missed that. Thanks for info though.
They're s more apartments that are missing here. Akila has two, one is the one you have, another is the manor. Also several side lesser locations have appartments.
He showed 2 Akila City Apartments and what others do you mean?
Also when you complete the crimson fleet questline you get a captains quarters room
I didn't get any captains quarters...
@@Incariuz once you complete quest line ,go talk to naeva. That’s what I did and there was a option about “so I’m still a rook?” And she goes off about not anymore and gives you the red captains outfit and key to room
@@JacobCS321 Nice, thanks for heads up. Bit smaller than I expected, but still nice to get a room in the place.
@@Incariuz sure thing! And yeah it’s no penthouse but it gets job done for storing gear!
How much time is it between landing and getting into the other homes? Dream home, you have a short walk; the rest seem like they take several screens and lots of running. Or can you fast-travel right into them?
Can’t wait for an Elianora mod for houses
Missed opportunity to use the Ryujin apartment complex as a player home with a penthouse at the top. It could have the Ryujin red theme and symbol inside, and have one of those dragons hanging on the ceiling. This would be a reward for completing the quest line. That faction needed better rewards in general.
Really disappointed with most of the houses in this game. Most don't have windows (unless you can open the shutters in the dream home?) and all storage is limited. This is why i prefer using my ship, the Lodge and outposts as "homes".
Damn i wish id took the dream home perk.
Wow, this is nice! You can actually buy these luxury real-estate, this is gonna be fun, wonder what an auction would be like on other planets.
I built a little display for Andreja's commitment gift and when i came back after putting a bunch of stuff out everything was GONE! including the commitment gift which you cant get again, she will definitely want a divorce at the least
How do you completely skip over the Akila city Core apartment? I mean it’s literally bought from the same realtor
Sad that Akila apartments have no windows. Some of the other places- I'd pay not to have that view. Looking forward to Modding and building my own space station so I can dock multiple ships I own.
Even the sleep crate is overpriced.... You can get a better room in one of the hotels and you can buy it for a week for what 3000 creds. 2:44 I don't know what the developers were thinking!
These are fucking useless if they don't come with unlimited storage containers like at the Lodge. I came checking to see if there was an alternative to always having to go back to the lodge to store stuff and I guess I do. It's ridiculous how you can do so much stuff in this game but it forces you to always come back to that same place, its dumb as hell
Skysuite is.... Cozy.... But not worth it for the price. Also the balcony left a lot to be desired lol
I remember thinking I wanted Skyrim housing but with fallout 4 decorating and now I’m seeing why that’s bad.
Cant wait for complex settlements a cities mods like in Skyrim, but actually easier now, since has ilimited areas to build whatever the modder wants.
I thought they be one on Cydonia
"Dream Home" pfft, its surrounded by iridium, a week in that house and you'll glow in the dark
It feels like fallout. Bad weapons bad combat. Urghh this game sucks
