This is by far the best outpost build I’ve ever seen. I absolutely love this. This inspired me to scrap all my outposts and start over. Thanks for sharing🙃
I made a party outpost in the same spot. The nighttime views from my huge round clear hab were priceless. I set up the room with a few couches facing the view and put Aurora and bottles of booze all over the place. It was the ultimate nightclub/lounge with the best view in the city. Also a nice short hop to go to 'work' at The Lodge.
@griftur Begin in New Atlantis at the MAST District NAT stop. Go up the ramp and turn immediately left. Keep on that general heading until you get out of the city. Then turn left again and head that way until you reach the shore of the lake. Then, right at the shore. Continue along the shore until you find a location you like. If you want this specific location, you can already see it from where you are standing. Run around the first large bay, which you're already on, and it's the peninsula that forms the opposite side of the bay.
The lights and jellyfish bowl is absolutely brilliant... Just to the left on the cliffside is a great place for an outpost with views of New Atlantis as well.
You should give it another go! The system is kind of finicky and confusing at first, but once you get a feel for how it works it becomes a lot less overwhelming
One of the bigger problems of bethesda games nowadays i feel, as much as i love creative building in games. Here it feels like a chore to get into and a chore to do, with all the placement restrictions, cumbersome movement and aggressive snapping. Takes days to learn how to work around the annoying parts of the system, which indicates a really, really bad design. Fallout 4 already had problems on that front but now, a decade later, it‘s even worse. At least outposts are pretty much entirely optional, aside from some resource gain (the design of that is also very annoying) and some leveling cheese methods (at that point, honestly, just use console commands, same cheesy method and even faster). So people don‘t have to bother with any of this, but for those of us who enjoy building, that makes the experience twice as unrewarding.
@@Random_Banshee I don't know that it makes it unrewarding, but it can definitely feel like a struggle. It's weird because somethings feel easier than FO4, but a lot of other things feel harder for sure. I find myself thinking "I shouldn't have to jump through this many hoops to place this here" pretty often, but have to admit when I see the final result come together I typically feel a huge sense of accomplishment
You are the GOAT of Starfield building hands down. Great outpost. I've build on that spot many times but yours is over the top crazy nice. Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see your ships.
Wow, I'm speechless! I didn't think this was possible. It took me a while to figure out the creative way you used items to generate something new. Now I'm so frustrated looking a my own boring and minimally decorated outposts.
Every time I build an outpost and feel like I've outdone myself, it's videos like this that humble me. Seeing people build authentic outposts and bases in games like this has always fascinated me!
I'm always fascinated by the things other people build in games like this too. That's one of the things I love most about FO76, getting to check out other player's CAMPs
Wow. Your building craft has come quite a ways since the last time I tuned in. I absolutely LOVE that main room hab floor with the floating algae...but the list of love is exhausting, so I will just say: incredible work, and absolutely amazing work using our available build pieces. Bethesda needs to have your creations be front page when advertising the building system of Starfield!!!!!
once again SOOOOO brilliant - cant wait to see what you can do with ship!!! love the jeminson local it is i think one of the best city views you can have
You're a genius! :D Your layouts and the way you built the shelving units is truly amazing. The frustration of having all the separate items (junk, etc) you can use but not place easily is immense for anyone with any level of OCD! :) I don't understand why Bethesda hasn't coded everything to snap into place, like in Skyrim, and the collision boxes on everything are so unpredictable it makes decorating your habs hardly worth it. Great video and tutorial! Thank you. :)
Built a complete network of Bounty Hunter Outposts next to missions boards in all the outer systems. Stupid, simple, and newbie easy. But now it's the main base time. So, I'll shut up, watch, and learn from the Grandmaster.
It's "Settler Comfort Wear", there's another versions with bright green sleeves called "Settler Work Wear" too, they're my favorite outfits in the game
Beautiful thanks for sharing this and the Crimson fleet outpost, I mentioned before. When you get a chance and some free time, are you able to do a full UC marine outpost?
Wow! Your outpost looks incredible! How long did it take you? Are you playing the game, or strictly outpost building? I know a girl who only plays games for the building aspect of it, like this game, Animal Crossing, can't think of any other games that let you build your place.
I've never timed how long it takes to do these builds, but it's probably best if I don't know, and yes I very much play the game as well. I platinumed it in my first play through, and been making my way through this second playthrough going much heavier on the "bad guy" antics than I did in the first now that the empty ship bug has been fixed Other great games for building are Fallout 4 and Fallout 76, your friend would probably enjoy those too. FO76 is great because you can go check out other people's CAMPs since it's online, and FO4 has a lot of fun things you can build, plus with all the mods available there is an amazing amount of things you can do build in that game
the walkways I built the way as I did the skybridge in this video ruclips.net/video/89LvYFCJKZY/видео.html the only real difference is the stairs are still attached to the airlocks and just obscured by the rugs As to the beachside canopies I do have a new way to do them! I had been holding off on finishing that video because it sounded like the new update might patch this one out too, but looks like it still works, so I'm going to get that video finished and up soon
A lot of time is needed for this , created some pretty cool outposts too over the last year only to have updates stuffem up to the point of me regarding them as recently abandoned ruins...i prefer pre fabs now and add contents in later now that game has stablised.
I used the same technique as with the skybridge in this video, the only difference is the airlocks still have their stairs, they're just hidden by the rugs this time
Just an FYI, based on my in game experience. I've built a network of Bounty Hunter Bureau's on most the level 70+ systems and a few others. I build them next to a civilian outpost or science facility that has its own Mission Boards. In systems Mission Boards are system specific, high-level and challenging. Missions picked up in Cheyenne, New Atlantis or inside your custom hab are not. They are generalized to rhe games super-universe. You often end up going to lower level planets. By building adjacent to these in system boards, i can travel my network picking up bounties off both mission boards. Mine, and the in system ones. Then? Well, i go hunt those nasty, mean-spirited, poor nutritionally deficient "pirates" and open a, pardon the pun, old fashion can of whooparse! ;0)-
I think I saw a mod in the creation list that will allow you to build all the mission boards. So you won't have to trek out to those outposts and facilities anymore unless you want to get random quests from NPCs.
I'm a console player too, so all of my builds are 100% vanilla. I have some tutorial videos That cover some of the techniques I use to create my builds, and constantly updating that section of the channel to share as many of them as possible if you wanted to attempt them for yourself
A couple of things, the red cushion and suitcase were dragged over from new Atlantis, the rest are either in the build menu, or misc items that I've collected in my travels. The May Update is really getting me more invested in Starfield.
I know a majority of people didn’t like Starfield but I actually liked it, the base building is awesome.
You really created something special. I love it.

I'm amongst the Starfield dedicated fandom as I am amongst the Elder Scrolls fandom and will remain so to my elderly years. You are an inspiration.
That glass floor above water is just brilliant!
Jesus Christ I didn’t know things like this were possible. Awesome, amazing, beautiful.
Another fantastic build. The makeshift showers are ingenious, and the kitchen is chef's kiss
this is incredible, I've never seen anything like this in starfield. Makes me wanna figure out outpost stuff that I got too overwhelmed to bother with
You should give it another go! The system is kind of finicky and confusing at first, but once you get a feel for how it works it becomes a lot less overwhelming
@MissOPlays and to be fair, that is also true of the settlement building in FO4. it takes a LOT of learning. 😊
