I agree with you. It's my favorite High Flying Birds song. Been in love with it since the 1st listen. Every second of it. The lyrics. The melody. The horns and strings. Those backing vocals by the girls. It's absolutely perfect.
I think his newer songs not having as many views is just the nature of ageing artists putting out new music that doesn't interest people the same as it did in the past, in saying that NG continues to put out amazing music as he always has with Oasis and HFB
Think he's pretty satisfied.. All three of his solo albums have gone to number one and subsequently turned platinum... Never going to be everyone's cup of tea but he's rich and successful enough to put out what the hell he wants.. An amazing position to be in as an artist.. He's definitely taking the Weller route which means he'll be playing the long game

Today I have realised that I have been listening to Noel Gallagher music for almost 30 years and it has put a smile on my face that won't come off. I am really very happy that this guy is still making great music and makes every day of my life better. I only saw him once live (in Leeds a couple years ago) and I can't wait to hear this genius playing his songs live again.

The older Noel Gallagher gets, the more catchy the tunes get. You can tell that Noel is having fun and enjoying himself.
