I was 10 when I first heard oasis. It’s hard to believe I’m turning 40 this year. Noel’s music has been a massive part of my life and continues to do so.
He was the reason I picked up the guitar. Talk about being an absolute inspiration throughout my life, through the good times and the bad. Thank you Noel 👏🙏
100% my story too, including turning 40 this year! Noel and Oasis gave me so much, including the guitar as one of my best friends. I'll be a father in a month and my son will grow up surrounded by their music.

@Oliver mulvihill of late his more experimental stuff is far more int'resting (see Pretty Boy) than when he seems to be trying to write another anthem like this, and only succeeding partially. IMO

Six months later, and this is still one of my favourites from the new album cycle. It's such a testament to Noel's tried and tested ability to craft beautiful melodies from simple chords, with the result being a true classic.

I'm absolutely amazed, that no one in the comments. Has remarked on Noel's voice. And just how, throughout the years he has developed a voice that has matured into this, & this awesome song he has written for us all to enjoy! Competing with Liam would mean for most people, abject failure. Cos let's all be honest. Liam can knock the songs that Noel wrote, into touch! Liam has a voice that is just awesome, he is a real genuine rock n'roll singer. Anyone who has tried to sing, must duff their cap to Liam's singing ability. However Noel has developed into a real genuine singer. I feel we can all hear the maturity that Noel has developed into a singer, just as good as Liam's, & both are uniquely diffrent & should be respected as such!
