Amazing. It’s like he has just written it and he is playing it in full for you. Even more amazing that Dead In The Water was recorded there on the day.
Just how I'm seeing it, but Noel in this looks like he's really enjoying doing the song. Like I'm looking back over acoustic sessions he did to promote the last album but here he seems way more comfortable, sounds spot on vocally and looks like he's really grown into doing these sorts of sessions. Cut me some slack, it's nearly 4am where I am right now.
Probably true. It's not about selling records, or the fact that he's playing a guitar. He's the last person to have been at the head of a rock-band and somehow made it completely mainstream. There's many indy bands, but during 1995-1997, they were gods in hte music world. What I like about Noel today, is that he doesn't give a **** anymore. He's got absolutely nothing to prove. So he doesn't need to "cater to the Oasis-crowd" anymore. Personally, I like his new album allot more than the last couple of Oasis albums.
it is just incredible, for me, how this man could easily create songs like this. i'm a songwriter. he's masterpiece songwriter. i''ve always thought that wroting music it's something you ave in the veins. but not all the veins are similar. someone are bigger then other. long life captain.
"It’s alright, if you dance with me tonight We’ll fight the dying of the light and we’ll catch the sun..." Holly molly Noel Gallagher where's such inspiration come from?? I always cry when I listen to this version... Noel Gallagher's songs always transcend.
Heard this for the first time yesterday…..I know🫣. With lines like … I was told there’d be no time for growing old when we were young Noel has surpassed himself. His gift for melody is heaven sent and boy can he sing. His best song since slide away.
This isn't the only Great Song that Noel has put out since Oasis split. Dude's got an amazing voice with Much to say. I feel like this is still a beginning.
This is such a good song. Unbelievable when I am driving from Germany to the west coast of Norway over the mountains this song gives such a feeling. Noel is a God!
It's amazing to hear his songs broken down acoustically. Most of them seem complex but when played like this they seem simple. People often don't understand some the best songs are simple. Again most of his songs seem complex but they're relatively simple but still amazing.
As great as he is with a band, this has always been Noel at his best. The guy gets mocked for using simple chords but the song writing is second to none. What a talent. I hope I get to see him one day just playing his acoustic live. That would be amazing. Keep knocking those songs out Noel.
I remember listening to the album version high on mushrooms cycling around an industrial area on a cold but dry october evening. I really was on a train that was bound for nowhere that night but what an eye-opening train it was! This song always brings me back to that cold october night,

I've been Listening to this masterpiece for years .... it never grows old! Absolute classic. It will never grow old 🙏 one of the very very best
Quite simply...Outstanding...The Chief is Back..
Moments later Dead In The Water was recorded without his knowledge and quickly became one of his best songs
It is his best song
This is Manchester's finest keep rocking my northern brother.👊
I just felt chills when I started to hear this song... He's a masterpiece itself! Long live Noel!!! :D
The last true Rockstar. Possibly won't ever see anyone perform at his level for 20+ years again.
+Harry Frost A scary thought, but I suspect that you're right
+Casper Jean Rimbaud Im feeling concerned that we're lacking them pretty bad at the moment
+Harry Frost saw him yesterday in Vienna, he rocked
Sdhgfg
Probably true. It's not about selling records, or the fact that he's playing a guitar.
He's the last person to have been at the head of a rock-band and somehow made it completely mainstream. There's many indy bands, but during 1995-1997, they were gods in hte music world. What I like about Noel today, is that he doesn't give a **** anymore. He's got absolutely nothing to prove. So he doesn't need to "cater to the Oasis-crowd" anymore. Personally, I like his new album allot more than the last couple of Oasis albums.
You have to go deep back in the 80's or 70's to get a quality like that. This touches my soul so much....🎸🙏Thank you for this art and kind of music.
Not even human how good this is. One of the best versions of any song ever written
it is just incredible, for me, how this man could easily create songs like this.
i'm a songwriter.
he's masterpiece songwriter.
i''ve always thought that wroting music it's something you ave in the veins. but not all the veins are similar. someone are bigger then other.
long life captain.
Gets me everytime. Such an ethereal and moving song.
How could you not possibly like this song?
It's heavy, and poetic gees wow it's beautiful song writing
he's still as good as he was 20 years ago. god, even mccartney can't take that compliment
one of the most beautiful songs i've ever heard
This is one of his best songs he’s ever written! He’s a fuckin phenomenal songwriter!
"It’s alright, if you dance with me tonight
We’ll fight the dying of the light and we’ll catch the sun..."
Holly molly Noel Gallagher where's such inspiration come from??
I always cry when I listen to this version...
Noel Gallagher's songs always transcend.
My on repeat song in 2018-2023..... so beautiful ....I love Noel accustic.... 💙💙💙
amazing performance! one of my current favourite tracks from Chasing Yesterday
How to make simple chords and melody sound fucking epic (c) Noel Gallagher
Heard this for the first time yesterday…..I know🫣.
With lines like … I was told there’d be no time for growing old when we were young Noel has surpassed himself. His gift for melody is heaven sent and boy can he sing. His best song since slide away.
The Gallagher brothers really had unique voices , staple of their sound ..
should have been number 1 this.
Pure poetry has got to be one of the finest songs he has ever written, an amazing voice, and the delivery of his presents is pure genius!!!
Dios santo , ¿Cuándo será el día que Noel deje de sorprenderme?
Fucking Genius no? :D
Seems strange to me that I could owe so much to a man i've never met but yet again I am in his debt for giving me something so brilliant.....
That's very profound. Nice one man
The piano lines are also fabulous.
Noel doesn't need my compliments but this track is mint, one of his best.
What a talent! How come his music is so different in every lyric and weirdly similar in rythm that it keeps me waiting for more acoustic songs...!!
This isn't the only Great Song that Noel has put out since Oasis split. Dude's got an amazing voice with Much to say. I feel like this is still a beginning.
I could just listen to this again and again...
Just discovered this and I'm on my 7th listen of the morning
Amazing song and atmosphere ❤️🎶
진짜 노래에서 어떻게 이런 느낌이 나지...가사도 모르는데 따뜻한 느낌이야
this man is pure class.. always makes me happy to hear him playing
Truly, the best performance of this gorgeous song ever. Bless you NG!!!
