Noel is always a great interview. I think the description of what he does to that girl was apt. He does “change peoples lives for the better”. His songs have always lifted me up in my lowest moments and in my highest moments as well. I think everyone in these comments can relate.
This and the nepotism question (his daughter Anaïs has been working for him as a photographer) are completely nuts things to bring up. 😆Luckily Noel was in great spirits here and didn't give a stuff about any of this being mentioned.

I love Noel he's 100 percent honest and doesn't hold back on his own opinions and doesn't apologize for them either plus he really is a funny guy, he says it like it is and what you see is what you get. A very genuine down to earth bloke. ❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉
Saw him play at a music festival in Columbus, Ohio (eastern US)... There were surprisingly few people near the rail watching him. But when he played Wonderwall EVERYONE suddenly rushed over toward the stage and got their phones out. It was hilarious.
I saw blur at the Hollywood Bowl in 2015 and Damon Albarn related a similar story: He said that when they entered through Customs in the US the officer was didn’t know who blur was and when Albarn told him they have Song 2 the officer was like “The Woo-hoo song?” So he told everyone “Are you ready to woo-hoo?”
Noel has answered like that multiple times before. The difference between his answers depends on Liam. If Liam is talking shit Noels answer is " will Never happen", if Liam is relatively quite Noels answer is "never say never".

He was with Sarah during those interviews and he still gave that exact same answer. Furthermore Liam and Noel had problems way before Sarah came into the picture and Noel left the band several times before she came along as well. The only reason he came back those times is because he still had so much he wanted to do with Oasis and he really didn't think he could do it on his own. Which is no longer the case. All this leads me to believe that him leaving and staying away was ultimately based on his & Liam relationship rather than an outside entity coming in. I see little evidence, other than Liam has said it over and over, to believe Noel actually wants to get the band together. I mean even in this interview Noel ends it by saying it would have to be extraordinary circumstances and he doesn't see that happening. Liam by his own admission lies and says things to put Noel in situations where Noel is going to look bad.. So the fact that Liam is pushing so hard for that narrative to be the truth makes it less believable in and of itself. But who knows.... Liam has one less target . Hopefully Liam will leave the kids alone...and as long as Liam is quite Noel does tend to say nice things about him and get very Nostalgic about Oasis....so maybe.
I love listening to Noels interviews 😆 Maybe we will get an Oasis reunion one day, I really hope so, I have so many memories wrapped up in their music 💙

He has definitely always underplayed his guitar skills. Although to a master guitarist im sure the chords and scales Noel uses are mostly pretty basic. (Basic Major and Minor chords) And the relative Pentatonic scale depending what key the song is. But that doesnt take away his talent, creativity or musicianship. Some of those solos he played in the 90s were legendary. The extended Champagne Supernova one was always great. I guess he kinda slowed down playing the full lead to every song when Gem joined. But Noels signature lead guitar sound was a massive part of what made Oasis such a massive band in the 90s

Maybe you should check one of their biographies. I'm pretty sure that their mother still lives on a council estate in Burnage, though it's more than likely that she owns it now. (Thatcher's brilliant idea was to put council houses up for sale to the people who were living in them, which many did, but which greatly reduced housing stock. All in the interests of the lovely free market, of course). They wanted to buy her something bigger and fancier but all she wanted was a nice gate or fence or something. Very down to earth woman.

Maybe you should check one of their biographies. I'm pretty sure that their mother still lives on a council estate in Burnage, though it's more than likely that she owns it now. (Thatcher's brilliant idea was to put council houses up for sale to the people who were living in them, which many did, but which greatly reduced housing stock. All in the interests of the lovely free market, of course). They wanted to buy her something bigger and fancier but all she wanted was a nice gate or fence or something. Very down to earth woman.
