Really loved this video. so interesting seeing all your stops including that gas station.will be Subscribing . Thanks for sharing You both made it a fun video ..
This was a nice video, thanks. Are you using some sort of attachment or device on top of the instrument panel to run the radar and send the results to your phone? Being a pilot here in Florida, something like that would be very handy.
Glad you enjoyed. I’m not using a stratus unit or something like that anymore (I have it as a backup) but I have a unit mounted in my baggage compartment that connects to the iPad via wifi. Would def recommend something more substantial like this if you’re always dealing with weather
@@carleeszarek I enjoy your videos Carlee I’m not criticizing. But many people think the iPad weather is live but it isn’t. That information can be up to 15-20 minutes old which is why ATC asks if you have onboard weather radar when heading into bad weather.
@@Pa27pilot you’re more worried about it then I am. I have a radar unit installed in my airplane in the baggage area. Atc is looking out for me and I understand you’re trying to as well. I just also do have data on board! Thanks!
@@carleeszarek Sorry to have upset you it wasn’t my intention. You’re right it’s none of my business I won’t comment on your content anymore. Take care.
@@Pa27pilot all good just was making sure you knew I wasn’t winging it with the weather lol. Didn’t love your deleted congratulations comment but all good. Safe flying!!
Ok one more comment, airports don't need to have any obvious signs/indicators that say where the runway is?! You guys trying to identify the runway (that didn't take credit cards, what?!) had me so perplexed. Is that normal? Yikes! You clearly had it handled and weren't nervous, but jeez that seems dangerous. No blinking light, nothing?
They do! It’s just hard to find a 2000 ft runway 10 miles away but i always try lol. And then at nights or when weather is bad they have lights! Haha yeah some airports do things different but on the map it reported that they had fuel so we went for it. We had enough gas to go somewhere else just incase but it all worked out!
Yes ma'am! Such a bad ass!🔥❤

Woo! Excited to have you along! Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed ◡̈
Very cool Carlee! No flying experience here, but I love the visual of the skirt. That made so much sense! Love the video Carlee. Keep on killing it❤️
So glad you're enjoying it! ❤️
Great video, appreciate your perspective during this trip, and not having overblown audio is lovely also!
Thanks for watching - happy to share this journey!
Proud of you bug, keep crushing.
Thanks big 💌
Enjoyed day 2!! Thanks for sharing.
Yay! Thanks for watching ◡̈
Did my tailwheel endorsement in Llano a year and a half ago. Texas Hill Country is a great “low and slow” flying environment. Nice video!
Beautiful! Congrats!
I'm enjoying this cross country
Happy to hear it!!
That looked like a lot of fun😎
So so fun!!

What GoPro mount is that? Thanks!
The one above us is just a magnetic clip. Nothing is magnetic up there so I just clip it to the visor!
When ATC asks if you have onboard weather they are asking about an onboard weather radar not ADSB or Sirius XM. Safe travels.
Yep and the radar unit shows on the iPad or phone!
