Incredible flight and views, but the best part for me was you proposing to Julia, wishing you lots of happiness. I can see a Pilatus in your future. Safe travels Steveo.
Well, Stevo, did you put in an order for your own PC - 24. Just think you can bring it back to the states. Start your own business flying a jet and everything. I know Tommy Suewel in Vegas loved flying the PC 24. And by the way, congrats on the marriage proposal. What a place to do it.
WOW, absolutely incredible flight. The scenery, cinematography, low level between the mountains. And Switzerland!! Beautiful. Congratulations Steve on the engagement. You both will never forget this joyous occasion. Also, the PC-24, incredible!!!!
I am a very modest private pilot from Italy who's been living in Switzerland since 2014 and learned to fly here, over the Swiss Alps. I absolutely share the same wonder and awe every time I take off and fly over this beautiful Country. Apart from the fact that even with a small SEP you reeeeaaaally have to learn to fly through mountains and valleys, it's the joy of performing a flight like the one you did that is really worth the effort. I share the commotion you experience every single time I'm up as well.
I am Swiss PPL Pilot and I have also experienced Gstaad Airport as PIC. The circuit is exiting and requires your full attention because you are very low and you see the runway (and if your altitude is correct) only a few second before you land. Amazing flight guys. That's what Swiss pilots can offer and with a Swiss Jet even more amazing. Thank you for sharing and congrats to your proposal.
She said YES! Congratulations! That is one sweet jet, and the pilot flew it like a bush pilot. Takes lots of experience to operate a plane in the mountains and make it look that easy!
I lived there for a few years Steveo....I can tell you that there is not one peak that has not been climbed!!! Multiple times. By high school kids!! Climbing and hiking are a national past time for ALL SWISS! That was an INSANE FLIGHT!!! LOVED IT. THANKS
I've watched you for over 7 years now. This is one of THE best airplane videos I've seen you do. It's amazing to watch you travel over the years and move on in life. Those mountains were beautiful, it almost looked like a dream... I always wanted to travel to Switzerland. Amazing video!
THIS. IS. EPIC! What a flight. It has everything! Stopping traffic, incredible views, low level hand flying through gaps, an insane landing and even a proposal! 😍 Best flight video I've seen 👏
I was referring to the captain, who was introduced by Steve O as Moritz or maybe Maurice, as I understood. Not the city of St. Moritz. Funny misunderstanding 😂!
Wow the whole area looks amazing. I also noticed that the land was not congested with power poles and electrical wires going everywhere! Looks so clean there like everyone takes pride in cleanliness.
SteveO, that has to be the most riveting flight you’ve brought us on! And my favorite part, has to be the landing of the aircraft on a mountain range. Thanks for bringing us along! 🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
This has got to be one of your BEST videos Ever. Fantastic tour of the Swiss Mountains, an incredibile approach and landing into a tight valley airport, and along with that, you also did an incredible video on the Pilatus factory tour. This was ABSOLUTELY Stunning. This needs millions of views!!!!!
Wish you two all the best! Living in Austria, I'm pretty much used to sceneries like this, but I have to admitt that the swiss alps are exceptionally beautiful! Best wishes from Vienna!
Yeah I'm sitting here like wow this place is nice. Ypu're pretty lucky I do get the same thing though living where I do - Southwest Colorado in the mountains near Pagosa Springs. One of the nicest areas I've ever lived, but it just becomes normal and have to be reminded I'm pretty lucky to live where I do.
Two years ago I drove past the Pilatus factory (Pilatus is named after the mountain nearby) on a trip to and from Italy, fantastic there. I live in the flattest country in Europe where a large area is below sea level: the Netherlands. Congratulations Steveo and Julia, I wish you all the best!❤️❤️
Fantastic flight, thanks for the video ! That is probably the perfect place for a military airfield, good sheltering terrain, large enough for sustained operations but doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. From altitude you gotta know where to look, on landing you must float like a butterfly ! BEAUTIFUL
VFR hand flying a jet in Swiss Alps? WOW! What a dream flight! Every time I flew over Swiss Alps I always looked down and wish I could just disengage the autopilot and do what you just did. Unfortunately I would definitely lost my job and go straight to jail after landing. What a sweet airplane too. Pilatus aircrafts are so finely built.
I have had the privilege to visit Switzerland both on business and leisure trips many times. It is arguably the most beautiful country for those views and this video brought back some treasured memories. Thanks for sharing Steve O - and congratulations!
Danke Misses Julia!!!
Glad you enjoyed our homebase Buochs, it's great to see it once again from the PC-24 perspective! 😎 Absolutely stunning Video, even more for recognizing all the mountains around and the approach into Saanen. You've been extremely lucky with the weather, as this year has been quite difficult so far around the Swiss Alps. Loved the PIC's reaction at 14:14 , even when he said he's joking, it's actually true they fly around for daily business. 😅Thanks for sharing, this was high-quality entertainment! 👍🏼
That was EPIC!!! From the awesome PC-24, the Beautiful scenery, Moritz calmness and skills in flying, your excitement, and most of all, Congratulations to you and Juliette on your engagement. Blessings!! Thanks for sharing.
A visit to Switzerland 60 years ago convinced me it was the most beautiful place on earth. This video easily confirms that belief! Spectacular scenery, flight and aircraft. All the best wishes to you and Julia.
Visited it just a few months ago, the countryside is still SO GORGEOUS wow. Instantly fell in love and already asked my few swiss friends "hey, so, how do I move there" (one of them probably can legitimately help haha)
When the “I’m a passenger” audio plays at the beginning of the video I already know it’s going to be a great video. Wonderful photography and I hope to see more PC24s in the U.S
You are finally in my backyard…I flew all over the western Swiss Alps out of Ecuvillens, down through Lake Geneva and over the Eiger, Moncj and Jungfrau mountains…those narrow passes are just insane….
Congratulations to Steve and Julia. Definitely the best part of the video. However, I was touring the Swiss Alps with my family last week and this week I am earning a type rating in the PC 24 in Dallas. Thank you for taking the time to share such an amazing and well done video. The video expresses so much the excitement of flying, especially in the amazing Alps
I do a lot of mountain flying here in Utah, and the views can be stunning, but Switzerland looks like it’s in a higher level! What a beautiful flight. And a big congratulations on the engagement! Happy for both of you!
Congratulations on your engagement! How cool was that for you to share a piece of that moment with us. You're a favorite creator for a reason and that shows it. I wish you both the very best! Blue skies Captain!
Not only is Switzerland a great place to fly, it also has some of the best driving roads in Europe, the scenery is amazing through those mountain passes.
What an amazing tour of one of my fav parts of Switzerland. We spent time in the Lucerne and Gstaad area last year and would have loved to tour the Pilatus plant. Congrats on your engagement and perhaps you could tie the knot at the beautiful spot you all flew over! All the best Stevo!
I'll bet that the PIC was a former, long time Swiss Air Force pilot considering (observing) his 'professional' approach into the 'Saanen Airport', one of many former Swiss Air Force bases.
Wow!! Absolutely amazing video Stevo! The plane is beautiful. Thanks for taking us along for the ride. Flying so close to the tops of the mountains was incredible!!
Man been following you for a long time and to see how far you came. Huge congratulations to Julia and yourself and wish nothing but long lasting love and happiness!!! Keep up the great work Steveo!!
The PC24 is used by the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Australia as flying intensive care units. A spectacular jet capable of service in the most hostile of terrains.
The views reminded of my visit to Lucerne and our ride in a cable car to a glacier. Your PIC is an amazing instructor, what an experience for you to fly with him
I feel like i am following in your shadow. Our company went from SR22T and a BE350 to two TBM 960's and now a PC12. We're looking at a second PC12 and a PC24 within the next year or so., I watch your videos and craze at the similarities and how distant it seemed to be years ago. Yet here we are. Best wishes.
Congratz ! Man, that title did NOT make me expect this level of awesomeness .. the scenery .. the hand flying .. the plane .. just awesome. Tnx for taking us on that ride.
In 2006 I was living in North Africa where I worked in the oil and gas business. To get back to civilization, I would go to Geneva for long weekends and a little R&R. I went on a ski trip to Gstaad in 2008, and I loved it so much I bought a house on the first mountain you fly over when you are on a 08 departure. Beautiful place!
Great stuff to see for a Swiss VFR/IFR PPL pilot never seen on any local channel so far! I am so proud! Thank you so much for that unique experience, I was in the cockpit too. 😄P.S. Did places like Buttwil Airport with Piper P4, Cessna 152 and even a two engine King Air and would wonder if the Pilatus could land there? Most probably yes? But anyhow, my American friend and Korea veteran pilot at the time was much impressed too, like you, flying in Swiss alps and landing on short airfields😂👨🏼✈️
Having been to Switzerland about 25 times, there is no better place. Flying in the country is premium. 🇨🇭🇨🇭🇨🇭 Beautiful left base turn over the village of Gstaad. Wonderful village to visit.
What a splendid piece of film this is. Bravo 👏 Beautiful smooth aircraft, a very genial competent and professional Swiss pilot. And stunning images of this area of Switzerland. Congratulations on your production and congratulations on your engagement. Thank you for sharing

If you enjoyed flying that over the alps you should try aerobatics over the alps in a pilatus aerobatic plane. I had a two hour aerobatic lesson few years back over alps and will never forget looking up at the through the glass alps whilst flying inverted.
Glad you liked it! I am from Bern (Saanen is in the Bernese Mountains), been to Gstaad and Saanen 200 times or more - and it IS marvellous, even if you've been there a lot. You should go there skiing one day!
at 56 yrs old no flying experience loved the flight and just put exact same flight on my My bucket list plus tempts me to learn to fly ....Cheers to the captain again Beautiful flight made my day !!!
Breathtaking Views 😍 I flew through the Alps on my way to Venice in a small ultralight Pipistrel Sinus. It was a thrill 😊 But flying the PC 24 one of the best business jet's in the world is another level 😎 What a great place to propose to your girlfriend. Wishing you all the best ♥️ Safe flying ✈️
Fantastic video one of the best aviation videos I have watched . Excellent I every repect. It really showed off the Pilatus and Switzerland. Just going to watch it one more time
BEAUTIFUL! Congratulations on the engagement Steveo! Lol my ADHD has me always paying attention to the wrong things and I noticed the pilot flying's hands not on the speed brake/spoilers handle while they were deployed, then remembered a recent Mentour PIlot video about that, lol! Then I remembered this is not a commercial flight, and... It's the friggin' Alps! Gotta take it easy and take it all in! Such gorgeous footage. And, yes! The aircraft seemed to noticeably put on display her exceptionally stable handling characteristics during that flight! Video stableization?? jk
Congratulations on your engagement! As for what I thought was the most impressive part of the video, perhaps that was that your fiancee was able to walk in shoes with heels that rivalled the height of the Swiss Alps! As an European and someone who feels happiest in the mountains, I thoroughly enjoyed the view throughout and the aircraft looked deceptively easy to fly. That is how it seemed on camera and please bear in mind that I have never ever sat in a cockpit let alone attempt to fly a plane.
Thank you for this flight ! It was Beautifull! I like that Pilatus PC-24! I was impressive by lowest altitude, we see perfectly the mountains ! The Swizzeland is beautifull! You can com in France too! the Savoy is good too! The samll teraiin i LFKA in Albertville! have a nice flights, best !
Steve, I am so happy for you and Julia on your engagement! What a fantastic flight, the views are superlative The PC-24 is a sweet plane, so smooth.. I read a lot of the comments,,, ditto here:) I hope yo both have a wonderful summer and if this is an example well WOW! Cheers, Frederick "Rik" Spector
It's that moment when you talk to a Swiss national and they apologise for only speaking 7 languages and yours isn't one of them. I've flown over the Alps a few times and seeing skiers on the pistes and the chair lifts is just mindblowing. They are just below you, enjoying the powder and mountain restaurants.....it is a wonderful experience. The Alps is a stunning place.....one of the very best places on our planet.....the mix of cultures, the music, the food, the people........
couple of things ; 1 best video you have ever made ! 2.Absolutely best flight video I have ever seen. 3 Fiance is stunning , as you deserve. Thank you mate .
The extreme of where we usually go with you. From the valleys to the peaks, it was beautiful but too cold for this Florida boy, I ski on water. Congrats on the engagement, Steve
I have really enjoyed watching this great flying over the mountains. All the colors and contrast on mountains reminded me of Bob Ross's painting knives and his famous fan brush 😂
Beautiful flight. Next time make a circle around the the Matterhorn above Zermatt (my favorite place) I've been waiting for a view of the PC-24 since I've been spending so much time working on PC-12's at Aero Air at Hillsboro, Oregon. Switzerland is my favorite place to vacation. Congratulations on your engagement. Happy flying Glenn Hunt

Fantastic video one of the best aviation videos I have watched . Excellent I every repect. It really showed off the Pilatus and Switzerland. Just going to watch it one more time
Glad you enjoyed it!
My fave part is "SHE SAID YES!!!" Congrats Steveo!!!... Landing at GSTAAD is second favorite. Breathtakingly beautiful!
Why buy the cow, when you get the milk for free ?
Congrats on your proposal and thank you for sharing this amazing flight! What a treat to be able to fly it by end thru those mountains
Steve,
I am so happy for you and Julia on your engagement!
What a fantastic flight, the views are superlative
The PC-24 is a sweet plane, so smooth..
I read a lot of the comments,,, ditto here:)
I hope yo both have a wonderful summer and if this is an example
well WOW!
Cheers,
Frederick "Rik" Spector
It's that moment when you talk to a Swiss national and they apologise for only speaking 7 languages and yours isn't one of them. I've flown over the Alps a few times and seeing skiers on the pistes and the chair lifts is just mindblowing. They are just below you, enjoying the powder and mountain restaurants.....it is a wonderful experience. The Alps is a stunning place.....one of the very best places on our planet.....the mix of cultures, the music, the food, the people........
couple of things ;
1 best video you have ever made !
Pc-24, the real Swiss Aviation Tool 😄👍🏻
Beautiful flight. Next time make a circle around the the Matterhorn above Zermatt (my favorite place) I've been waiting for a view of the PC-24 since I've been spending so much time working on PC-12's at Aero Air at Hillsboro, Oregon. Switzerland is my favorite place to vacation. Congratulations on your engagement. Happy flying Glenn Hunt
The most incredible video I have ever viewed on your channel! Thank you for the fabulous views of Switzerland ❤
Wow! Love it! Proud to be citizen of this beautiful country 🇨🇭
I love the precise way Swiss people speak.
