I have never tried a tinted Moisturizer/Spf before but have always been curious. I do have oily skin and prefer a matte finish so this one sounds right up my alley!!
I am so excited for this review. I am currently using their daydream spf and this is my second jar, but I don't think I'll purchase it again because the pump stopped working with over half a jar of product left. It's a pain to unscrew the top to get out the product. This one sounds much better.
Oh no! My pump is still going strong. I'm past the halfway point and mine is still going strong but maybe they will consider putting the Daydream in the regular pump. I have wondered why they chose a different container for the Daydream vs the rest of the SPF products.
Absolutely! I am a HUGE Laura Geller Balance and Brighten fan: go.magik.ly/ml/12gz4/ I use the shade Fair. It is the most perfect soft demi matte finish! I have legit used it for YEARS. I would be devastated if it ever went away.
The original is actually the most drying spf I’ve ever used so I can’t imagine what the matte version is like. I have a super oily t-zone but I still quit using it because it made the crepiness on my cheeks and undereyes look so much worse. 😖
What is your normal go to SPF? Oily girl here and I found the OG to be pretty hydrating and a bit too glowy for my liking. Do you normally react well to octinoxate?
Does anyone feel the tinted moisturizer spf has an odd scent? It’s not a fragrance- I’m not sure what the smell is. Love the feel but puzzled w the scent
I liked the original Universal tinted and I didn't like their mineral tinted spf. I'm sure the new matte formula will be a winner.I've stopped using tinted sunscreen, so I think the Universal untinted would be better for me.
As someone who actually did not like the Australian Gold at all, I really like the DRMTLGY. Maybe that means you won't like the DRMTLGY lol. I found the AG to be very heavy and silicone feeling on my skin. I also felt like it didn't stand up to my oil production. If the AG is working for you, maybe stick with it. I would consider the finish of this to be much lighter than AG.

The original "viral" one went WAY beyond "glowy" for me all the way to greasy!! This oily gal will be giving this one a try!
No glow here so if that is the goal, this would be the best option for sure!

Same here! Dewy is ok in the winter, but not at all acceptable during summer lol. Plenty of dew going on naturally.

Yeah I’m using daydream but really don’t love it on my face, so I’m just using it on my back and chest.

I’ll have to try that dewy spf. Right now I’m still using my tinted color science. And I still have some Tula left. Both are good for no makeup days.
I really enjoyed the ColorScience back in the day. Have not repurchased in a while. Tula is a good one too!

I think it smells like SPF if that makes sense. It just kind of smells like "ingredients" to me personally.

I hate the smell. I threw away a brand new one bc of it.
It does have a very classic SPF scent to it. It's kind of nostalgic to me. Sorry you did not care for it tho.
