Thank you so much for doing this! There are so many skin tints, and it can be anything from a serum that barely gives any coverage to more of a BB/CC Cream and we don’t have money to be buying 50 million skin tints to try. Before a skin tint was just that and now they make them feather light but with some good coverage, and everything in between, so this has been so helpful.❤

She also makes the point of saying it’ll completely depend on your skin type and preferences, which is why she broke it down into categories so people can just look for the subcategory/coverage their interested in if they didn’t want to watch the whole video. 💌

It would be super helpful if you kept the name of the product underneath the whole time you’re talking about it!! I kept forgetting what product we were on 😂
Another recommendation that’s not in your top 36 would be ISDIN Eryfotona Ageless Sunscreen Zinc Oxide and 100% Mineral Tinted Sunscreen SPF 50+ On Light skin tone the shade is perfect. Does not smell like sunscreen has a slight floral fragrance that dissipates , it dries down quickly. Always get compliments on the smoothness of my skin when wearing the sunscreen alone. This sunscreen has never pilled with any skin care or make up product I’ve used. $70 seems alot on the surface but it’s 3.4 oz and lasts about a year using Using generous 1/4 tsp. My daily go to and highly recommended.
I love this ISDIN sunscreen! Their other products are great as well. I love their Melatonik oil. It has Melatonin in it, it’s wonderful. I use it every night. Just thought I’d mention it lol
This is iconic, but I don’t see my absolute favorite tinted sunscreen of all time: Bliss Block Star. It has a natural to matte finish, evens out skin tone, but most importantly, blurs pores like nothing else. For me, I have large pores on my nose that are very visible without a pore-filling primer, and this is the only sunscreen I’ve ever used that actually achieves that without clogging my pores. It’s also not overly-matte or drying. I have an oily t-zone and dry cheeks. A lot of makeup artists use this sunscreen as a primer. Anytime I wear it, people give me compliments on my skin. It has an herbal, lavender scent and is non-irritating (I have extremely sensitive skin). I don’t think I’ll ever stop using this product and singing its praises to anyone like me (combo skin, large pores, sensitive skin). 😊
Oh and also I have a neutral undertone and am about the same shade as Abbey. But I could see this sunscreen working for all skin tones except maybe the darkest Fitzpatrick shade 6.
I was really expecting this one to be in the list, it's one of the most affordable options, comes in three tints, and regularly sells out so I assume it's "viral"
I just finished a bottle of this, and it was perfect as a bb cream/ tinted sunscreen. I found that it blocked pores a little harshly and was difficult to fully wash off however.
Australian Gold tinted sunscreen is my favorite. It makes my skin look so good I want to wear it even at night. For me, it is better than other more expensive SPF.
I’ve been using it for years and love it. Sometimes it’s hard to find the lightest shade so I always make sure I buy more when I find it. It has never failed my oily skin and you can’t beat the price
I agree. WHY IS THAT??!! it is so difficult to find the lightest shade? It's not like it's just out of stock in places BUT a lot of places that carry the Australian Gold just simply don't appear to carry the lightest version at all? Where is anyone finding it (please)?
Yes!! It's my longtime go-to for combo sensitive rosacea skin. I'm in Canada and also have a hard time finding the fair shade in stores, but can usually get it on Amazon pretty reliably. I always make sure I have a backup on hand well before I run low!
For me the Australian Gold was too thick, a real paste actually. It stays matte which was perfect for my oily skin, but I prefer more lightweight formulas. The light colour was also not perfect, somehow rosy. Would not recommend!
Been using Iris and Romeo for 18 months and i can say it’s 1000% changed my skin for the better. I don’t use foundation anymore. Just this spf tint. And it’s kept my melasma at bay!
Just so interesting how different skin types react so differently. The Alastin is so great on my dry skin and is never blotchy or orange. The Elta MD is so orange on me. Thanks for all these breakdowns! Definitely some new options to try! Can’t wait to try the supergoop
I haven't had time to sit down and really watch this video but OMG Abby! These are my favorite videos of yours, and I'm always amazed by the effort you put into these. It really shows - the level of detail, the helpful clips and info on-screen, and my fav part is you showcasing your humor more! ❤️
For me the Australian Gold was too thick, a real paste actually. It stays matte which was perfect for my oily skin, but I prefer more lightweight formulas. The light colour was also not perfect, somehow rosy. Would not recommend!
Im surprised you didn't include the Neutrogena tinted mineral sunscreen in this video. I loved the format of your Korean sunscreen video from July 2022. Was hoping this would be as detailed as that one but I appreciate the amount of work and effort you put in to have this for us
I’m 70 years old and no longer wear foundation. I use CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen Sheer Tint 30. I’m very happy with the look and feel of CeraVe
I have a light cool skin tone and I'm oily. The cerave is a beautiful sunscreen but it's too warm and dark orange for me. Plus it's a Dewey finish which does nothing for my oily skin. I'm glad you like it. So affordable.
Such an in depth and thorough review. Thank God for DRMTLGY SPFs and you introducing it to us years ago. It’s the best bang for your buck time and time again.
I just started using the Naked Sundays and I love it! I’m 49 with dry skin and most makeup just makes me look older 😢 The naked Sundays is perfect to even my skin tone a bit without settling into fine lines or dry skin. It goes on easily and blends with very little effort. I add just a bit of finishing powder around my t zone. Looks good all day 🥰
Abbey! You’re amazing! This video was so so helpful! I’m 45 years old and I’m a busy working mom and this video is priceless for me. Saving me time, money and the stress of hours of searching and buying products that at worst, just don’t hold up to their claims or drop unsuspected bombs like nasty smells or pumpkin face (orange) and at best, look ok upon application and then by the end of the day, I look like a hot pizza tipped onto its side. You know, like things (eye liner, blush, etc.) have slid around and are not where I put them in the morning. I caught one line you said that has changed my perspective. You mentioned something about how you put on a non-tinted sunscreen first… it never occurred to me that I could double up. I need a moisturizing sunscreen to start my face prep in the morning and then a tinted sunscreen for a more foundation function that plays well with my other makeup and dries matte. I have dark spots all over my face now (boo sun damage and tanning beds in the 90s), and I can get the spots gone with cream from my dermatologist but they come back the second my skin gets any sun. It’s so frustrating but I think I may be able to mitigate that issue by using sunscreen. My niece Nicci referred me to you and I’m so sold! Your videos are so helpful! Thank you!!!
I love love love your product showdown videos! They’re so incredibly helpful. I can’t imagine the amount of time, cost and hard work you spent on making these videos!
Angie from Hot and Flashy loves the Saie Slip Tint. As a mature person, I tried it and loathed it. It’s so grassy, it gets everywhere. Now I use an untinted sunscreen first and let it set. ThenI use the Colorscience Flex. I can’t use enough of most tinted sunscreens because it’s just too much. But since I’ve already put on a clear sunscreen, this works for me. It’s perfect amount of foundation coverage for me.
I tried the Saie slip tint too. And I hate it! I want to like it because it looks so nice just out of the bottle. So I kept trying it. And every time I looked like a hot mess.
👋 Abbey. Are you using the full amount of the sunscreen? I am sure you are but I could not tell from the video. Some of those tinted ones it seems like that much would be just too much. Only half way through the video so you may say that before the end. Thanks for all the work I know went into making this video and all the others you do like this. ❤❤❤
Ahhhh! I’m so excited! I’m on the hunt for a tinted sunscreen, so this video couldn’t have come up on a better time. You’re the greatest Abbey!! Always there when I need you 💗
I just got Naelina tinted sunscreen and I love it so far. It has peptides, antioxidants, and ceramides and all mineral. Price is $28!! Just only 1 shade tho which is actually a perfect match for me.
Hi Abby, Love all your videos❤ Can you please do a video on Asian sunscreens, tinted & untinted please!! I am currently using the haruharu wonder Black rice moisture airyfit Daily Sunscreen SPF50+/PA ++++, very high protection. Have you ever tried this sunscreen & what are your thoughts & opinion of this sunscreen?? Thank you❤❤
YESSSSSS IVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS. I want a tinted sunscreen so bad but the ones I’ve tried all feel (and look) horrible on the skin. Plus they’re all orange on my very fair skin. I told myself I’d wait for your video before I went crazy online.
Wow I’m surprised that neither eucerin or cerave tinted spfs made it BUT my skin needs are quite specific lol. If you have dry skin in a very arid climate, these both are great for extremely dry skin that gets sensitive/fussy, and CVS (& possibly other drugstore apps) often gives $3-4 coupons or bogo deals on both brands, def the sweet spot for tight budget + temperamental skin with pathological dryness! I prefer the feel of the eucerin as it goes on, but cerave is fine & neither is unpleasant in any way.
I don’t feel like the Dr. Jart one has a bad smell at all. It sort of reminds me of how sunscreens smelled in the 90s. And it’s not noticeable after applying. I honestly use it exclusively instead of foundation at night as well since It really evens out my skin tone and doesn’t break me out. Great video!! 💗
Thanks. I definitely will check out the Ciele. My current HG, which you didn't include, is the Paula's Choice SPF 30 super light daily wrinkle defense. I've been using it for years. The mineral sunscreen is great for my sensitive skin, and it has light coverage with a natural finish that isn't too greasy/glowy on my combination skin. It's my go-to for light coverage while running errands, going to the gym etc. I also can wear on workdays with concealer and setting powder, although the wear time is less than a long-wearing foundation.
I'm mixing Elta MD Clear with tinted version and it's giving me very natural looking finish. I have oily, acne prone skin and only Elta MD doesn't break me out and doesn't irritates my eyes. That's why I'm afraid to test something else, once I found the one. Thank you for the video!
I highly recommend Dr. Sam’s Flawless Gossamer tint. She also has an untinted version. It is a mineral sunscreen and is lovely. She has a chemical sunscreen as well that is also very nice…I just prefer mineral sunscreen
Thank you!! Which is your favorite? I have and use a few of the ones you reviewed but still looking for my own personal favorite- drmtlgy universal is good but I still powder in some places I miss the og elta md uv elements .. maybe will try ciele but shades do sound tricky.. thank you again @abbeyyung 👑
I love tinted SPFs and tinted moisturisers/BB creams with SPF. My top faves I tried so far were that dr Jart Premium BB cream, Heimish Morinaga BB cream, NARS tinted moisturiser, Rare beauty tinted moisturiser. i tried Colorscience but absolutely hated it, it was so greasy and the shades were terrible. I have the Tower 28 and Saie ones on my wish list for what seems like forever, so definitely plan on getting those as I have dry skin. Almost all the others don't meet the sunscreen regulations in the UK so I can't get most of the US ones, I really wanted to try that supergoop one but oh well. Purito and Erborian also do really nice BB/CC creams with SPF
Great video as usual! I’d love to see an updated list of your all time favorite sunscreens. I’m currently loving the Colorscience Flex and was curious which you would now choose over it. Thanks for all of the hard work!
I am a diehard IT Cosmetics OG cc cream for daily use. I got it as a sample in my ipsy bag years ago and I've used it ever since. As for it being make-upy looking, simply use less. It's not hard. I use less than one pump for my ENTIRE face....with a brush to apply. Love Love Love.
Abbey, I would have loved to see what you think of the Australian Gold tinted SPF50. I’ve discovered it’s amazing when I’m travelling to really hot and humid places. It’s thick, thicker than foundation, but has good coverage and dries down matte. But the magic is that it does not move. Seriously, I sweat. I can be in Vietnam and look like I’ve just showered because I’m so sweaty, but the sunscreen is still perfect. The only problem is that it’s hard to get off. Double, triple cleansing required.
OMG! SAME GRAINY TEXTURE - I bought the Iris & Romeo early in Spring and had the same problem! It was as if it wasn’t mixed properly in the lab. I bought a 2nd and SAME PROBLEM! Thank you for taking one for the team!! I can’t even imagine how many hours & days this took you to try on AND THEN edit the video. Love the way you separated the products. 💕💖✨🩷
For the strangest reason I can never get along with DRMTLGY OG. I really haven’t found a lovely tinted. So thank you for reviewing so many I haven’t tried. For now, the only U.S.A. sunscreen I use is the UV clear from Elta. Thank you again Queen Abbey! I think I’ll find a good match from one of these ❤
Colorescience flex is so annoying to apply because of the texture, but the coverage has me in a chokehold 🤩 and shade fair is pretty much the only tinted spf out of everything I’ve tried that doesn’t look too dark or yellow on my very very fair skin. Strongly recommend to try for fair skin girls who struggle with everything looking yellow 💕
It's definitely my HG! It tones down the redness from my rosacea without being heavy, holds up in Houston's 103° weather with 90% humidity, and the Fair shade is perfectly neutral. For reference, I'm 58 with dry skin and fine lines. I buy a year's worth every Black Friday..lol
I always find that if I put on an untinted sunscreen as my base and then use a foundation brush to put on my tinted sunscreen, it seems to help out with a lot of tinted sunscreens that are too dark or orange for me. I have very fair skin. Plus it's double the protection🎉
@@dianatrif7085 I like the original in terms of formula, it feels more liquid and thin than the flex one. Tint is peachy pink, but it’s just a little too dark for me, flex fair is a lighter shade. Original has more of a glowy finish comparing to flex I find, and original has less coverage 😊 overall if the tint works for you, original is great option if you’re looking for something that feels more lightweight!
I have very oily skin with large pores, and my favorite is the COTZ Prime & Protect Tinted Sunscreen! Very natural, no white cast, mattifying, pore-blurring, and doesn't sink into my pores (leaving lighter dots) as it wears throughout the day. It's prob too dark for fair-skinned folks but just right for my light-medium Asian skin. It's silicone-based and feels like Benefit Porefessional primer.
I'm so surprised by your experience with the DRMTLGY Physical sunscreen! I have dry skin and love it. If anything, sometimes I feel like it makes my face feel a little oily (probably just compared to the dryness I'm used to feeling). I wear the DRMTLGY sooth and recovery cream under it, because I can't imagine going without a moisturizing lotion
The amount of work you put into this is astounding! Thank you! Would love to know which ones transfer to clothes the least. My issue with tinted spf is 1) looking like an oompa loompa and your swatches and try-ons fix that and 2) transferring to my clothes and turning me into a collared oompa loompa
Elta MD UV Physical spf 41 tinted has been my go to for about 15 years-I’ve probably gone through 20-25 tubes. My skin can’t handle any chemical filters and I pretty much try every new all-physical tinted release every year that is suitable for combo skin. This always wins. Definitely give it a try!
I heard it’s different since they reformulated (& ruined lol) their other formulas? They say they didn’t change UV Physical but tons of reviews say it’s not the same anymore?
@@Opalescenttreeshark I had concerns but I’ve used the new tube for about three weeks and I don’t see a difference. The price went up and we lost .4 oz-that sucks-but I find it to be exactly the same. Still 3 oz for about $40.
@@Opalescenttreeshark actually I just looked at an old bottle that I have yet to pull the last drops or two out of and I realize the change in ounces must have happened some other time. The old bottle says 3 ounces also. I remember it used to be 3.4 because I would get looks at TSA but I’d point out that was exactly a 3.4 ounce bottle.
@@jessigreerok that’s good! They ruined UV Elements on me by adding butoloctyl salicate to boost the SPF and it irritates the crap out of my skin. Physical is the only truly mineral one left it seems.
The BareMinerals has been my go to for a while now and i LOVE it. I have combo skin leaning a little more oily and it doesn't budge a bit when i set it, obviously.
Totally disagree with you on part of the Alastin sunscreen review.....it has hands-down been my favorite sunscreen, and I have normal to combo skin (can get oily in the t-zone), and I am much older - put this on with a Jane Iredale foundation, and my skin stays flawless all day; however, I do agree with you on the price - really ridiculous, and the price actually went up about $15.00 just in the past year. I used to get it with discounts offered by other sites, but I am hoping to try some of the ones you suggtested today. I have tried Drmtlgy, but those are a no-go for my skin. So glad there are many options there for us to try, and I do appreciate you going through ALL of these - it helps! (I was surprised Australian Gold was not in there.)
The alastin going patchy is fascinating??? It's good on medium skin tones. It has a gorgeous finish on me. Dewy yet oil controlling. Probably doesn't interact well with your skincare + skin chemistry. Since you like the Neutrogena tinted, you may also like the Stream2sea everyday tinted mineral sunscreen. It's like the Neutrogena but better. Unfortunately the tint is a neutral medium and it only comes in one shade, but it is def a true neutral medium when it dries down (applies lighter). The Bare Minerals looks similar to the TiZo tinted primer
Wow, great breakdown! I typically use like 1 pump of the Cetaphil tinted sunscreen as like a sheer makeup product on top of my regular sunscreen. I just can't ever see wearing enough tinted sunscreen to get much protection! And don't even get me started on transfer to clothes... 🙄
I have tried so many over the years and Cotz face prime & protect spf 40 tinted is absolute perfection! Nothing compares 😌 the silky matte finish is an absolute dream for my aging skin and it is so beautiful on its own but also makes for a really great primer 🫶🏻
I’m glad I’m not missing out on the alastin bc I have been wanting to try it but I really do want to try the Live tinted even more, I’m not sensitive to scent so I really want to try it
Wow, this took so much work and I really appreciate it. I do notice that many of them are actually marketed as foundation and it’s generally understood that you don’t get good sunscreen coverage with those because people don’t put on enough of it. I would be interested in knowing, what is your favorite tinted sunscreen that is truly a tinted sunscreen?
Love your sunscreen videos! I'm looking forward to trying some of these out. Just wanted to add that the Supergood Protec(Tint) isn't really cheaper than the Colorescience Matte. It just costs less because it comes in a smaller size. The Supergoop is $44.00 for 1.18 oz. At this rate it would be $67.12 for 1.8 oz which is the amount you get in the Colorescience Matte. The Supergoop is much more expensive!
Wow this was just what I needed. I’ve been using the Drmtlgy universal for a few years but I have been curious about other brands now that there are more options. Thank you so much! I would love to see a mini recap on your favorites at the end, because it can be hard to remember by the end of such a long comprehensive video
Hi Abbey! Does the Drmtlgy matte work for your skin tone if you don’t self tan (meaning you aren’t matching your face to your self tanner body)? PS I’m so glad you comment on fragrance, you saved me from buying the saie!
I LOVE the colorscience sunforgettable total protection spf flex sunscreen. I have officially stopped using foundation because it looks SO good with the maybelline loose finishing powder. If you no longer recommend the colorscience, what would you consider comparable?
DRYYYY skin girly here. I have both Drmtgly tinted spfs. I love both. Universal is super sheer, good for daily wear. Physical has slightly more coverage but still sheer. Both have the same longevity, i have worn the Physical to a dayclub, sweating, and then went out at night, face did not budge, was comfy all day. I use Prequel moisturizer during the day, i do use primer, i set with loose powder, and setting spray too.
Love your honesty. Totally trust your recommendations. My girlfriend loves the Alastin 76 dollar one, but I tried it and was like noooooo! And also, what are you wearing on your lips?!
This is amazing!!! I've been looking for this video forever!!!! I use origins tinted in the summer but starting around now my skin gets to pale for it and I literally just got the drmtlgy Matt universal in the mail today! Going to wear it for my everyday and now I just ordered allyoop thanks to your video for Sundays and date nights. I don't wear foundations so this is a wonderful video for me! Thank you so much! I'm now subscribing and going to find your video on allyoop as a makeup base
Omg ily abbey! Thank you for uploading it earlier, can’t wait to get home and watch, I’m so excited!! I need a new tinted sunscreen and had been waiting for this, thank you for all the effort and details you put into every video ♥️
My understaning is that DRMTGLY sunscreens are nano sized (less cast) and may not provide enough UVA protection (which is the rays that cause wrinkles/aging/hyperpigmentation)
You know I like you Abbey but high end isn't always best. Sometimes older is better also. My HG is Australian Gold and I have DRY skin. I have some advice about color tone. Don't forget pigments. They won't really change the SPF. For example, I use Jeffrey Stars Pink (very pink) corrector. Alittle goes a long way, and makes AG stunning on my cool undertone. It doesn't sink in my lines, glides smoothly, has nearly medium coverage, has no smell, water resistant, and obviously with an oil Cleanser is easy to get off, and it's affordable for a decent amount! I know you already said you used to like it, but you found better. But have you? 😂 Anyway, thanks for the in-depth video, take care. ❤🌞
Hello Abbey! I have a question which I'm hoping you can answer! What is more damaging to hair, lightening via 20vol and bleach or 30/40vol high lift? I have been using high lift recently and I think it seems better than bleach, but I have found very conflicting information online on which damages hair more, with even hairdressers I've asked giving me different answers! I would love to hear your opinion
Thank you Abby, what a great summary! Watched the whole video, but still cannot figure out your top 5, except of the ciele one and the drmtlgy matte and universal ones. Can you put it together?
My tip is to focus on finding the perfect colour - for instance Laura Mercier's tinted spf moisturiser in 'vanilla' is so good for me - then I mix it with just a pump of ByTerry CC serum in amber to give me extra glow and slip. So together I have perfect colour that looks like my skin, skin protection, coverage, and great hydration and skin care.
Love this, thanks Abbey!! I noticed you say (and you’ve said before) you still will wear sunscreen under the skin tints. Which one would you wear under the Ciele one? Or is that one good with no skincare underneath? I hate how some of them peel or get funny on top of serums and spf
Really appreciate all time and hard work that went into this video. I’m sure the last thing you want to hear is suggestions for other tinted sunscreens but I’d love your thoughts on Josie Maran Protect & Perfect spf 47 and Undefined R & R spf 50++++.
For some reason, I cannot leave a new comment?? I wanted to say I absolutely love the color of your hair! It's so flattering ❤ Anyway you could share the brand and colors your stylist uses?
Thank you for making this video! I have been looking for something like this for a long time to compare all of the tinted sunscreens and you nailed it!🎉. My first time watching and I will subscribe! I have 63-year-old skin that I'm always looking to enhance and I think I will try the dermatology matte and the ciele. Thank you again 🥰

How is this possible? I was just looking for a video exactly like this! Cheers to Abby the sorcerer 😂❤
hahaha perfect timing!! xx
@AbbeyYung Yes, indeed. Thank you so much, Queen!

The Australian Gold tinted mineral sunblock SPF 50 is amazing! And it’s water resistant too
I’m a gardener and use it daily, i have not burned yet, and barely have a tan
I was really expecting this one to be in the list, it's one of the most affordable options, comes in three tints, and regularly sells out so I assume it's "viral"
She made a dedicated video about this one 4 years ago if anyone's interested!
Right?! And the price per oz cannot be beat! You get 3 oz for $17 while other brands are like gimme $50 for 1 oz.
@@lindabenson1764I found mine at a Walgreens
For me the Australian Gold was too thick, a real paste actually. It stays matte which was perfect for my oily skin, but I prefer more lightweight formulas. The light colour was also not perfect, somehow rosy. Would not recommend!
Been using Iris and Romeo for 18 months and i can say it’s 1000% changed my skin for the better. I don’t use foundation anymore. Just this spf tint. And it’s kept my melasma at bay!
So which one is #1? 😬
Same I wish there was a recap at the end with top choices
It cosmetics full coverage. It's in the video description?
The snail component of the IT brand is a turn off lol
Just so interesting how different skin types react so differently. The Alastin is so great on my dry skin and is never blotchy or orange. The Elta MD is so orange on me. Thanks for all these breakdowns! Definitely some new options to try! Can’t wait to try the supergoop
Right? My mom loves Alastin too! Of course ❤
Could not agree more!! I Loveee Alastin and Elta is always orange on me
What??? I hate the Alastin, it feels so slimy all day, and my skin is like a desert.
I haven't had time to sit down and really watch this video but OMG Abby! These are my favorite videos of yours, and I'm always amazed by the effort you put into these. It really shows - the level of detail, the helpful clips and info on-screen, and my fav part is you showcasing your humor more! ❤️
Thank you 😭😭💗
The Australian Gold is also amazing if you have oily skin and want a matte option
I love this one so much...wearing it every day.
I have tried other tinted sunscreens and I always return to Australian Gold. I wear it on top of Summer Fridays and it looks so good.
Was hoping this would be as detailed as that one but I appreciate the amount of work and effort you put in to have this for us
It seems this was maybe the high-end version?
Hi Abby, could you do a Full face of Ciele?! And what you think of each product 😊❤
I’m 70 years old and no longer wear foundation. I use CeraVe Hydrating Mineral Sunscreen Sheer Tint 30. I’m very happy with the look and feel of CeraVe
Me, too. I started using this the last year and am happy with my results. Glad to hear someone else uses this.
I was wondering about this one. Does it leave much of a glow? Or is it more matte? Thank you for any info on it.
@@deann3621 it is more matte. Have a wonderful Saturday
@@deann3621 I don't notice a glow.
I have a light cool skin tone and I'm oily. The cerave is a beautiful sunscreen but it's too warm and dark orange for me. Plus it's a Dewey finish which does nothing for my oily skin. I'm glad you like it. So affordable.
The way you reacted to seeing your dog was up from her nap was so sweet!
Thanks for sharing such a thorough video!
Yay!! I’m so glad ❤❤
Amazing! Can we get an edit of your fave top ten?
No drugstore tinted sunscreens (Eucerin, Neutrogena, and Bubble)? :(
I noticed this as well
Abbey!!! The effort for this video is sooo appreciated you are killing it!! Also you have sold me on the ciele one, need to try that asap!
I love ColorScience!!❤❤❤❤❤
I tried Saie tinted moisturizer also, and it smells rancid. It doesn’t look good and I hated it, I threw it away. Waste of money.
Yep, Saie is super greasy on me too and just doesn’t last long enough. Currently loving the Colorscience Flex as well.
Do you use another sunscreen under this tinted sunscreen, if you do which one?
Always there when I need you 💗
so glad to help 😊
I just got Naelina tinted sunscreen and I love it so far.
It has peptides, antioxidants, and ceramides and all mineral.
Price is $28!! Just only 1 shade tho which is actually a perfect match for me.
Will it work for fair skin?
Where can you find it? I tried searching for it and there’s no results ☹️
We need tinted moisturiser show down next 😍
It‘s disheartening how many of these are only available in one shade
Wow I’m surprised that neither eucerin or cerave tinted spfs made it BUT my skin needs are quite specific lol. If you have dry skin in a very arid climate, these both are great for extremely dry skin that gets sensitive/fussy, and CVS (& possibly other drugstore apps) often gives $3-4 coupons or bogo deals on both brands, def the sweet spot for tight budget + temperamental skin with pathological dryness! I prefer the feel of the eucerin as it goes on, but cerave is fine & neither is unpleasant in any way.
I noticed that none of the recommendations were from the drugstore. These are mid high end price to range she reviewed.
She has another video for those about 11 months ago. She includes Neutrogena, Bliss and Australian Gold in that as well.
@@Kimmb1968 Thanks for the reminder!
Strongly recommend to try for fair skin girls who struggle with everything looking yellow 💕
that is totally valid! finding a good shade match is so hard
Hello, did you try Colorscience the original? I have the Flex now and I like it, was wondering how is the original compared to this?
My issue with tinted spf is 1) looking like an oompa loompa and your swatches and try-ons fix that and 2) transferring to my clothes and turning me into a collared oompa loompa
i use the NARS as makeup for years! it’s perfect for olive / yellow undertones 😊
I wish you would do a review on the Purito Cica Clearing BB Cream! It’s SPF 50 and so so so beautiful but I want to know your thoughts!
@@Opalescenttreeshark that really sucks. I don’t know what I would do if they wrecked this one too. Fingers crossed!
i sometimes put a video on and do some house chores but once you did your intro I was like NOPE this one is a SIT DOWN and FOCUS kinda video 😂❤
Thank you Abbey!!! This is the most comprehensive and helpful review video for all the tinted sunscreens I’ve been contemplating!😊❤
She’s a trooper for giving us this rundown I hope these brands sponsor her!!!!
I’m glad I’m not missing out on the alastin bc I have been wanting to try it but I really do want to try the Live tinted even more, I’m not sensitive to scent so I really want to try it
You will LOVE it then. I think it’s so much prettier than Alastin!
Can you do another video with drugstore brands. Love your style, thanks
Thanks, very interesting video! What about low cost good options?
Don’t know about the others but, the DRMTLGY products permanently stain clothing. If you wear it on your neck it will ruin your collar.
The tinted Eucerin & Avéne do this also :/
Omg 😮
Australian gold too. It’s an effort to wash off.
DRMTLGY sunscreen is so bad. I’m hoping Asian ones will be the answer bc I am SO done with American sunscreens. They’re such trash.
Can you rank these in terms of your favorite?
I’m so pumped for this video but I can’t stop staring at the super glossy gloss on your lips!! 😍😍 What gloss/lip combo is this!?
I use the Drmtlgy Matte over a matte primer and get terrific coverage. I use a little spot concealer and it’s replaced my foundation. ❤
Thank you so so much for this!! What would you recommend for acne prone skin?
I would love to know the brand and colors used in your hair! It's so beautiful 😍
Have you ever tried undefined r&r? I'd love to hear your thoughts???
Omg ily abbey! Thank you for uploading it earlier, can’t wait to get home and watch, I’m so excited!! I need a new tinted sunscreen and had been waiting for this, thank you for all the effort and details you put into every video ♥️
Yay! Hope you love it 🥰
Abbey, do you think the Ciele skint tint can be used as a stand alone sunscreen? Like, if you apply 1/4 a teaspoon, does it still look nice?
Haven't watched it yet but the Paula's Choice tinted sunscreen is beautiful, definitely must try if you haven't!
My understaning is that DRMTGLY sunscreens are nano sized (less cast) and may not provide enough UVA protection (which is the rays that cause wrinkles/aging/hyperpigmentation)
I might have missed it but do you wear a separate sunscreen under all of these? Wow, what a great video!! Thanks Abbey!!
There is no better for oily skin. Australian gold tinted is remarkable.
You've helped so many with hair care and skin and you are just amazing , I'm just one one of your millions of subscribers but girl thank you !!!!
Love this, thanks Abbey!! I noticed you say (and you’ve said before) you still will wear sunscreen under the skin tints. Which one would you wear under the Ciele one? Or is that one good with no skincare underneath? I hate how some of them peel or get funny on top of serums and spf
this is the most helpful and well researched youtube video i've seen in a long time thank u 😭
Abbey, for the Origins sunscreen, do you think the orange essential oil would provide some Vitamin C benefits, or is it likely just for the fragrance?
Hey Abbey great video❤ have you thought about making a video about chemical spf boosters in “all mineral” sunscreens?
THIS
Really appreciate all time and hard work that went into this video. I’m sure the last thing you want to hear is suggestions for other tinted sunscreens but I’d love your thoughts on Josie Maran Protect & Perfect spf 47 and Undefined R & R spf 50++++.
Such a thorough video on American sunscreens. Thank you
For some reason, I cannot leave a new comment?? I wanted to say I absolutely love the color of your hair! It's so flattering ❤ Anyway you could share the brand and colors your stylist uses?
Thank you for making this video! I have been looking for something like this for a long time to compare all of the tinted sunscreens and you nailed it!🎉. My first time watching and I will subscribe! I have 63-year-old skin that I'm always looking to enhance and I think I will try the dermatology matte and the ciele. Thank you again 🥰
This is an awesome compilation of so many sunscreens!! Great job sharing all the details.
My derm said to keep titanium dioxide away from the hairline to prevent hair loss. What do you think?
