Sleep with a hair bonnet!! I struggled to find a sleeping hair style as well also because of layers and this was the easiest fix for me. Plus my hair is always smooth in the morning and it’s actually so comfortable to sleep in
It was such a hard habit to stop, but I have stopped brushing my hair straight out of the shower when it’s still wet! It’s amazing!! I’ll never go back! 😅

Thanks as always for your fun and thought-out content! Have you ever tried a silk or satin bonnet for sleeping? I became a bonnet convert about 2 years ago and I love it. My hair is a lot shorter than yours but it works great for my wavy/curly hair. You could still do a twist and then put a bonnet over that. Just a thought!

Other thing is a silk / satin bonnet and a silk / satin pillowcase (that at all times). Have fun in New York! And do make vlogs while there 😉

I’m obsessed with the laundress detergent line for years and have all their products. Yes I know they had a problem with some bacteria or something and revamped the business and they are slowly getting back up to speed. Their artisan and 723 detergents smell divine! I’m sure they will bringing these products back as soon as they are to speed. They are a wonderful company.

I have a question: What do you think would be the best way to approach hair care, specially the styling of someone with naturally curly hair that wants to start straightening it. I know that it is impossible to change your hair texture with heat without some damage, but I just want to do it in the least damaging way possible. You recommend to towel dry the hair about 80% and then blow dry. But that's just impossible for someone with course hair. It would be a frizz ball. Thank you. 😊

Abbey you need to try the Better than Sex foreplay mascara primer. It's my favorite mascara primer. I think you would like it too. Some people say it's hard to remove but I don't think so.

Hi Abbey, I need some advice, 4 months ago I had a hip replacement and serious things happened to my hair. It’s very dry and underneath it’s very frizzy and I haven’t colored it in awhile so it’s very gray. I have used hair mask, leave in conditioner and it has not seemed to help. I have always had nice hair but I’m really upset because my hair has changed so much. What can I do for the frizzy hair underneath and also it doesn’t really want to hold a curl. What should I use?

I really need that fan, but the link in your description was the fan you showed us. Could you please give me the correct link.. I'm postmenopausal, and I could use a great mini fan for that and my skin care routine. You and your sister would love a powder product for the pink the stains a white dogs eyes, called Angel Eyes. Just mix it with their food once a day and you'll notice such a difference in the eye drainage. I used it for my Maltese, but also my tan Shi-chi, he had so much discharge and the Angel Eyes decreased it greatly! Give it a try. P.s. I'm a 59yr old wise woman, listen to my advise....😂😂😂
Fellow rosacea person here. I’ve had the Glenser since launch and I LOVE it! First, it’s huge I can’t see myself needing to restock anytime soon and I use it as face and body cleanser when traveling. I hope it works for y’all ❤
Hi Abbey, I have started incorporating your suggestions into my hair routine. I switched to the L'Oreal EverPure Bond Strengthening Shampoo&Cond + Treatment, OGX Coconut Miracle Oil and also use Wonder Water (not all at the same time). I have fine, blonde, highlighted hair. The problem is whenever I use any of these extra treatments I cannot get the hair to curl. ( I do waves similar to yours). My hair looks horrible when the curl falls. 2nd day hair REQUIRES a recurl. I feel like I am doing even more damage because I need to constantly touch up with the curling iron. Do you have tips for making the curl last on days you have used treatments? Thanks!
The scent of the Tocobo sunscreen definitely lingers for me, I could still smell the perfume just as strongly many hours later. Had to give it away because it was too overstimulating :( I hope they'll come out with a fragrance free version.
I'm obsessed with the scent of Hustle Butter, I'd love to know if you find a lighter weight body moisturizer with a similar scent. I definitely have used hustle butter all over my body before, but it's too thick for me to wear it that way on a regular basis.
Funny because in Canada we don't have the same NEW cetaphil acne cleanser. Mine it says Gentle SA cleanser with white tea and Aloe. The SA is the 5th ingredient in the list so it doesn't say the % of it compared of the US version that says 2% of SA. I gotta say that I do love mine and I am at my second bottle. I let it sit for a minute and it works wonderfully. I wish I could try the US one tho 😊
Hey Abby I have a question. My hair feels super duper heavy whenever I wash it. I use K18 and then the pureology color fanatic leave in conditioner and then the redken extreme hold heat protectant. Is that too much. If so what should I actually be doing after I get out the shower and style my hair ?
Thenoureology leave in has a heat protectant in it already so maybe try to leave the redken one out and see how it is? I'm assuming you're doing the extra heat protectant because you're blow drying and or heat styling after hair is dry, but again you don't need to double down if your hair is fine and is absorbing too much. Sometimes I'll use the pureology leave in, do it in sections avoiding the roots, then allow to air dry and see how it looks. Oil your ends with one drop of something like the olaplex oil or ouai has a nice smelling one and that should tame frizz. If it's still frizzy, you can try shampooing twice, squeeze excess water from hair and apply a hair mask, then use your conditioner and that makes my hair super silky. Oil last when hair is dry

For sleeping at night you have to do a bonnet. It’s not the cutest look but your hair won’t get all tangly and it will fit!

It’s very dry and underneath it’s very frizzy and I haven’t colored it in awhile so it’s very gray. I have used hair mask, leave in conditioner and it has not seemed to help. I have always had nice hair but I’m really upset because my hair has changed so much. What can I do for the frizzy hair underneath and also it doesn’t really want to hold a curl. What should I use?

You and your sister would love a powder product for the pink the stains a white dogs eyes, called Angel Eyes. Just mix it with their food once a day and you'll notice such a difference in the eye drainage. I used it for my Maltese, but also my tan Shi-chi, he had so much discharge and the Angel Eyes decreased it greatly! Give it a try.

Hi Abbey, I have started incorporating your suggestions into my hair routine. I switched to the L'Oreal EverPure Bond Strengthening Shampoo&Cond + Treatment, OGX Coconut Miracle Oil and also use Wonder Water (not all at the same time). I have fine, blonde, highlighted hair. The problem is whenever I use any of these extra treatments I cannot get the hair to curl. ( I do waves similar to yours). My hair looks horrible when the curl falls. 2nd day hair REQUIRES a recurl. I feel like I am doing even more damage because I need to constantly touch up with the curling iron. Do you have tips for making the curl last on days you have used treatments? Thanks!

The scent of the Tocobo sunscreen definitely lingers for me, I could still smell the perfume just as strongly many hours later. Had to give it away because it was too overstimulating :( I hope they'll come out with a fragrance free version.

I'm obsessed with the scent of Hustle Butter, I'd love to know if you find a lighter weight body moisturizer with a similar scent. I definitely have used hustle butter all over my body before, but it's too thick for me to wear it that way on a regular basis.

Funny because in Canada we don't have the same NEW cetaphil acne cleanser. Mine it says Gentle SA cleanser with white tea and Aloe. The SA is the 5th ingredient in the list so it doesn't say the % of it compared of the US version that says 2% of SA. I gotta say that I do love mine and I am at my second bottle. I let it sit for a minute and it works wonderfully. I wish I could try the US one tho 😊

Hey Abby I have a question. My hair feels super duper heavy whenever I wash it. I use K18 and then the pureology color fanatic leave in conditioner and then the redken extreme hold heat protectant. Is that too much. If so what should I actually be doing after I get out the shower and style my hair ?
Thenoureology leave in has a heat protectant in it already so maybe try to leave the redken one out and see how it is?
I'm assuming you're doing the extra heat protectant because you're blow drying and or heat styling after hair is dry, but again you don't need to double down if your hair is fine and is absorbing too much.
Sometimes I'll use the pureology leave in, do it in sections avoiding the roots, then allow to air dry and see how it looks. Oil your ends with one drop of something like the olaplex oil or ouai has a nice smelling one and that should tame frizz. If it's still frizzy, you can try shampooing twice, squeeze excess water from hair and apply a hair mask, then use your conditioner and that makes my hair super silky. Oil last when hair is dry
