The Ethyl Ferulate in sunscreens causes rashes in some people. MyChelle and Babo have this. So does Kosas tint. Found this out because the original Biossance spf ( which caused me massive allergic reaction) was recently reformulated without this ingredient and they announced on their webpage that this had caused problem for their customers so they eliminated it.
@amypovak4750 Oh, thank you so much! I had a bad reaction to the reformulated MyChelle - redness and irritation. I had a severe reaction to the Babo Botanicals with redness, irritation, a rash and swelling that required a visit to urgent care where they prescribed high dose steroids. I don't have sensitive skin nor an allergy to wheat, and these are the only skin products I've ever reacted to. Now I know what ingredient to avoid!
Wow! Thank you so much!! I had the worse contact dermatitis from both Summer Fridays SPF as well as Versed SPF and couldn’t figure out why. They both indeed have Ethyl Ferulate. So grateful to you. This has been plaguing me for years since I couldn’t figure out the culprit. Happy to send you my R&R Sun Serum for your detective work. Shoot me a DM since I’m not sure YT will let me include my email
Yes! Same with MyChelle, Babo and Biossance for me. I am allergic to shell fish and the ethyl ferulate is somehow related (derived?) and I got hives and a rash from Biossance that lasted 8 weeks. I didn’t know they reformulated but I still would be scared to try it. 😳
I don’t have a shellfish allergy…and hope I don’t develop one. But I do have sensitive skin, rosacea and allergies to other things. I don’t know if ethyl ferulate is limited to just spf or if it’s in other cosmetic concoctions but I read labels thoroughly since this has caused me trips to the ER.
Aussie Gold is my year-round GoTo. Under color products, or as a base & primer all by itself. Perfect here in Southern California, even with my rosacea and its moody dry-to-oily patches through the seasons. Hope they never change it!
In the latest Consumer Reports they tested sunscreens and Australian Gold rated 18 out of 100 with poor UVA and SPF, delivering only a Average Tested SPF of 4. I really loved this sunscreen the best for my oilier skin so was so disappointed to read this!
I thought the Australian Gold would’ve worked for me since I used to have more oily skin, maybe it wasn’t oily enough. It’s very heavy, almost glue like, dried my skin up and extremely uncomfortable to wear. However, I do appreciate the variety of sunscreens Angie gives us as we are all so different in our needs/preferences.
I have oily mature skin. Australian Gold on its own is too drying. I wear either Beauty of Josean or Summer Fridays as my main sunscreen and I top it off with just a bit of AG as if its my foundation. It's amazing!
The Elta MD UV Lements contains Butyloctyl Salicylate which is very close in chemical composition to the chemical sunscreen Octisalate. Colorscience uses it as well. Many brands do. It's used as a booster for UV protection and I think it's fair to say if a sunscreen contains it, it isn't a truly mineral only sunscreen. Not necessarily a problem in the formula, but it's disingenuous for brands to be scaremongers about chemical filters when they're using one.
Australian Gold has been my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE every single day ever since you introduced it! I use serums and castor oil underneath and have NO issues with drying, and actually like that it dries to a matte finish despite my serums and oil. Love love love it! Also, you cannot beat the price point for the amount of product! Thanks, Angie!
Angie is the reason I started using sunscreen daily, too. And it began in 2017 with the Australian Gold. I still love it, with the Haruharu Wonder being my favourite chemical sunscreen. I shudder to think what my skin would look like had I not found Angie!
Australian Gold is the BEST for Caribbean heat! Sweat beads formed on top. No breaking down at all. Tap off the sweat and keep it moving. I loved! Very drying underneath indeed that’s why I haven’t repurchased but I might soon!
I love the Australian Gold sunscreen. I started using it several years ago based on Angie's recommendation. I play a lot of pickleball and this is the only sunscreen that doesn't get into my eyes when I sweat. It does have more of a matte finish and my skin tends to be dry, but I still does a beautiful job of protecting my skin and not making my eyes water. I will also use it on my arms and chest. Best sunscreen I have found when doing outdoor activities! ❤

Haruharu also makes a mineral sunscreen - it’s untinted and can leave a bit of white cast but otherwise the formula is super nice and never irritates my sensitive dry skin!
I came looking for someone who had mentioned that there are two haruharu sunscreens: the one Angie has that uses newer chemical filters and the mineral one, which is probably what people are asking about. Here's hoping Angie sees one of our comments and tries the mineral one and can add it to the ranks!
If they ever discontinue Australian Gold i won't be able to live anymore! I'm so glad Angi introduced us to this. It's sheer perfection for my textured combo skin. It out performs everything I've every tried, low end, high end, tinted moisturizer and foundations! 🙇🏼♀️
I, like many of you, love Australian Gold. It's perfect for the beach. I also use the Neutrogena for my summer makeup. So happy these are on the "list "
One of my go-to sunscreen for dealing with acne-prone skin is littlllextra rice berry SPF 50+ sunscreen. The major issues I face with a lot of sunscreens are that either they lead to breakouts or they dry out my skin and burn. However, this sunscreen doesn't do this and it applies great under makeup which as an acne-prone girl I nearly daily wear.
I've got super oily skin, and I've also used Rice Berry sunscreen. It’s hands down the best sunscreen I’ve ever tried. No whitecast at all and feels super light. I would highly recommend this to those who have extremely oily skin like me.
That sounds like a great sunscreen, where would you find it? I looked on Amazon but it doesn’t seem to be there… would you happen to know how to find it in AZ?
I now use the Haruharu as my everyday sunscreen. It’s foolproof, economical and I forget it’s on. I still use the Australian Gold if I’m going to the beach or the pool. It gives me just enough color without makeup and wears like iron. Thanks for all your testing over the years. My skin thanks you too!
The ingredient in the Mychelle SPF that causes the rash for me is the ethyl ferulate (confirmed via dermatology allergy testing) - it’s a derivative of ferulic acid and is a fairly new ingredient in the industry. It’s only in the tinted version, so those who otherwise liked this one might want to check out the un-tinted option. It’s also in Pipette baby mineral SPF 50 sunscreen.
You turned me onto Australian Gold Tinted YEARS ago. I've tried everything else,..Australian Gold is AMAZING. It's my ride or die. BEST SPF EVER.... Thank you for recommending it.
#1 Australian Gold, for oily or combo skin. Wears great under makeup. For years, I hated wearing sunscreen on my face because it felt greasy and slimy, and any makeup would slide off. The Australian Gold sets down perfectly! 🌟
For me the culprit ingredient in the Mychelle sunscreen is Butyloctyl Salicylate. I confirmed this with another sunscreen that has the same ingredient. I’m so happy Australian Gold was #3. It’s my HG sunscreen.
Angie, next year, can you include powder sunscreens for touch up’s? And lip balm sunscreens! ❤ Also, I signed on with Agency from the link on your Glam Girl Gabi video. I use it only 2-3 times a week (following my provider’s recommendation) because I’m super sensitive and have rosacea, but wow - I already see a difference in my texture and I’ve had no negative reactions. I love the cleanser and moisturizer too!
Love the Revlon spf 20 Strawberry Kiss tinted lip balm. Has a bit of pink color and is not goopy, but not hard like a chap stick. Lip protection is important!
Angie, I love your annual sunscreen videos and was hoping you'd do an all-star edition, and here it is! This is so helpful! Thank you for the hard work you put into your videos! It is much appreciated!
Thanks Angie! I personally loved First Aid Beauty sunscreen for all the reasons Angie talked about UNTIL it stained my clothes. I don’t buy it anymore after it permanently stained my 3rd shirt
I got a new R and R from the company, and it broke down, too. I also use a 50 on my face every day. I need to find a 50 for my body within the next week as I'm going to the beach. I hate not being able to just sunbathe, but I'm paying the penalties for my youth. I have basal cell carcinoma that comes around every once in a while. My beach chair has a roof, and I have a hat and cover-up. I hope you have a great weekend! Hoping your furbaby is recovering nicely! ~lori❤
Your vaca sounds lovely Lori! Furbaby is doing great! Have you tried Banana Boat Light As Air? It's SPF 50 & one of my fave body sunscreens! Also love Hawaiian Tropic Sheer Touch SPF 50!
I will try one of those! Thank you. My old dog was petrified of fireworks and these two aren't and they are coming with. I get to see fireworks for the first time in a loooong time! Plus we are right across the street from my daughter's in laws. They own there. Its my birthday and my SILs birthday! So, yeah. I think it will be fun!@@AngieHotandFlashy
Finding the ideal mineral sunscreen is definitely an epic quest! I ended my search by formulating my own. It took 40+ test batches but Photonic is on the market now and we have a PA+++ rating, got a mention in Vogue last summer, and have been making a lot of people very happy. I can't wait for more people to try it this year. Hopefully we can make it into your next mineral sunscreen video! 🤩
Everyone..have a wonderful day..blessings and much love to you all ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
The Australian Gold is my HG sunscreen. It acts as my SPF, moisturizer and primer in the summer. Winter I need a layer of light moisturizer in addition to the SPF. It’s so good. I mix medium and light depending on the time of year.
I’ll happily suffer with a little “flaw” in a sunscreen if it’s priced well. I just can’t justify spending over $20 with the amount you need to use to get the SPF. That’s why I love Cerave and AG. THX Angie! 🎉❤
I’m a huge fan of the Haru Haru sunscreen. It’s great to have a sunscreen that doesn’t irritate, itch, or smell bad. I also find it’s very compatible with makeup. I really appreciate how HotandFlashy puts the work into comparing so many different sunscreens!
Love this and appreciate you makinng these every year. I have worn several and really like Elta MD. I used to enjoy Cereve until I noticed that they use aluminum in the ingredients and it got me nervous due to connections between aluminum and Alzheimer's disease. Not sure whether different types of aluminum matter but I avoid antiperspirants, cookware, and products that use aluminum as an ingredient.
I used the Neutrogena and loved everything about it except that it would stay wet all day long, and I have very dry skin. I did start using the undefined on your recommendation and I've been using it for a couple of years now and love it.
Yay Australian Gold in the top 3 !!! Its been my HG for years. Its the only mineral sunscreen that works on my 55 yo , combo oily , darker tan skin. I have not found any other sunscreen that offers deeper shades in a semi matte finish. Do most chemical K- sunscreens lack tinted shade range?
The Australian Gold is THE one for summer in hot humid weather. I love the matte finish and it wears all day, even if you sweat and swim. The flip side is it's hard to remove. I use cetaphil or cera ve cream first, and then wash it off with cleanser. I wish it came in more shades bc the lightest one is a tiny smidge too dark for my porcelain skin. But it's still my favorite sunscreen of all time - so far! Thanks Angie, for this useful video! ❤
Hey Angie! I dont know if I've ever thanked you before, but I found my way to Australian Gold a few years ago from your recommendation. My absolute favorite, under makeup or by itself as a foundation/base. Super product, no irritation of my moody rosacea with seasonally alternating dry and oily areas. I'm in Southern California, so a good SPF is a must every day! Thank you for your exhaustive testing!
Hi! Thanks for this video. Haru Haru has a mineral only version that comes in purple packaging. You can try it to give us a review. I think it will be good for combination to oily skin types.
I have been using Australian Gold for years but it can feel a bit too matte for my dry skin. I love the CeraVe but holy oil slick! I mix a drop of CeraVe with a dollop of Australian Gold and the combo is pretty close to perfection. With or without makeup. Thanks for the recs.
✨❤️ISDN tinted is my Holy Grail for every day❤ but for weekend outdoor activities in the hot humid summer or water activity, the Australian Gold is unbeatable ‼️✨
@@sandygonzalez3069 I have to admit I used it sparingly, as a kind of "makeup" for work, and not for the beach or outside exercise, where I would slather on a less expensive tinted sunscreen from Neutrogena, Eucerin or CeraVe.
Hi Angie whilst the USA is ahead in many things sunscreen isn’t one of them and I think the Australian or European spfs are the best you can buy. I have extremely dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin which is incredibly reactive to many ingredients including zinc which really dries me out. I use Ultrasun as it’s longwear (tested to be the spf on the bottle after eight hours) and it doesn’t irritate my skin. It’s a combination spf with chemical new filters and titanium dioxide. It’s fragrance free and available in many finishes including tinted, glowy, extra lightweight serum style or even a true gel vehicle. They do a mineral version but I haven’t tried that one as I know it’s drying on my skin and I am happy with the longevity of the normal formula. Far East eg Korean and Japanese formulas have become really popular but few of them are water resistant and ultrasun is so it’s excellent as a beach or everyday spf. It does pass the Australian testing which is the most stringent in the world, but there are many others available in the EU or Australia that may be just as good. I can’t use the old chemical filters at all but there are so many newer chemical filters available in the rest of the world that may be just as gentle (or even more so) than mineral spfs. Best wishes x
Haruharu wonder is my favorite for non-tinted. They do have one that is a thicker consistency and takes a while for the white cast to dry down. Drmtolgy has a tinted matte one now and I like it. It is not extremely matte in the hot weather. I used to love the Australian Gold especially in the summer but can't find the lighter shade. Medium to tan is too dark for me, so I used to mix it half and half with the light shade. Thanks for the review that you do for your viewers.
I love the first aid beauty mineral sunscreen. I used it in Arizona when I was visiting in April but my go to right now has been the Dr Jart BB tinted moisturizer 44 SPF.. I absolutely love it and use it as a foundation on my make up no make up days.
So surprised not to see Skinceuticals Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 not mentioned! It's my hands down favorite mineral sunscreen, so lightweight and gentle! I'd highly recommend it! I have a gluten allergy and had the same skin rash issues with the sunscreens containing wheat. Finally found this one after years of searching!
I don't have a wheat allergy but I'm sensitive to coconut & coconut derivatives (which is in SO many hydrating products) which is why I love the Babo Botanicals
Thank you Angie. Mineral sunscreen is my only option because all others sting my eyes. Australian Gold works great for me in summer and Cerave is good for dry skin weather. I probably wouldn’t even use sunscreen if you hadn’t helped me with it.
ISDIN is terrific, love both their tinted and untinted versions. Excellent coverage, plays well under make up and lasts long. doesn’t sting eyes. My fav in a long while.
I’ve been loving your recommendations for years, but recently I saw Naked Sundays mineral tinted spf and tried it out. I really enjoyed it with and without makeup, I’ve been using Australian gold for years… but I think the naked Sunday ties… over 20% zinc oxide, water resistant and applies beautifully but… slightly more expensive than AG mineral tinted
Well after your recommendation I used Australian gold but now im using it for oil and sweat control product in summer also it makes your skin permanently normal to dry if you are oily person. It is the must in summers.
Been using Australian Gold since 2017 and it has been my go to ever since. It’s very easy to put on and stays all day. Never had any issues with UV protection. I have oily skin and this stay dry all day. Love the matte finish!
Great video! I have used so many of the sunscreens you talked about today ( thanks to you). As an oily skin girl, I love the Babao and MyChelle sunscreen. It looks like foundation (particularly MyChelle). I am Canadian, I wear the CereVe sunscreen in the winter and Australian Gold in the summer, perfection. I love how you describe each sunscreen and suggest who would it would suit. I will try a couple more of your suggestions. As a Canadian I can’t get some of these sunscreen delivered here, so I will pick them up them up when I am in the states next time.
Hi Angie!!! this was perfect timing....my reliable elta MD changed its formula...to greasy for me now.....and I loved it so much, these are definitely great alternatives...Thank you and appreciate you!!!
Try UV Physical. Unless they reformulated that one since my last tube, it is good for oily skin. I had to add a little more moisturizer for my 62 year old skin.
Oh no! I just bought two bottle of the R&R! The number one was sold out so I got your old fav, and didn’t know it was reformulated. I noticed yesterday my makeup just disappeared. :(
Etude Surprise SPF 50 ++++ (four pluses) is my favorite mineral sunscreen. It's the sister product of Etude Surprise chemical which us SPF 50 +++ (three pluses). It's confusing because the bottles are the same except the mineral has a yellow stripe towards the bottom if the bottle! 😊😊
This is exactly what I was wondering after the last sunscreen video for 2024. Thanks for making this video to help answer that and help me choose what to try!
I use many of your suggestions. I tend to wear different ones at different times. I keep a selection in my rotation. I have tried a few new ones they may be of interest to you. 1. Saint Jane Luxury Sun Ritual pore smoothing SPF30 sunscreen. This looks fantastic under makeup! 2. French line I picked up from my facial person. Alumier tinted sunscreen. I use the Isdin but the tint turns too warm and orange on me. The mineral powder stick from Isdin is a favorite for touch ups during the day. Thanks for another great video!
Good Morning ,Angie!😊❤ Thanks for organizing these top 15… It was fun to find out where they all ranked. I had about six of them in my rotation at one point or another and found I like them all but for different reasons. It seems I need about 12 sunscreens at a time.. lol.😂 Oh well..summer is here so they will get used up! 😊
Great run down Angie. Thank you so much for continuing to push the importance of wearing sunscreen every day and to wear the recommended amount of 1/4 tsp. Few do that but we all must continue to push this!!!! I wanted to love the R&R but can’t get past the smell and having combo skin, it’s super shiny on me. Love the Australian Gold and Eltamd. Absolutely love the HaruHaru!
I LOVE your sunscreen videos! I've lived in the Arizona desert my entire life and need the best I can get. Thank you Angie! I use Australian Gold and Elta MD the most because of you. 😊❤
I love the Haru Haru chemical sunscreen. It works the best under makeup for me since I still have oily skin. On non-makeup days I rotate between the First Aid and Undefined. I am so thankful Angie does these tests for us so we don’t have to!
Thank you, Angie. These videos are always helpful and informative! I am in the middle of morning skincare and I have my Healthy Skin Lab sunscreen at my fingertips. Yay! I alternate days using it or my Alastin or Elta MD. I sure wish I'd had these sunscreens decades ago then I wouldn't be fighting the sun damage dark spots on my cheeks. It's a daily contest with devices and skincare trying to keep them less noticeable. Sigh!😔
Thank you for your videos; especially the ones about mineral sunscreens. I was look forward to hearing from you about the best mineral sunscreens. The only problem is that most of them are hard to find here in Canada. Thanks again for testing them out.
@@leeannboland631 thabks for the reply! Its getting harder to find the deeper shade of Australian Gold, so needing to search for another true matte formula 😊
While I loved the Australian Gold, even the lightest shade was too dark for me. An alternative is the Ulta Tinted Mineral Face Lotion SPF 30. Ulta's site shows it looking white but it's def tinted, and while it's still a tad too dark for me, it works better, shade wise, than the Australian Gold. The Ulta option is actually the ONLY sunscreen that actually dries down matte for me. Literally every single other SPF I've tried stays tacky on my skin. The Ulta is my winner by a long shot! I'd love to get your opinion on a new one I'm trying by Carpe, it's only SPF 30 but it's really nice. Another great video Angie!!!
I wanted to like the Australian Gold, but it is too drying and orangey for my older but combo light/med skin. I love the Haruharu Wonder sunscreen! It does not irritate my eyes, it is colorless, it comes off easily in a single wash, it is not greasy or too drying. Thanks to Angie I learned about it.
I've been using and liking Dr.G Green Mild Up Sun+ . I appreciate that it has antioxidants like pycnogenol for extra protection and it's also formulated in a way to shield the skin from pollution and irritants, which is helpful for people with sensitive and rosacea skin. The satin finish is so nice and non-heavy/shiny!
Angie is the GOAT on sunscreen reviewing!
So glad to see Australian Gold still ranking so high on the list. It has been my HG for the beach since you first talked about it in 2017!
It's just so good!! I can't imagine it ever not being in the top 5!
This has been the 1 sunscreen that I always fall back on. I recently got my tretinoin RX bumped up to .14% and now it’s drying me out! LOL
Me too!! And inexpensive too.
Same - I love it!
I love the finish of it but even the lightest shade is a bit dark on me until I get a tan.
I like how women help other women with ideas and products that are good

Australian Gold is my go to in the summer
I'm 68 with oily skin and I love the Australian Gold except they need more shades. The medium/tan is too dark for my light/medium skin.
Aussie Gold is my year-round GoTo. Under color products, or as a base & primer all by itself. Perfect here in Southern California, even with my rosacea and its moody dry-to-oily patches through the seasons. Hope they never change it!
It’s great for humid hot summers but I do find it more drying than others. This summer has been pretty cool in Canada so I haven’t been using
For me, the Australian Gold is that elusive combination of perfectly matte without any drying.

For me the culprit ingredient in the Mychelle sunscreen is Butyloctyl Salicylate. I confirmed this with another sunscreen that has the same ingredient. I’m so happy Australian Gold was #3. It’s my HG sunscreen.
Butyloctly Salicylate can be irritating & it's being used more & more in mineral sunscreens...
Good to know. I believe that's the booster that's been added to some mineral sunscreens to up the SPF rating.
I wonder if that’s what’s in the reformulated Elta MD UV elements? It gave me a rash on my neck. I never had a problem with the original one.
So I checked and it doesn’t have this ingredient, but the Cetaphil face liquid spf 50 does, and I used it on my neck 😕
I'd also love to hear Angie's reviews on powder sunscreens
Love the Revlon spf 20 Strawberry Kiss tinted lip balm. Has a bit of pink color and is not goopy, but not hard like a chap stick. Lip protection is important!
I use the Derma E powdered sunscreen 30SPF. It is in a tube with a built in brush. Great for touch ups and keeps the shine down.
I love the Color Science SPF. Sometimes I use it instead of foundation. I’ll mix fair, medium and glow. It looks nice.
In humid Florida, ColorScience is the only one that holds up for me.
Thank you, have a wonderful day! 💜

Australian Gold is my fav, on my 4th tube!
The Australian Gold is my HG sunscreen. It acts as my SPF, moisturizer and primer in the summer. Winter I need a layer of light moisturizer in addition to the SPF. It’s so good. I mix medium and light depending on the time of year.
Babo is my favorite! How about doing a video for body sunscreen? 😎
Sunscreen is so important, so I truly appreciate all the time and effort that goes into your videos!!! Thank you very much!💕
Yes! Using sunscreen daily for 10 years has made a huge difference in my skin!!
Yes just in time for summer! Still loving the Haru Haru. Boy I have really got to concentrate on reapply thru out the day - I forget to do that!
I love the former ELTA MD formula. I recently bought the former version on the Walmart website.
I feel the same! I managed to recently find a two pack of the original on Amazon. I’ll be sad when I can’t get it anymore.
My ultimate favorite sunscreen is Australian gold, it's great!!❤😊
I used the Neutrogena and loved everything about it except that it would stay wet all day long, and I have very dry skin. I did start using the undefined on your recommendation and I've been using it for a couple of years now and love it.
Australian gold has been my go to and I got my husband and cousin hooked ❤
Hoping to see you try the new Olay Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen SPF 30 with colloidal oatmeal and zinc oxide. It is wonderful!
Love this and your other sunscreen videos! Surprised Paula’s Choice didn’t make the cut.
Me too! The Super Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30 is excellent!
Thank you for this video! Still wish the Elta md hadn’t been reformulated😢but have ordered the healthy labs and looking forward to trying it!
Hi! Thanks for this video.
Haru Haru has a mineral only version that comes in purple packaging. You can try it to give us a review. I think it will be good for combination to oily skin types.
I tried it but it left a strong white cast...
I’ve been using the colorscience flex daily with no foundation. I get so many compliments on my skin it’s crazy!
I've gotten more compliments from this sunscreen than I have from any other.
What color? I use the fair, but wanted to try med. Worried med is too orange? What do you think?
@@sandygonzalez3069 I use the medium, and it was a little dark, but not orange. The fair made me look washed out.
@@sandygonzalez3069 I have to admit I used it sparingly, as a kind of "makeup" for work, and not for the beach or outside exercise, where I would slather on a less expensive tinted sunscreen from Neutrogena, Eucerin or CeraVe.
I think I have seen almost all of your 9 years of these. Such a great video. And so helpful
I couldn’t agree more 👍🏻
Hi Angie! Love your videos! Please consider doing an updated “Makeup 101” with all of your brushes and new product favorites. I need help! 😂
I totally agree with you
I love the first aid beauty mineral sunscreen. I used it in Arizona when I was visiting in April but my go to right now has been the Dr Jart BB tinted moisturizer 44 SPF.. I absolutely love it and use it as a foundation on my make up no make up days.
I would love to see this video updated every year ❤
The Australian Gold in the lighter tint is my HG, but It's getting harder to find. The Myshelle and the Babo make my face burn/sting.
I found the HaruHaru Wonder SPF from you, Angie and it has been my favorite this year!
I tried the Australian Gold sunscreen per your recommendation and it blew my mind. Bringing it on my poolside resort vacation next week 😎☀
So surprised not to see Skinceuticals
Physical Fusion UV Defense SPF 50 not mentioned! It's my hands down favorite mineral sunscreen, so lightweight and gentle! I'd highly recommend it! I have a gluten allergy and had the same skin rash issues with the sunscreens containing wheat. Finally found this one after years of searching!
No one gives it any love. I think it's fantastic!
I ordered your #1 pick. Thanks! I also started tretinoin through agency per your rave review of it (also dark spot formula). 👍🏻
I had wished for this video, and I jumped on it when I saw it. Thank you…you are my ‘holy grail’ for all things skin-related❣️
You should try Dr Sam's Bunting mineral suncreen it's great for normal/combination/oily skin and looks great under makeup even in the summer.
AG is still one of my favs!
I LOVE that you did an all star series. Love your reviews so much, so thorough.
Hi Angie!!! this was perfect timing....my reliable elta MD changed its formula...to greasy for me now.....and I loved it so much, these are definitely great alternatives...Thank you and appreciate you!!!
I have a pre-cancer spot on my face at 51 so your list is my go-to now! Mychelle works and I have to try the Australian Gold.
What a great, comprehensive and informative video, thanks for sharing❤️
Great run down Angie. Thank you so much for continuing to push the importance of wearing sunscreen every day and to wear the recommended amount of 1/4 tsp. Few do that but we all must continue to push this!!!!
I wanted to love the R&R but can’t get past the smell and having combo skin, it’s super shiny on me. Love the Australian Gold and Eltamd. Absolutely love the HaruHaru!
Omg, the skin lab one works so well with makeup! I’m pretty shocked. Amazing as a primer
I LOVE your sunscreen videos! I've lived in the Arizona desert my entire life and need the best I can get. Thank you Angie! I use Australian Gold and Elta MD the most because of you. 😊❤
Colorscience is my number one. I try them all and go back to CS.
Thank you, Angi! I love the Haru Haru, wish it came in a tinted form. It’s the first sunscreen that I have been consistent with. Have a lovely day!
Awesome!!
I love the Haru Haru chemical sunscreen. It works the best under makeup for me since I still have oily skin. On non-makeup days I rotate between the First Aid and Undefined. I am so thankful Angie does these tests for us so we don’t have to!
Thanks!
You're welcome & thank you!
Sigh!😔
I wish we had better sunscreens back in the day too!
Thank you for your videos; especially the ones about mineral sunscreens. I was look forward to hearing from you about the best mineral sunscreens. The only problem is that most of them are hard to find here in Canada. Thanks again for testing them out.
I kept waiting for drmtlgy physical tinted spf. You have the BEST sunscreen round ups! Thanks lady
They have a matte formula that ive been wanting to try out
I love it - my favorite for my sensitive skin.
@@leeannboland631 thabks for the reply! Its getting harder to find the deeper shade of Australian Gold, so needing to search for another true matte formula 😊
@@midlifemom5829 me too I’m no,ding out for at least the 25 percent sale.
Love this! I’m fair with dry skin. That color science was awful on my dry skin. I mostly stick to the Korean sunscreens now.
