The hilariously awesome couple in the beginning of the episode were on a 90's sitcom called Northern Exposure. It was so wonderful seeing them together again 🤗
I’ve watched the reactions of a dozen or more reactors and you are the first who has said what I felt from the beginning which is that they would need to keep Ellie because you never find the cure on the first try and they would be coming back for more and more blood.
This is the turning point episode. That scene with Joel and Tommy where Joel just cuts open his chest and lets all that pent up emotional stuff just pour out....This was the episode Pedro Pascal submitted to the Emmy board for their consideration earning himself a nomination. For me, he'd better get it. Again, me with tears streaming down my face. Ugh, this show. For Ellie that scene where she more or less lets Joel know that she loves him with the shove then, "Everybody I have cared for has either died or left me. Everybody, fucking except for you! So don't tell me that I'd be safer with somebody else because the truth is I would just be more scared." The expression on her face. The scene where Joel sees the young woman he thinks is Sarah. That part always gets me because not only is he seeing what Sarah would have become, but also Sarah would have been a mother and he would have been a grandfather without the apocalypse. Again, Pedro Pascal man! As before Evie, thanks so much for these reactions, and for letting us see the furbabies. That kitty is just soooo floofy. Sending love and Merry Christmas to you, your family both human and feline, to the little one who celebrates the first one this year. Such a magical time. Many blessings to you all. 🎅🤶 🎄 🦌💝💝💝
6:50 She is. Hence why the FEDRA tester tested positive. 18:52 More importantly they're infected. Next episode "Left Behind" let's goo! :) And Joel's "choice" offering was just a backhanded way to take her, as he knew she would accept anyway.

The acting in this episode by Pedro is absolutely elite
Damn... This show is killing me!
That scene where Joel is opening up with Tommy is heartbreakingly beautiful.
Pedro deserves an award.
The cover of "Never Let Me Down Again", at the end, is by Showrunner Craig Mazin's 18 year old daughter, Jessica.

Elaine Miles and the prolific Graham Greene.
15:57 a scene the games fans were expecting for you to react
This is a pivotal moment in their relationship and, therefore, it is iconic🤯😊
Jackson was the tuning point in the journey and the relationship.

9:40 Tommy is living his life, joel needs to stop talking much.
By the way the next episode is the DLC
Stop spoiling things. They deliberately placed it with its title after the end of this episode.
