Hand and Wrist Free Power Yoga / Vinyasa Flow

  • This power vinyasa flow is dynamic, uplifting, and includes lots of options to play with. It's a full, total body practice just under 1 hour long. We build strength and endurance in the legs with standing balances, long holds, and tough transitions. Are you up for the challenge? 💪
    There’s also plenty of core and ab work to give you that total body glow afterwards. It's a strength based sequence with options for different levels of flexibility.
    As always, no weight in the hands or wrists at all. There are options for forearm planks to build strength, but with modifications if you have a shoulder injury.

    Your hands free, wrist free yoga classes are phenomenal. I have elbow issues and was so concerned I would have to stop my yoga practice, but then I found your classes. I only wish you had more wrist free classes, as I have tried others, but your are the best by far! Thank you for providing a way for those of us with injuries to continue our yoga practices in a way that doesn’t cause more injury.

    The best yoga classes in youtube are yours. Most other channels confuse doing yoga with teaching yoga. You are interested in showing how to do it correctly, showing alternatives all along with your funny comments. It feels always short although some classes are almost an hr long. It is so sad that youtube does support only big channels. Because your classes are so good it is sad not to have new classes. Thank u James!❤❤❤

    Yay! A new class! I love this practice! I'm finally getting somewhat secure in my balance poses, and it feels very satisfying. Thanks for these wrist-free practices, James. It seems as if half the time either my wrist or my shoulder is grumpy, so it's great to give them a rest and still have a good workout.

    Oh yay!! 😍 Before going to bed I saw on Instagram that you uploaded this new flow and felt like the night before Christmas because I knew this Sunday would start in the best possible way.     Thank you for this practice. The length is perfect. The cue to lift the kneecap really helps me stabilize a wobbly leg. The guided shivasana is a lovely closing.😊

    This was perfect... So many instructors underestimate the people who have to take in easy on the wrists when it comes to yoga and you do not... This was challenging...     Thankyou so much for this practice! I’m beginning my recovery from surgery after breaking both my wrist and elbow, this class was perfect to get me moving and sweating again safely.

    Excellent again! Still struggling with my shoulder. Usually I fight through the pain (which doesn't help). With your workouts I challenge my balance, get a good workout and even stretch my shoulders. thank you for these practices. Much love from Anguilla!

    James THANK YOU for such a BEAUTIFUL practice!! Once again, your positivity that made me smile or giggle and your encouragement to keep with a pose or to treat our bodies with love just elevated the heck out of this already super strong and fun flow! I love 45-60 min classes, so this was a perfect length for me, and I'm so happy that you make wrist free power flows.     What an amazing flow! I sprained my wrist last week and I was so depressed to lose my daily yoga pratice. Thankfully I discovered your channel and I LOVE your wrist-free classes! I was so into it, I almost forgot about my injury. I will keep practicing with you, even after my wrist is healed! Thank you so much for offering quality classes adapted to wrist issues.

    Wonderful James! With the sun returning to lengthen the days, how about an energetic wrist-free class? I loved the side plank today on the elbows and I'd love to see if there are elbow inversions or more balances to gently build up/maintain my arm and shoulder strength? Keep them coming 😀

    You've read my mind! Thank your for a new workout. The pace was relaxing and the workout was challenging. My glutes were on fire.. Enjoyed the mind-body meditation to close the workout.Have a request for a 30-min power wrist/hands free yoga workout. Would love to see more squat/standing sequences - sumo, malasana, toe balances ( no pistol squats, please).

      Oooh that's an interesting one. Some of the Qigong. Tai Chi I teach is thought anecdotally to improve bone density. I think long holds using strength are good!
