It did help me. Design capacity was 48,400 mWh and full charge capacity was 34,925 mWh. I purchased the battery off of Amazon Amazon about a year ago and it seemed to work for a while. I did not know about checking the full charge capacity before installing it because there were no instruction to do so. I guess they don’t make recycled batteries like they used to and possibly wasn’t made up to specs. I will try charging and discharging the battery 3 to 4 times as recommended by the remanufactured battery supplier. If not, I’ll probably just toss it and try the same thing with the original battery because there was no instructions about charging and discharging. We’ll see what the future holds.

Didn't work. "This command requires administrator privileges and must be executed from an elevated command prompt." Why is that?

You need to run as administrator

both my design capacity and full charge capacity is 15,967 mWh.. how will i know if this is a good battery health or a bad one?
for context, my laptop shuts down immediately after unplugging the power cable.

If both of them are same then it's good as new

@@sazooon I have the same problem with my remanufactured battery where the laptop shuts down immediately when the charger. Unfortunately, the charge capacity is lower than the design capacity. The instructions that came with the chargeable laptop battery instructions says something like this. Inside all laptop, batteries series, a micro processor with software, which communicates with the laptop and calculates the batteries volume during charging and discharging. The new battery needs to be calibrated to your laptop gauge and to reach the best performance. Please follow the procedure below. number one, your new battery will arrive in a partially discharge state. Full charge the battery to 100%. If the charging stops at any point bracket not reaching 100% bracket, turn off your laptop, remove and reinsert the battery and it should continue charging. Unplug the power and let it run the computer power down itself. Number three battery will need 3 to 4 times full charge and discharge cycle to optimize the performance and the gauge should be reasonably accurate. We recommend the following to you. One preform a full church and discharge cycle every 2 to 3 months to keep the gauge accurate. if you will not be using the battery for a long time bracket one month or above and bracket, please charge the battery to 50% level and remove it from the computer and keep it in a cool place. I hope this helps you. But laptop batteries do wear out like any other battery.
