My mom taught me this. to take a can of peas, drain them put them in a container, add a little bit of mayonnaise and some minced onion. stir it up, cover & put it in the fridge. Ima tell you what!! it's simple but that is some of the best tasting stuff!! My mom called it pea salad. It's so freaking simple and just so so yummy!! So another use for canned peas!!

Love the freezer meals, I'm 59 and disabled and I don't have the air and energy to stand snd cook for myself and my autistic son so I love just putting these together to freeze. Thank you so much.
The Cream Cheese Chicken Enchiladas is the same recipe that my Mother in law taught me after I got married lol. I have since modified it by adding rice to the filling. My family likes it better and rice is cheep so I get more for less money. Freezer meal idea: My family LOVES lasagna, I hate making it (way too much prep work) so when I do make it I make up enough for 5 lasagnas. The prep is same amount of work, I then line up the 5 dishes and assemble them all at once, 1 goes in the oven and 4 into the freezer :)
In France we don’t bake radishes. Actually we eat in as a little « entrée » (before the main course). We put salt in our plates and dip ou radishes in it and we eat it with butter spread on bread. Sooooo good!
I just had my 4th babe in March and I'm realizing freezer meals are going to save my life. I have one seven year old and three babes under four. I was trying to cook a multi-course meal (pork, rice, veg) a week ago and of course the baby woke up and needed to nurse and it was just a whole stressful thing! The nights I pull out a freezer meal my house and I are so much more calm. Thanks for these recipes! I'll have to give them a shot.

Im Italian. This would not even come close. Its baked ravoli not lasagna. Cooking lasagna is not work for me. Its love for my family and pride actually. Nothing wrong with short cuts i hear you especially for working moms and i love baked ravioli. No shame in preparing it. But lasagna is just something I enjoy making and it is a family recipe so makes me happy. Im blessed to still have my nana she is 93 but back home in Chicago. I moved to Nevada. So when homesick i get out my pot to start homemade sauce.
Thanks for the freezer meals! My husband has become a huuuge fan and every night before bed, he tells me to put 'Frugal Christine' on to see what you cooked today. He hated any dish I made with beans, and told me to make BLACK BEAN STEW after he saw your bean and rice burritos
I just ADORE your meal prep videos. They are just sooooo satisfying to watch. Who the hell is able to cook that much chicken without getting bored?? Kudos Christine, Love you and your channel !
Sometimes it is the only meat you can afford. Or you can mix it with other more expensive meats to use for meatballs, meatloaf, fillings for lasagna and stuffed vegetables. That keeps you from tasting just chicken. Actually because of it’s low fat it is probably the protein I most use even if eating out.
I am so glad you shared this! I just scored one of those 10lb bags of chicken leg quarters for only $3.00 on clearance at my local Kroger today so now I have a TON of chicken.
I love doing black beans 'Cuban style' -- saute diced onions and green peppers in oil, dump in the beans, add Sazon complete seasoning, minced garlic, S&P, red pepper flakes, and 1/2 cup water per 2 cups beans -- simmer until it cooks down to thickness desired. So flavorful! Leftovers freeze/reheat well, too.
I did like this chicken freezer meal prep cause I just got 32 chicken thighs for $4 and being a single household I need to freeze some small meals. You gave me so many ideas. ❤
Yes just prepare in individual servings. So many times after work you don't feel like cooking and end up with an unhealthy meal that didn't even taste good and cost too much money. This is a way to avoid it. Even for those who live alone.

One our family loves to make is barbeque chicken taquitos. Super easy just shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, red onion and bbq sauce. Put a little in each tortilla, cook and enjoy. We air fry, bake or fry them and they are always a hit.
I loved this video. I am thankful, that I didn't have to process 40 pounds of chicken in 3 days, however, Congratulations on scoring that much chicken at such an amazing price.
My all time favorite thing to do with chicken breast is to marinade it in the freezer but with a blend of the following ingredients : Soya sauce, honey, minced garlic, olive oil, pepper, salt, onion powder. I normally cube it and eat it in burrito/taco form !! It is a family and friend favorite!!! Would love to see you try it !
I love freezer meal prep! I had a good eight hour day doing some yesterday: waffles, chilli, meatballs, pizza sauce and various meats in Hawaiian sauce and Italian sauce. Oh and bread rolls ready for school packed lunches

I do like to make freezer meals but I haven’t in awhile. Another thing I did when my kids were growing up is make sure I always had cooked meat in the freezer. I stopped buying canned soups because they were expensive and loaded with salt. I could make chicken and noodle soup in about 15 minutes because I always had cooked chicken, broth and frozen veggies ready to go. Or tacos in about 15- 20 minutes, the thank me it takes to heat the meat and chop some fixings. My favorite freezer meals are actually hand pies. Empanadas ham and cheese, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches are some of my favorites right now. For the empanadas I use bread dough instead of piecrust.
Winner, winner, lotsa chicken dinners!! Having freezer meals is so satisfying!! I love doing chicken and beef enchiladas, chicken pot pie, chicken italian pasta, etc. etc.

These look so good! I don't do freezer meals. I love to cook what I'm in the mood for each day. I have started to freeze leftovers since I usually don't like to eat leftovers the next day. My Grandma will be back from down south soon and I'll give her the frozen leftovers since assisted living provides 1 meal a day.
Yes and the food they do serve is AWFUL. i worked at a luxurious assisted living facility and still that food was not edible. Most of it from can and you could still taste tin. When I got hired the owner bragged about his kitchen staff. He even said i could have free lunch or whatever meals I was present for as our place served 3 meals and 2 snacks daily. My God it was BAD. I understand not being able to season food due to diet restrictions but it was bland and just gross. I hosted Friday night movie nights and I treated them all to Chicago pizza we ordered the best at my expense and I got them plenty of soda pop thats another treat they miss of coarse diet so many are diabetic and popcorn. They are at the end of life and deserve treats. Its not like junk food is a concern to living long for them.
These meals look pretty good and easy to make. I would swap out the chicken breast for chicken thighs, and use frozen peas and green beans instead of canned for the chicken pot pies. Also, I prefer a bottom crust on my pot pies. I par-bake my bottom crust first, then add the filler and vent the top crust.
I've made enchiladas with spanish rice and beans. Brown 2# of hamburger meat and 1large chopped onion then drain the fat. Put meat mix into crunchy taco shells in 9x13 pan. Then warm a giant can of Wolf chili and pour over top of the enchiladas. Add cheese and warm thru about 30 minutes. Enjoy! My oldest son finished 10 years in special forces he came home and I remembered that he liked this. He said write down the recipe! 😂
I am so proud of you for using a four year old box mix: I have seen other blogs throw out of date boxes into a dumpster and I am thinking--'you know people are starving out there' and I told them, 'next time, if you are not going to use it, put it on a street corner with a sign that says, 'take and eat'...guarantee, someone out there needs it--not the dump...you can eat most canned products well beyond the out of date dates (a year or more for most--and longer for some others)...dts
This was perfect timing, I was just trying to figure out what to do with a bunch of chicken! I'm now craving taquitos in a big way! ☺️ And the chicken potato bacon bake situation has turned into one of our fav meals here!
I'm with you Christine on freezer prep meals. You make it look so easy...and fun. It's smart to plan ahead for times when you don't feel like cooking or have no time. Great video!
Those bowls still available at world market. I bought 2. They are reasonably priced unbelievably easy to clean up. I love them and use them all the time. My World Market had a mint green
We cut up raddishes in quarters, put lime and salt on them. Eat them on the side of our dishes. Really cuts the richness of any Mexican food that is heavy.
Chicken a la king is a great freezer meal - similar to the pot pie filling but seasoned a little differently. I add mushrooms celery carrot onion red bell pepper and peas with a healthy glug of dry sherry. I precook a big batch of rice in the instant pot and freeze that in portions too so it’s all heat and eat. Indian/curry chicken recipes freeze well too. Same rice trick.
Absolutely love frezzer meals and i love how u show it all.. From beginning to end.. I feel like i waste so much food but thanks to u i will no longer do that and might b able to feed a few homeless people as well.. Tysmfs... Now to binge watch ur videos 😆 have a great day

Love these meal ideas! I eat a lot of chicken and even though it’s just me most nights I love freezer meals. Don’t mind the prep work for an easy week. ❤️
Seriously. You just gave me so much inspiration to meal prep. These kids are driving me crazy wanting to eat all the time. My 10 yr old really wants to help and she can get these from the freezer thru the summer and make lunch for us all. We loved this video today. Thanks!
It's not a freezer meal, but I get those rotisserie chickens most stores have whenever I see them on manager special, and shred the meat and freeze it in ziplocks, and make broth from the bones and freeze it, then it's super easy to use one or both for all sorts of things like chicken noodle soup, chicken pot pie, BBQ pulled chicken, use the broth to cook rice in, any number of quick easy things for a day I don't feel up to properly cooking
Freezer potatoes trick... boil the potatoes for like 5 minutes and then drain and rinse them with cold water and they wont turn dark. I learned it the hard way trying to prep potatoes for mashed potatoes because I love them but hate peeling potato. I just peeled and chopped a 5 pound bag of russet potatoes and filled gallon size freezer bags with enough for a side dish of mashed potatoes for my family. Bonus is they seem to take less time to cook for mashed potatoes if prepped this way.
What a very yummy chicken pot pit recipe that seems to be.⭐🥰 I have to try it!! So smart doing all that email prep! You are such a wonderful wife and Mommy. I pray they realize how lucky they are? Bless you.🙏🏻 I am praying over you over you!🥰
Add some ranch powder, butter and sour cream and you'll have what we call chicken bacon ranch casserole!! Delicious!! Thanks for sharing all the ideas!!
I love this. We don't have time to cook from scratch every night after work, so I've been meal prepping and stocking the freezer. Just have to put one on the counter or in the fridge in the morning, and by the time we come home it's ready to go in the oven. Thank God for real food every night!
All of those meals look amazing! I've made the chicken taquitos twice now, since watching an older FFM vid and my kids LOVE them, so thanks! My fave marinade for 'ready to grill' chicken is Asian sesame or teriyaki. I make broccoli salad to go with -- Saute 2 beef ramen noodle packets (smash noodles while still in packaging w/kitchen mallet), 1/2 cup sliced almonds, 1/2 cup sunflower seeds in a stick of butter until noodles are lightly golden. Dump two bags of broccoli slaw in a big bowl, then toss with dressing (mix in separate bowl): 3/4 cup olive oil, 2Tb red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 1 of the beef ramen spice packets, pepper to taste. Add the noodle/nut mixture and toss again. SO good when you want crunchy, and it keeps well for 2-3 days.

Sorry in advance for the long comment/questions. I'm asking you bc you're an expert in this and, more importantly, I have so much respect for what you do - you're helping people by sharing your gifts and it’s amazing, seems like you’re doing so much all the time, how do you make time for it all?! but that’s life as a mom, amiright?! Thanks for making this video (and your other ones, obviously, you’re awesome!) I like the idea of short meal prep, prep times. and quick dinners on demand. It’s like saving time, twice. Plus you make it look so easy! Any tips for picky eaters? I'm frequently at a loss for ideas on what to feed my 3-year-old. My 6-month-old is easy bc it’s simpler at this age, one food at a time to rule out allergies. But I'm determined to get better at cooking for my kids bc I want them to enjoy food. You have tons of experience with feeding a family. Could you share what your experience was with feeding little ones on a budget? Or, what worked or didn’t work for you? I’m curious if any of your kids were picky when they were toddlers or if any became picky as they grew older. And, if/how you solved that problem? Your recipes look delicious and healthy, so I can’t imagine them not eating it or you having that issue with meals, but I thought I'd still ask to get some insight on what worked for your family (maybe what you did, or the types of foods you prepared/offered, made them less likely to be picky?? Or, what were your go-to foods that were popular with your kids when they were younger? Thanks again for making your videos and for any advice you can offer about meal prepping or cooking for picky eaters! PS - I'm far from your advanced skill level in the kitchen, and any time-saving tips would be amazing. Thank you! :)
Hi, Christine, your awesome love watching. My granddaughter and I just made something similar to your potato bake. We call it potato lasagna. We layer sliced potatoe, then than , then cheese, then repeat add a layer of bacon, pour sour cream mixed with cream and bake! So yummy with a salad . We used Delhi ham sliced very thin. We enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing .
Our family has a similar chicken enchilada recipe. But we as a little smear of of refried beans on the tortilla before adding the rest of the stuff. Soooooo good.
I make spatchcocked chicken (you take the backbone out of a whole chicken and break the breastbone - lay flat to cook) with various marinades. I usually cut the big flattened chicken in half and put both halves in a gallon size zip lock bag with a marinade. One that we like is a generous amount of lemon juice, garlic, honey, kosher salt, pepper and rosemary. There is also a balsamic glaze that we like .. look up copy cat recipe for Kenny Rogers roasted chicken. When you cut the whole chicken like this, it cooks a lot faster than it would as a whole bird with a cavity.
My father is screaming from heaven, "Put a little bit of water in that jar and get the rest of the sauce!"

So is mine! Just yelling from New Zealand... 🤣🤣

So timely! I pickup my 40lbs on Saturday.
I love the dinner meals great dinners keep them coming
Tysmfs... Now to binge watch ur videos 😆 have a great day
I need the workout routine because y’all are eating so good 🤤
Adobo! Yas! Use it almost everyday. Usually comes in a powder, can be found in many stores.
Yaaas! Exactly what I was searching for five minutes ago!!! Freezer meeeeals ideas) thank you 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
Omgoodness, grilling in the mid-morning, ya weirdo😂 I've done that and my 1 neighbor just couldn't understand meal prep, he's older and u only grill at night!😂😂 hilarious. Kikin ass Christine, job well done. Going 2 have 2 whip my kid's up taquitos!! Tfs👍💜
My spouse went through a phase of grilling chicken at dawn for each day of work 😂
Yes, more freezer meals please! Love them & everyone can always use more ideas!
I enjoy all you recipes. You are a real Mom.
Love how I came across this. I'm a single person so just one of your dishes will last me a few days for lunch and dinner.
I am going to try some of these recipes once I can eat solid food again. They all sound so good.
I’d like you to do more of these because all I can find right now the store is chicken. And I’ve kind of exhausted all of my chicken recipes🤪
Christine I gotta say, I'm a biiiiiig fan of your channel and your family! Please keep 'em coming!
I really enjoyed this video. Freezer meals are great and I would love to see more of them!
Chicken pillows with the veggie, cream cheese & chicken mixture. Wow! Videos for them available on the tube.
LOVE this video.. great ideas for our family with a new baby on the way!!!!
Our favorite marinated grilled chicken is marinated in the Kroger brand Italian dressing. Omg! So simple, but so delicious!
I love your freezer meals.
What a very yummy chicken
pot pit recipe that seems to be.⭐🥰 I have to try it!! So smart doing all that email prep! You are such a wonderful wife and Mommy. I pray they realize how lucky they are? Bless you.🙏🏻 I am praying over you over you!🥰
I love raw radishes with classic Sabra hummus. So yummy!
Add some ranch powder, butter and sour cream and you'll have what we call chicken bacon ranch casserole!! Delicious!! Thanks for sharing all the ideas!!
Got to be one of the most helpful videos I have seen in a while! Thanks
We love these taquitos! I usually triple or even quadruple it and I only have 4 tiny kids.
I love this. We don't have time to cook from scratch every night after work, so I've been meal prepping and stocking the freezer. Just have to put one on the counter or in the fridge in the morning, and by the time we come home it's ready to go in the oven. Thank God for real food every night!
I love the Our Best Bites recipes. My absolutely favorite is their chicken fajitas. The marinade is incredible.
Just made the creamy chicken taquitos for my family they loved them! Even the little ones were raving!
9am and now I'm hungry!!! I love your daughters personality! She is so cute well pretty. Too old for cute!
You are so kind

I pretty much have been watching this video every day since you posted it. So inspiring!
This was EXCELLENT!!!! Chicken Suprise!
We have a similar dish with potatoes chicken and bacon- I add either ranch powder and broccoli to mine, or taco seasoning and bake it up- it adds a nice level of flavor without much effort. Super tasty.
Thank you! :)
Always a good day when you upload!!
you zap tortillas in microwave for 30 seconds or so with a damp paper towel stops them sticking together! Recently found your channel, love it
Hi, Christine, your awesome love watching.
I LOVED this! You totally inspired me to try these yummy freezer meals! More please. Thank you!
Oh my goodness! Thank you! I am saving this one! So many ideas for chicken without getting too tired.
Our family has a similar chicken enchilada recipe. But we as a little smear of of refried beans on the tortilla before adding the rest of the stuff. Soooooo good.
Made the creamy chicken taquitos. So good! Definitely a crowd pleaser.
Where we live in California on the Mexican border we use corn tortillas for our taquitos we also use corn tortillas for our enchiladas
Love all the recipes. Chicken is great especially pot pies
