@@peterhogan9537 Nope, you are wrong. It says T/A 6.6 on both sides. I own one, plus I have the factory OEM decal layout for the car and it shows on both sides. Both Van Nuys and Norwood installed the hood scoop decal on both sides. Some engines like the 301 didn't get a decal at all in certain color schemes. But if the decal was installed, it was both sides of the scoop. Period, end of discussion.
What you saw was an error. Did one or two cars come out of the factory like that? Probably. However it is not correct, and the factory literature backs up exactly what I said. No more discussion.

basic t/a no power options, no a/c, just the 4 speed, Pontiac 400, t-tops, it could still work for a resto-mod. Run it.

No, it should stay it on both sides. That was the correct way the factory did it. I own a 400/4 speed car.
