Not really... the least that you can do is just bend in the rear fender just a bit so that the chain doesn't catch it. i did that on my 4 Stroke and it works great!
A trek 3700 frame looks to small from online pictures of the bike. I would recommend going with a bike such as a Kent 700c, that has a nice Large frame. I was thinking about doing another build with that bike because of its large inner frame size. Otherwise the best thing to do is go with a big enough beach cruiser. The bike I got even was a bit small! Lol, so I had to do quite a few mods on the engine bracket in order to get it to fit. Thanks for watching! Subscribe for more upcoming Motorized Bicycle videos! @@kaseygrumpykeller5867 yes but isn't that to say the same for the rest of the bike? I mean you never really know what could brake and cause you to crash, almost all motorcycles have fenders and if there's a lot of other components I'd be leary about before worrying about the fenders braking.

Is there any way to use the rear fender with no modification for the engine driver chain?

What kind of bike is that?
Switz cruz
Are you able to pedal? Having probs assembling the motor components. Have the motor installed but pedal doesn't clear trans.?? Any suggestion?
Yea I am. You have to get the wide pedal cranks for it to clear the motor
You can get them from bikeberry.com
I have the wide ones. I went to your fb group. Waiting for approval and I can post pics
@@frank-em6co ok, sounds good
Very nice. I plan to do similar with a Trek 3700 mountain bike. I'm concerned. Hoping the 4 stroke fits.

You need to take those fingers off before you get seriously hurt my brother

I mean fenders not fingers 😉😉
